If Ginko knew Tanyuu didn't like it then why did he continue to act so recklessly? Was the desire to help stronger even than the care and worry of his friends?

Psi tries to imagine someone close to him telling him to take better care of himself. While usually that could of request would only cause him to roll his eyes, if they had asked urgently and sincerely he'd like to think he would have listened to them, in most situations anyway. If he had to pick between saving someone else's life or saving his own he knew instantly what choice he would make. This situation wasn't like that though. Another person's life wasn't going to be in jeopardy just because Ginko decided to stay still instead of walking around.

Even if Ginko had found someone injured the Psionic doubted he'd have been able to do anything about it. Psi had already started combing the carnival for the injured by the time the danger had passed. With the Psionic's wings there was no doubt he would do a much better job of it than Ginko. Maybe that was why Ginko had been so much easier to boss around this time.

Those thoughts are left behind as Ginko chokes down the drink in his cup. The Psionic smiles and laughs. He reaches across the table to clasp Ginko's arm.

"You alright there? Don't choke to death on me now."
