Even a little fighting back is enough to create a scene that others can notice. The good side of that is that it includes Syrlya, who's rapidly navigating the streets for their most vulnerable.

He teleports to the roof just above Ginko's head, early enough to witness him disable the first hunter. He rushes alongside him, and when Ginko stops he leaps down to put himself between him and the hunter, his shield raised defensively.

He's not only on the defensive, though, and his fingers twist as he attempts to catch the feet of the hunter with a violent, painful burst of magic under their feet.
