"Well... I mean, there's not much reason for me to stick around if I don't at least try and help out, right?" He presses his lips together, frowning down at the liquid in the bottom of his cup as he tries to get his thoughts in order.

"If I'd actually been in danger of dying, I probably would've tried to head for medical sooner... but I wasn't. Only made sense to look around and see if there was anyone else who needed help."
