What: A sudden spike in the mushi population brings some trouble to the carnival.

[Following the recent disappearance of Ginko and Tanyuu’s mushi repellent, there will be a sudden increase in the number of mushi in the carnival this week.

Fortunately, yasabi aren't too hard to get rid of if you know how. And you don't seem to have collected too many yet, either.

They don't like salt, so what you might want to do is mix salt into a bath, and make sure you get plenty on your wings. It might take a couple rounds of washing to get them to leave, but it should do the trick.

Ah, that's gonna be tricky since I don't try for baths, but I can probably puzzle out somethin'...

[Just gotta get a big enough metal tub- or kiddie pool, who knows what they have in storage around here- and make a drop by the cookhouse... But with that solved, Joker refocuses on Ginko.]

[...About him? Ginko shrugs, gaze shifting down and away.]

...Ginko, I know plants growin' outta people has become pretty common around here, but when it's not because of the carnival, I think it ain't too strange ta get a little worried about it.

[Ginko makes a sound halfway between a laugh and a sigh.]

S'pose that's fair. I guess you're free to worry, if you want to. But there's no reason to, I've got it under control.

[He's just constantly exhausted and frequently in pain, but. It's cool, he's fine.]

[That sounds super fucking fake- and Joker likes to think he would know. He's a ma who is constantly faking things, all the time. It's the only way he knows how to be.]

[And yet he hesitates to press any further because, well... It's because he's that type of person. Ginko hasn't pressed, yet, on what happened that regretfully drunken night. To do the same back to him...]

...Need help with anythin'? I mean, once I get that salt bath done, I'll be glad ta do what I can. It's a pain for the whole carnival, after all.

If you could look around and... see if you can find anything looking like an infestation, that could help. Just let me know, or... tell Tanyuu, if that would be more convenient.

[Now that he's done working out Joker's condition, he finds himself once again acutely aware of their... situation. Whatever that might be. And the fact that he doesn't know what it is.]

...Right. [That's... vaguely encouraging. Either he's willing to go to Ginko after all, or he's at least willing to claim he is, to... spare Ginko's feelings, or whatever.

[He supposes that's the best he can ask for, huh? Breathing out, he gives an awkward but friendly fist bump to Ginko's upper arm.]
