Greg's mouth tightens a little from that description of the Ringmaster. Even if he'd started to suspect it, it's the first time anyone's said as much out loud. It's...concerning. "Well, I don't have much of anything I want from her, so I guess that'll work out." Nothing short of getting his family out safely. She's already made clear how she's ready to warp even that much, he won't be asking for any more.

Of all the directions he might have expected the conversation to go, Greg definitely hadn't expected Amethyst to come up. "Huh? Really?" He hadn't even thought to ask about her living situation. Everything's always been so... fixed, for the gems.
