Bored as always.

Who: Lucifer and OPEN
What: Exploring the carnival and probably annoying strangers.
When: Day 95
Where: Gamer's Circle, and anywhere you want him to bump into you
Warnings: None yet.

After a brief mishap with a malfunctioning Ferris wheel, Lucifer found himself flying away from the contraption and landing by the entrance of the circus. He folded his wings firmly behind his back, checking around him to make sure he wouldn't get into trouble for exiting a ride in what was probably considered an "unsafe way."

Granted, to him, staying on a rickety, broken-down Ferris wheel was far more unsafe than flying away from it before it collapsed.

Being interested in what was going on around him was a bit new to him. What was even worse was the fact he was actually a little overwhelmed by all the sights to be seen. The demon world didn't have anything like this, and angels would have turned up their noses at such mindless...fun. And the human world? Lucifer had gotten to see very little of that.

He wandered around Gamer's Circle, not participating in any of the games himself, but watching others do so and wondering if this was truly supposed to be more entertaining than video games.

"Probably being a nuisance. The man has a habit of getting himself into the most disagreeable sort of arguments imaginable. And he's hardly subtle at it either!"

Strange is equally not subtle, as Lucifer's probably guessed, so this is a little bit the pot calling the kettle black. Still, as Strange rolls his eyes, he's a hundred percent confident in his assessment that Sherlock Holmes is loud and troublesome.

"He's good for conversation and useful in a fight...he just has a habit of sticking his nose in other's business and not thinking before he rushes into things."

Again, Strange is a giant hypocrite. Though he's just talking about this in the most idle, nonjudgemental sort of manner possible.

"Or, in his case, turned into a lizard."

Entirely unaware that Lucifer actually has experience getting stabbed, Strange siiiiighs, giving the other man a little shrug. "Hopefully he's learned his lesson. I don't think any of us would want to deal with that sort of nonsense again."

Well, this is a little bit morbid. Strange frowns, looking at Lucifer in a new light for a moment (because seriously, that's where he went to first?), before dismissing his idea with a little shrug.

"I wouldn't know," Strange remarks, as if talking about this is a perfectly normal circumstance and not something that's a little creepy. "I'm afraid that I'm still a little stuck on the changing someone back aspect of transfiguration magic. Oh, I can turn them into birds or cats easily, but going back to human is difficult."

"Really, I think it's mostly because I've no idea where to even start with the counterspells. All the counterspells are either lost to the ages or out of my grasp. Transfiguration is a delicate magic, one that magicians of my time wouldn't deem respectable." Even non magicians would deem transfiguration not respectable. After all, Pole seemed entirely against Strange taking up spells of the old aureate magicians to begin with, emulating those magicians who could turn themselves into mice and back as easily as they could breathe.

"The only reason I've been able to cast that magic in the first place is because I've improvised off of previous spells." That's how Strange did most of his magic these days, after all. He took something, he added onto it, made alterations, and then cast it that way.

Less powerful than us. If he brought those wings from home then this person obviously wasn't human, but the fact that someone could think themselves so not human that they would relegate humanity to a simple 'us versus them' grabs Strange's interest as he starts to be just a little too nosy.

"What are you, out of curiosity?"

Obviously not a fae--his experience with them was few and far between but he can't imagine any fae either willingly signing on with the Ringmaster or being dumb enough to get stuck in her trap. So what was this fellow?
