The mysteries of Sans' dinner rolls will continue to plague Papyrus another day. And possibly bolster him, if he's running low on safe food again.
"Oh, that is good," Papyrus says, reassured by his brother's observations. He squints in the same direction, making out that they're still over there. Not a whole lot else, especially not of expressions, from this distance.
"But... Do you think, she's the kind of mom who wants her happy? Talking so they'll keep talking, isn't the same as going to help her daughter's... special friend."
He honestly doesn't know, for sure, what relationship the Summer Maiden and RM have. It's clearly at least friendship, far beyond 'ally' - the Prince was supposedly an ally, but that went all power games and stealing and killing for sport. The Summer Maiden's not only kept her promises, and made good promises, but offered the kind of no-conditions warm welcome that few mortals ever offer. To all the carnival, not just the Ringmaster. And she's here, despite her beliefs, to help get her back.
