Reira isn't here to camp, so much as explore. Eventually all the people going down below is going to catch her eye, and she just has to check out the place. What's going on in the Wyldlands?? What's so great about that place versus up in the station??
Mostly she's determined there's lots of plants. Actually a small cluster of flower sprites seem to have decided she's their new tree, for the moment so...that's cool.
It's while these various things (they look like dandelion puffs actually) are sitting on her arms, that she spots Papyrus. (So did her daemon, but they're busy being a bird a little ways above. So.)
Spotting him at all is pretty great because it means she can awkwardly walk over, arms still held out at her sides for the 'puffs', and ask something she's been wondering. "Mn- Papyrus..!"
... "...What kind of metal did they put on you..?"
