She comes back from the concert, and immediately falls asleep. Holding her pokemon close, curling into her bed and drowning everything she can out with her pillows and the light flooding her trailer. And her first morning back is no different. She acts as though nothing has changed-she gets the schedules together, she looks over what needs to be done, what was left behind in her swift retreat to the void, and within a span of hours she's already got sewing machines churning and a pot of coffee on hand. Her tongue sucks in as much of the drink as possible as she goes, and she moves like a woman possessed, dedicated to her work.
It isn't as though it was something that would make her cry. She never hurt anyone, not physically, and if anything most of the sharper blows came back to her.
But somehow she can't bring herself to think about it because at the end of the day she gave in she gave up and while it was supernaturally impossible to avoid in the long run it's still just SO-!

[WARDROBE - CARLY & YUUSEI (or others, even!) | D30 (Evening) - D32]
The Wardrobe tent hasn't changed much in the last week, and by changed that means 'properly tidied'. Julien has been doing a pretty incredible job of upkeep, but nothing can save it from the chaos between worlds, a chaos that stretches in through the first bit of Performance week.
Naturally this means Carly is there, hard at work-but she's also not alone. A young teen-dressed to fit more with engineering if anything, given oil and grease stains on his gloves and jacket- seems to shadow Carly for a few days, and every now and then she pokes her head from her work to ask 'Yuusei' how he's doing. The teen looks somewhat distant from it all, not through disinterest but instead sheer unfamiliarity that Carly seems absolutely dedicated to 'solving'. She flits back and forth, occasionally a bird, occasionally not, and finally eventually settles on tasking him with a few things to dust up what was woefully abandoned during their last location. 'Don't worry about it!~' is what she insists when he asks why nothing was done beyond bare minimum for the last week, and instead she gets to work at sewing various fabrics, piecing together any updated costumes and things.
The mannequin as usual stands where it is, and far in the back the recycler bubbles. It's time to start the work-week once again, and with aliens to entertain the sky is truly the limit! But then, are you here for someone to fit you, or are you here for work?

Did you sign on for the space olympics? Well regardless of if you end up placing or not, Carly's job is to make people shine on stage-and that could include you! Come over and get yourself a costume for such thrilling events as Space Swords, Space Wrestling, or even Space Competitve Eating! GO FOR GOLD-!
And try not to come in at the last minute, she's busy enough as it is!

If Carly had intended on being a hermit today, well, that's just too bad for her. Nui's feeling protective in her own hyper and pushy way, which means she's going to make sure Carly gets out at least once today after she's had something to eat. In the unlikely event that someone is mean and upsets her boss, Nui's got no problem with cheerfully kicking them in the face. The Ringmaster might have rules against killing one's kin, but there's nothing in the rules about doling out a few lessons in manners with the tip of one's boot. Or pink frilly parasol, as the case may be with Nui.

She's hardly suited to nurturing roles, and were she not genuinely fond of Carly, she wouldn't even be this gentle about it, but she does care. That's something.
She peers around the room until her eyes finally fall on him and she waves enthusiastically in greeting.
"Oooooh! Hey new guy! I'm going to borrow Carly. Or you can come walking with us when she's done her grapes. I don't mind!"

"Ah..." He glances between the two women, mostly to Carly as if asking her what the correct course of action would be here. Is there some sort of protocol he needs to follow? "Er... If you're comfortable with me coming along, then I can..." This is Very Clearly a man who Also doesn't get out much. Or at least, he wouldn't if he didn't have to.

Well, she flashes a thumbs up while her mouth is full, at this point. "Mnh-~! Wonderful~! In that case...Nui, this is Yuusei~ He hasn't signed up yet, but he's going to...he just needs to think it over, is all~"

She'll just avoid mentioning all the danger people can find themselves in. To Nui, it's a plus, but there are plenty of others who don't feel the same way about it. Being able to regenerate nearly instantly from injuries that would be fatal to a normal person has a way of making those kinds of risks not seem like a big deal. Thus far, fae magic seems to be the only exception. She takes longer to heal from that, and it kind of sucks, but she does still heal faster than most.
"Welcome Yuusei! This place is a lot of fun, you'll see!"
