During that couple of weeks when he brought a letter to Sans' mailbox every day, when his brother was hiding from him... Several of Sans' neighbors (the other people in charge!) had chatted with him. And every single one seemed surprised to hear they were brothers. Partly because Sans was being weird and sad and guilty and not mentioning him, but partly... They didn't look much alike. Completely different heights, different proportions, different facial features... If it weren't for being them both skeletons and growing up together, he'd have no reason to think they were related by bone at all!

But there was an easy way to change that. And it would let him keep the proper height difference between them, nyeh heh heh.
