[Following the recent disappearance of Ginko and Tanyuu’s mushi repellent, there will be a sudden increase in the number of mushi in the carnival this week.

It didn't mean to. [That's one thing he should clear up right away.] Forgetting how to speak is just a side effect of hearing a yadokaridori's voice up close; the mushi had no intention of harming you.

[So it's his fault, for putting the shoe so close to his ear. But he had no way of knowing that would happen, so really it's just unfortunate circumstances. At least, that's Tamaki's evaluation of the situation.

He scribbles on the paper again.

What can we do for it? It's scared. My shoe's kinda smelly.

[Honestly, Ginko would consider that a pretty apt summary. It's not really either of their fault; it's just how things turned out.]

Hm... well, it probably can't be convinced to leave its shelter. Normally, yadokaridori hide like this when there's a calamity coming at sea, and they don't come out until it's passed. This one's reacting to the lack of ocean here, and that... won't be changing any time soon.

We... might be able to convince it to move to a different shelter, though.

[Tamaki thinks on that, then looks around his trailer. He's not sure he has anything that can be used to to provide shelter that would be better than the shoe, except maybe...

He goes to his bathroom and looks around for a bit, before finally returning with a seashell bracelet that Steven made him in Atlantis. Because he was fairly big at the time, the seashells used were a bit big too - maybe one of the hermit crab shells will be big enough for the mushi?

He holds it up for Ginko's inspection.]

[Ginko examines the bracelet carefully, ears twitching forward.] Y'know what, that could work. Yadokaridori usually go for shells anyway, so it may find this preferable anyway... You don't mind, do you?

[He nods. He likes the bracelet, because it was a gift from a friend, so he'll want it back one day. But for now, the yadokaridori needs a home that isn't his shoe. That's no place to live, and besides, Tamaki needs to wear it for performance.]

Alright. Thanks; now it's just a matter if getting it in there... I might need to go see if the Cookhouse has any seaweed. In the meantime...

[He passes the shoe and bracelet back to Tamaki.] Set those up with the openings together in case it moves over on its own. I'll go see if I can get some bait for it.

[He nods, doing as Ginko tells him. He carefully clears a spot and sets them on the counter, hoping that the mushi will move over soon. He looks back a Ginko, hoping that is good.

He wonders if the thing eats seaweed, but it's hard to ask like this. Maybe after he gets his voice back, he can pepper Ginko with questions about it.]
