This is not how healthy individuals deal with their problems.
Who: Psi and Open
What: Drinking Alien Booze
Where: The Cookhouse and Around (see prompts)
When: Right after the supervisor meeting.
Warnings: People using alcohol in unhealthy ways. Drunkenness. Adult language highly likely.
He takes to the air as soon as the meeting is over, sick of looking at that weird symbol and sick of listening to everybody talk about what to do next. All the other supervisors seemed to feel like some kind of violent response was necessary. Perhaps in their minds if the carnival didn't respond it would allow the vampires a second chance to attack. The Psionic, however, didn't agree with that line of thinking. The reality was that none of them had any way of knowing if the vampires were considering a second attack or not. The Psionic really didn't see anything wrong with getting rid of sygil and leaving it at that. It was weakening the wards, so of course they needed to remove it, but so long as the wards could be fixed they were safe here.
Even as he thinks that he can't help but feel some small sense of doubt. Even if he did feel that way, everyone else seemed to disagree. Was he missing something that seemed obvious to everyone else? Maybe they knew something he didn't. It's those sorts of fears and anxieties that begin to emerge as he flies. He doesn't want to remember the first attack, but the images come unbidden as his worries grow. Would a kid as young as Bonnie be forced to defend herself from beings like that? Miko and Lars were older. They were a bit more capable and a bit more annoying, but could they truly stand up to a foe like that?
It's nights like these when the Psionic misses his Alternian companions most. They had always know what to say and do. Their absence stings tonight in a way it hasn't in a long time, so where he ends up doing really isn't much of a surprise.
I. The Cookhouse
When he finds the bottle he holds it up victoriously. The drink inside appears to be a truly distressing shade of fluorescent lavender. He smiles before twisting off the top and pouring himself a drink. It's an Alternian liquor, or at least that's what the label seems to imply.
"This stuff is the best. Here, try this." And if you're nearby he pours you a drink. Even if you're not that nearby he'll probably end up calling you over. "This is what real liquor tastes like."
II. Around the Carnival
He's just a little bit drunk right now. He isn't stumbling, but his psionics seem to be going off much more frequently then normal.
"Hey, you! You!" he shouts loudly as he see's you walking by. He rapidly waves your character over before excitedly asking them, "Truth or dare?"
III. Supervisor Grove
Now he's really really drunk. He probably should not have drank that entire bottle, but it's too late for regrets now. His head is spinning, which is annoying, and he keeps wobbling a bit as he tries to balance himself. He stumbles, tries to catch himself with his own psionics, misjudges the force and ends up pushing himself flat on his back in the opposite direction. There's the thud of his body hitting the ground before before he just starts laughing hysterically. He makes no attempt to get up whatsoever.

He'd retreated from the medical tent (and Strange's spying) before the supervisor's meeting had drawn to an end, supposedly to rest, but mostly to put an end to a completely non-sigil related argument. Unfortunately, rest doesn't come easy when you're stuck wondering what the hell happened after all, so instead he's seated on the steps of his own trailer, filling the time by — once again — writing in one of his little memo books.
As much as he'd been hoping to spot a supervisor on the way back from the meeting, spotting one being drunk and disorderly isn't exactly what he'd meant. He does stop writing to look up, though, and keep an eye on Psi as he approaches.
"Have you been drinking?"
Kind of obviously yes, sure, but it doesn't hurt to make sure.
Re: ii
"Ah ah ah, you said neither, but a question counts as truth." he's loud, louder than he realizes, and by the end of his sentence he's basically shouting, so pleased at how clever he is being right now. "So are you going to play or not?"
no subject
"Fine." He knows this game by another name, but he imagines it still works the same. "I'll pick truth."

"What do you mean?"
Re: II
"It's a game. If I ask you truth or dare you pick one. If you say truth you have to answer a question honestly, and if you say dare you have to do whatever crazy thing I think of."
He laughs again, just because it's such a silly stupid game, but it was fun somehow anyway.
"Got it?"
no subject
"Okay, then... Truth!" Not that dare doesn't sound fun, too, but he has to start somewhere.

ii, sometime after the thread with childermass
Instead, he spots Psi who...well, even from afar Strange can tell that the poor man's a bit drunk. Still, he doesn't have to be at his fullest facilities to answer a simple question. So, as the other man waves him over, Strange decides to walk on over to the supervisor.
As Psi starts his question, Strange asks, at the same time, "You haven't seen Childermass around, have you?" Oh, wait, there was a question. There's a pause before Strange answers, "Dare?" After all, what's the worst that Psi could dare him to do?

So he tries to think up some kind of dare. Even if Psi did have something awful in mind he wouldn't use it on the first dare! Instead he just taps his chin thoughtfully while he thinks of what to say.
"I dare you to kiss the next person you see." he says, smirking as though he's just given out the best dare in the world.
no subject
"I'm afraid in order to complete that, I'm going to need your hand," he says, as if it's the most matter-of-fact thing in the world.
After all, Psi is technically the next person he sees...and the troll didn't specify where the kiss had to be. One quick little kiss on the hand, like a gentleman would to a lady, and he'll have completed the dare to the letter!

And stick to light work, which is a little annoying.
However, he does raise an eyebrow at the color of the liquid as he examines it in his glass. "Should I ask what it is, or is it better that I don't know?"
no subject
"Even if I told you, you wouldn't know what any of it was." he comments, glancing up to Ginko to see just how off-putting that information was. He smirks, before reaching forward to take a large sip of his own cup.
no subject
"...Well, you wouldn't've given it to me if it was going to kill me, right?" And he definitely does mean that, as indicated by the fact that he goes ahead and takes a sip - then sets his cup down and puts his arm over his mouth as he takes a moment to cough into his sleeve.
"--Shit. How strong is this?"

What the heck had she just gotten into and why was he running around challenging random people to truth-or-dare contests? Was she even allowed to say no? He's in charge of some stuff around here, right?
Re: II
"I dare you to talk in song for the next three questions."
no subject
Seriously.
Well, now she regretted everything! But... rules of the game, somehow she never even thought about just walking away. So instead she nodded -- then motioned a circle with her fingers at him. He was up next, so if he answered truth or dare without her having to ask, so much the better.

He raises an eyebrow when asked. "A game? But I'm going to eat now..."
no subject
"You can eat whenever you want." he explains, wrapping an arm around Tamaki's shoulders and leaning on him for support. "But you can only prove your courage right now."
Apparently Truth or Dare was some kind of test of bravery in the Psionic's mind. He shoots Tamaki a challenging look as though daring him to turn down the game.
"So what'll it be? Truth? Or dare?"
no subject
"Fine. Dare."
Bring it on.

There's the sound of wings flapping as he take the easy way of going straight from the steps of his trailer to Psi's side, leaning over the alien with a fond grin. "I hope ya left some booze for the rest of us in the cookhouse, mate."
no subject
"Not a drop." he answers, before breaking into laughter again. He quiets down after a moment, sighing deeply and closing his eyes. With his eyes closed it felt like the whole world was spinning out of control. It's unpleasant, but not intolerable, and he's warm. He hums in contentment before opening his eyes and looking back at Joker again.
"Lay down with me." he demands, trying to reach for the other man's hand. If Joker resists it's highly likely he'll use his psionics to bring Joker closer instead.

"Hm.... what is that strange flavor? I've never tasted something like this before." He kind of squints at the glass, marveling at the peculiar taste, trying to put his thumb on it. It definitely didn't taste like the wine he was accustomed to.
