Who: Susan + Lambert
When: Day 72
Where: Training Grounds
What: Now that Susan actually works for Lambert, he should probably show him what he can do.
Susan hasn't really gone to the training grounds before, but it seemed like a good place to show off his magic. After all, it's mostly pretty dangerous spells, and they aren't very good indoors... Especially not if his magic decides to act up and bring a giant fireball exploding down on him.
He's hoping that doesn't happen this time.
Still, though, even if it doesn't, indoors is... Not a good place for this, and since apparently he's supposed to actually use the training grounds now (even if he's not exactly sure what he's supposed to do there), it seemed as good a place as any to meet with Lambert to show him some spells. He wasn't sure exactly what to start with or anything, but he'll just figure it out as he goes.
For now his familiar, Fluff, sits on his shoulder in hawk form as he waits for Lambert, practically bouncing in place as he just can't help but be impatient. He guesses he could always start off with some magic while he waits... Maybe it's better if he doesn't though, just in case something goes wrong.

Lambert strolls into the training yard, searching for Susan -- and he doesn't prove hard to find, given not a lot of people are using the place right now. He gives him and his familiar a lazy wave, then crosses his arms, raising his brows.
"You and your brother talked about some of your magic before," he starts off, business-like. Back in the cave under the Manor, he means -- though that's hopefully fresh enough in Susan's mind.
"Refresh my memory. What can you do?"

His smile falters a little when he remembers exactly when he'd really ever talked to Lambert before, but after a moment he's back to smiling as he starts to talk.
"I can do all sorts of magic. Most of it's for fighting, though. And most of that is fire. But I can do other stuff too, like lightning, and I can turn into animals, and I can lift up heavy things and open doors and stuff like that too."

"But you also said you only learned those things on your own. Have you ever actually used them to attack anyone before?"
no subject
"I have. I figured them out on my own, without anyone teaching me, that's because I'm a sorcerer. But I've used it on animals, and monsters, and sometimes even people. We've gone on lots of adventures and stuff for people, and sometimes we had to fight bad guys. Even here I did too, I killed one of the vampires when they attacked us!"

“I want a demonstration,” he tells Susan, then points. “Try attacking that dummy with one of your spells.”

Casting only takes a couple of seconds of incantation before he gestures towards the dummy, a bolt of blue lightning shooting towards the dummy from his hands. Even once reaching the dummy it doesn't fade, the electricity still arcing between him and the dummy, sending shocks into it. Of course with a magically resistant dummy maybe it isn't obvious what damage it would be taking if it were alive, but the light show at least is still impressive, Susan thinks.
