Bored as always.
Who: Lucifer and OPEN
What: Exploring the carnival and probably annoying strangers.
When: Day 95
Where: Gamer's Circle, and anywhere you want him to bump into you
Warnings: None yet.
After a brief mishap with a malfunctioning Ferris wheel, Lucifer found himself flying away from the contraption and landing by the entrance of the circus. He folded his wings firmly behind his back, checking around him to make sure he wouldn't get into trouble for exiting a ride in what was probably considered an "unsafe way."
Granted, to him, staying on a rickety, broken-down Ferris wheel was far more unsafe than flying away from it before it collapsed.
Being interested in what was going on around him was a bit new to him. What was even worse was the fact he was actually a little overwhelmed by all the sights to be seen. The demon world didn't have anything like this, and angels would have turned up their noses at such mindless...fun. And the human world? Lucifer had gotten to see very little of that.
He wandered around Gamer's Circle, not participating in any of the games himself, but watching others do so and wondering if this was truly supposed to be more entertaining than video games.

So he liked having a mysterious air. Or maybe he was being cautious, keeping his hand close to his chest. Allen could play the game, but unless it was poker, he didn't like to.
"Ah . . ." Allen shook himself of the silence and smiled lightly, scratching his cheek awkwardly. "What's your job, then?"

He says as he eats another beaver tail or whatever the heck it's called. But hey, he never said he was planning on doing anything besides eating all of Allen's food.

Gulping the beaver tail down faster than any human had any right to, he continued, "That makes us in the same division, doesn't it?"

Clowns were freaky.
"Why the heck are you a clown? Why don't you do like, magic tricks or something. Or amaze people with how fast you can eat for such a tiny human?"
no subject
EQUAL CLOWN RIGHTS!

He picked a piece of candy from his beaver tail and popped it into his mouth, breaking it in half against his canine and playing with it with his tongue.
"Then again," he mumbled, his mouth full, "I dunno you that well. You might fit into either or both categories."

Creepy really was the best word for it. Lucifer, for one, was having trouble keeping one particular secret from Satan; Donald MgRonald really did spook him.

As a child, Allen could spot the fake smiles, and he didn't find that particularly entertaining.

In other words, he didn't have a problem with Allen being a clown. It was just the make-up that was freaky. Better to be a performer than simply a liar.

He had to hope that was the case. "It's lonely otherwise, isn't it?"

He spoke carefully here. He used the term "people" very loosely.
"Actually," he murmured, "I shouldn't say "where I'm from." I'm from a few places. The place where I consider my people to be is the place I'm referring to here."

That sounded right. He was really just combining terms Yuya used with concepts he had already experienced with the Ark back home.

"You've been here awhile, then, I take it?"

There was a joke in there somewhere, lying quietly beneath his tone. He wasn't just an ordinary clown.

He finished his snack and folded his wings, letting one arch forward slightly so he could preen.
"Speaking of which, is he part of your show, or what?"
no subject
"Tim??" He couldn't imagine ever involving Timcanpy in the show. It would be a disaster. "No way. I can't order him to do anything."
Allen scowled as he continued, his tone a judge committing a criminal to life, "He's untrainable."
