Okay everyone! An announcement for anyone performing!

We all look pretty different now, or at least, I think we do, which means we need to focus on what's really important!

Or at least sort of important, I guess you could perform with nothing on bu- BUT YOU REALLY SHOULDN'T!!!

Anyway, you need to get refitted! All of you, everyone who needs a costume for when the show starts, as soon as you can!

I'll be at the Tailor's Tent-I even got fabric ready!

[Carly isn't kidding. She's waiting, and she's waiting with a MOUNTAIN of fabric, her jellyfish self looking rather like a curious black blob in a sea of colour.

The minute a performer comes in, she swoops in breathlessly, possibly with relief.] Good, you're here..!! Over here now, this way-I can't even use the dummies any more, there's nothing I can really use to represent fins....

[It might be best to get a word in sooner rather than later-otherwise, your costume might be a little far from what you're after!]

We need to make costumes! For everyone performing, for all of their show needs, start to finish! There has to be something for every act, and everyone involved!

[Ash looks at her for a moment.]

Anyone who's going to be performing in the ring, we need to get outfitted!

Honest question, you think you can do more for me than a seashell bra can? [Ash didn't even mean that question in a naughty way.]

[You shacked up with an airhead, Ash. What can we say.] Definitely! [Carly replies, missing even the potential for innuendos.] What sort of thing were you looking for..?

Hey, let's be honest, I know what I'm drawing 'em in with before the show starts proper. We might as well sell that up, right?

AHH... [It...takes a hair of a moment, and then she's coughing and laughing and-] R-right!

RINGMASTER STYLE, then! [WOAH THAT COULD BE TOO MUCH or just enough, who knows. Either way, she pulls out the dressing model she shoved her 'royal' attire over.] The tricky thing though, is they don't seem to really care about revealing...even accenting is a given, so you need to make it pleasantly flashy! Like a fish looking for a partner!

Yeah, it's kind of weird, but hey, I can handle 'accent' just fine.

Right! So... [Hmmm. She ponders a few things, darting over to pull out a couple yards of fabric.] First then, you're probably going to do something with music, right..?

...That is literally all and everything I do, Carly. I mean you might as well say, 'you're going to show up for your performance, right?' [She waggles a finger at the other girl, all smiles.]

Th-Th- I was waiting for you to give me more details..!!! [Ahhhh, the fluster continues...it really is just so easy.]

I change it up, Cee -- I'm so flexible I can do almost any role they need me too. I try to work support a lot so I'm not just dominating the stage, so why not thing magician's assistant?

Magician's Assistant..? [Hmmmmm...] I can definitely do something like that...ah-!

[Carly pauses however, holding up a finger.] Though, first, what are magicians like where you're from? We might be thinking of totally different costumes, and that could end really bad in the long run if that's the case!

I mean stage musicians, who are all about the illusions and the tricks. Not actual actual magic. THOSE come in all shapes and sizes.

Well I meant those too..!!!

I mean, you can have all sorts of themes in stage magic these days, you know? [she explains, starting to rattle off already.] Some assistants just wear cute dresses, others wear full suits...and then there's the 'bunny girl' take...

[Ah.] ...Come to think, a lot of those don't work here at all...

Or the 'catgirl' take, right? [It isn't just here that those costumes overlap with reality. Although Ash's entire lower body abruptly jerks as she tries to twitch her tail at Carly, forgetting that her tail IS her entire lower body.]

Ah, I guess! But that one would be sort of...

[Ah. She blinks and stares at the 'tail waggle', pausing a moment.] ....A little redundant...

...I don't know that the people here would really catch that reference anyway, come to think...

Very redundant. So, shiny tight clothing? [That's the first thing that she thinks of in this situation, something that isn't putting everything right out there but nonetheless makes clear what she has, and draws the eye without dominating the scene.]

Hmmm...maybe not tight...

[She looks over the other, tilting her head back and forth to peer around.] Oh!

How are you with sashes?

I think I could wear one -- sashessfully! [Oooh, she's way too pleased with that one, feel free to smack her.]

OOOOOH! [She could smack you for that pun!! But she won't that would be too much.] That's too good!!!

...But sashes it is~! Maybe colours should be a thing-like the scarf trick magicians do, since we can't get too much going for 'assistant'...

Oh what, are you just gonna drape me in nothing but scarves?

That could work...

Something like that! There should be some patterns on them too, magician scarves aren't just plain right?

Sometimes they are, depends on the magician in question. I'm good for either.
