There is shouting from Gongenzaka, shouting that Peridot will need to ignore. For a sharp instant as Yuuya falls, his focus moves from how Peridot will need to guide iron, to 'Yuuya!' on repeat...as if they could do anything about it.

But the sharp pangs of fear and worry cut short, and Gongenzaka regains his senses in time to pass on something of an idea. "She will still focus on us- but if it is possible once this arm is cut away, guide the iron inward!"

Not to mention what ever other direction their target may be in, but keeping the iron INSIDE while not getting squashed is the big goal first. They can move from there.
