Perhaps in one of his years resetting, he did it to stave off boredom. How he does it with no arms, absolutely no one can guess. “HOWDY! - ｆｌｏｗｅｙ” Is written on each and every indistinguishable bipedal animal that could resemble an annoying dog and he’s handing them out with a happy greeting! ]

“Howdy! You’re not the ugliest person on the planet, but you better hope he doesn’t die! Nice to meet you!”

“Howdy! You look like a mistake only the chaos of the universe could make, pleased to make your acquaintance!”

“Howdy! You’re kind of like Rapunzel, but instead of letting your hair down, you’re letting everyone down in your life! It’s so good to make new friends!”

“Howdy! I’m Flowey. Flowey the Flower! I’m an experiment gone wrong and I’m still less of a mistake than you! Have a nice day, happy to finally say hello!”

[Alphys can hardly believe what she's hearing. Her Flowey only ever appeared to her in order to hurl (well-deserved, as it turned out) verbal abuse, to trip her up with a well-placed vine, or to leave threatening letters in her mail. This Flowey- he was the same Flowey, wasn't he? Just from another timeline? This Flowey seemed almost... grateful? After everything she did to him, too.

The Ringmaster must really be a miracle worker.

It makes her think, too. If Flowey can change, who says she can't, too? She can be a better monster. Own up to her mistakes. She had a whole year to do it, didn't she? And she could start with this.]

T-then.... please! Let me help you! I'll g-get you anything you need! And you can get back to normal even faster!

[ He sighs. He should know better than to ask Alphys for favors, but the truth of the matter is, unless he has people trying to force emotions out of him or trying their best to trigger them, this was going to be a difficult journey. He's lucky enough his amalgamate of feelings now could work together and function...

My contract with the Ringmaster. I signed to get my soul back, but the clause was that I had to regain all my feelings one by one.

I'm trying to force out every single one that I can, but-- a bunch of them must be negative. If I learn all the positive ones fast, I'll be back to my original personality, but then have to experience all of the negative ones next. And if it's vise versa, I'll be acting more Flowey-ish.

Whether it's good or bad, that's all the help I need.

[Well. Alphys certainly has a lot of feels. The problem here is that most of them are negative. Does Flowey want to learn crippling depression and self-loathing?]

Well, uh... I can help with some of them! And I know a guy! His name's Papyrus, he's the most positive guy I know! I bet you could get a lot of good feelings from him!
