Susan doesn't notice, at least at first, too distracted by all of the cool fish and whatnot. It's not until he's swimming back to show Lauren something cool he found (a hermit crab that's gone back into its shell now or something) that he sees that Lauren's not feeling so happy becomes obvious to him.

He frowns, still holding his hand out to show him.

"Are you okay?"
