⇨ WYLD HUNT
Who: Everyone!
When: Day 100
Where: Shabondamashii
What: The Wyld Hunt unexpectedly crashes the Shabon's dimension, leaving chaos in its wake. Those that have been with the carnival for a while might recognize it as the personal army of a fae called the Huntsman - also known as one of the Ringmaster's age old rivals, whom she dethroned thousands of years ago. The last we heard of him, he was pursuing the carnival, and it turns out he found them faster than anyone thought.
Warnings: Violence, theoretical cannibalism.

THE AUTUMN MOON↴![]() There isn't any warning. You might not even notice what's happening at first, with the approach of the threat happening as spontaneously as a zombie uprising. You're minding your own business, enjoying Shabon, when a random alien charges you on foot with sudden and aggressive intent. Whether or not you can throw them off or defeat them, you'll soon find they weren't alone. An entire army is descending upon the city now, and the carnival is the target. ► THEY ARE LEGION: The Wyld Hunt comes in all shapes and sizes, with beasts and men from all kinds of different universes having been caught up in its sway. Those that have been in the Hunt for a long while have more or less completely lost themselves - they now function only as part of a pack, hunting whatever the Huntsman wishes and consuming what their prey leaves behind upon death. Some members of the Hunt are newer and more unsure, but they are all a part of a psychic hive mind that compels them to move as a unit. Everyone in the Wyld Hunt instinctively know what the Huntsman wants them to do, even if they never speak to him. Their skills, powers, and physicalities are all over the board, but there are a notably large quantity of Wyld Fae among them, often being used as mounts by more powerful humanoids within the Hunt. When NPCing members of the Hunt for threading purposes there is a lot of flexibility to what you face, including entities and beasts from your own worlds - provided they are creatures capable of functioning independently. ► HUNT OR BE HUNTED: When set upon by the Hunt, it is easy to become overwhelmed. Unfortunately, in that situation, the only way to beat them is to join them. Beginning to hunt alongside the others will immediately pacify them against you. As soon as you start to follow, the thrum of the Huntsman's will will start to take over - the more you hunt, the harder it is to turn away from it. If you do stop, or successfully oppose the compulsion, they will be quick to set upon you again. Like the others, you will feel the craving to consume any individuals the Hunt has felled - you must resist this, because once you have eaten the prey of the Hunt, you'll be trapped within it indefinitely. ► WORN OUT WELCOME: The people of Shabon are used to crisis, but this is a bit beyond what even they are prepared to tolerate. The Hunt will be causing collateral, both of the human and the material sort. While the workers in Shabon have very well practiced escape procedures in the event of something like this, the other guests are not as fortunate. Plenty of them are capable of fighting back on their own, but they will not always be capable of avoiding the hordes. The longer this goes on, the worse it will get. Eventually, the Shabon workers will realize who the Hunt is after and start actively trying to turn carnival members over to them in order to make it stop. ► IN TWO PARTS: Tragically, this turn of events and the realization that she's managed to put everyone in danger once again will be what finally causes the Ringmaster to split in two. One side will immediately become disinterested in using violence to counter this problem, while the other will be desperate and reckless. This will also completely screw her ability to get anyone back to the carnival in time. There will be at least one Megathread dealing with her actions during this. PLEASE NOTE: This is a conflict the carnival is meant to survive, not win. The main point of this is to get the plot rolling in a new direction, so don't worry about figuring out how to defeat the Huntsman, because in this moment it basically won't be possible. Have fun threading out the crisis, and see where it leads. I wanted to be up front about that, as opposed to letting everyone grasp at straws to prevent a result that will be inevitable, even if the details will shift. |
⇨ INVESTIGATION THREADS
DON'T BE VAGUE. If you are having your character investigate something, you must explain what your character is specifically doing to find out information. Don't just say "I investigate the Twelve." You have to be more specific, by saying what your character is doing, such as "My character is going to ask the Honorables that brought everyone in who the Twelve are." The more specific you are, the better info you will get in return.
You can also confront NPCs by this method, and you'll get summary posts in return explaining how the situation will unfold based on your actions. Investigation is important for this plot! Various boons and advantages will be given out for characters who make a difference.
Please restrict all investigation actions to one or two actions at a time. Please don't give me a laundry list of the five different things your character is doing, because it makes everything too time-consuming to get through. Stick to one main thing your character is looking into per tag.

A. The Ringmaster, since she's been noted as MIA and B. If the hunters are originating from around one point in particular (a certain location, a certain being, etc) or if they're just flooding in with no real way of telling from where or how.

His plan is to ask them questions like why are they here and what are they after, then knock them out and leaving. He's hoping the answers aren't 'to hunt down and eat the carnival,' even though that seems distressingly likely.

Hanamaru Kunikida | ota!
The chaos starts when Hanamaru's inside one of the communal bath areas. She quickly put on her yukata and, still shoeless, freezes a moment in the chaos. Eruka said that things had gotten bad...but this was something else entirely. It's only when she hears someone cry out in pain that Hanamaru springs to action.
She's singing very quietly, but it's still audible. Hanamaru's found some poor npc, a humanoid looking man with his leg broken at an awkward angle. She's tying on a splint, made from some broken benches and a torn apart bathrobe, singing all the while. It's only when a carnival member approaches that Hanamaru stops singing and looks up: her eyes are a little red, like she's been crying, but she's keeping her calm.
"D'you have any healing magic, zura?" She can stop the pain, but that doesn't do anything for the break. And considering that most of the first aid Hanamaru knows is basics picked up from the medical tent, she won't do well for any major injuries.
two: heal plz but in a different capacity
The chaos is still going on as Hanamaru's trying to run for where she assumes the carnival portal is. Unfortunately, she's a pretty big target. Something's taken a swipe at her: her head is bleeding, her arm's at an awkward angle, and there's a large gash on one of her ears.
The first carnival person she spots, she's rushing towards, clutching her obviously broken arm. She's not even bothering to hide the fact that she's crying. "W-Where's the portal?"
wildcard
holla at ya girl and we'll plan something out
HEAL PLZ (ver 1)
So while her face...Shape is the same, everything else has kind of...shifted. A lot.
That's not important though, and Carly opts not to focus on reunions when there's more important things to do. Hands alight with golden fire, she nods. "A little bit- I'm not sure how well it'll do, but it should do something at least..."

⇨ IGNATIUS PT 1 (CLOSED TO SHURA)
Still, the Horned God had been an ally of the Courts before the Great Beast had sewn her chaos. It was better odds than he'd had in a while of reconnecting with the Summer Court, if the Horned God could be convinced to cooperate.
Either way, he already knows that his Dark side will probably fuck this up, somehow, based on the frailties he'd left behind. He makes the determination that he has no choice but to act.
As the Wyld Hunt begins to flood the realm, Ignatius's Light side heads back to the Shabon spa for the first time in a while, with the hard light blade he stole from Reira in hand. He has a problem to solve.
The sight of an Ignatius marching in with a weapon is probably a bit daunting for anyone who notices.

Or just straight up coming down the alley. When did that guy get himself a sword? It certainly looked a little too menacing to be a trinket from a game stall. Jeez, was he even allowed to have that? And just where was he going with that thing?
"My~ You musta won the grand prize to get that thing." She almost looks relaxed, the way to lazily crosses her arms over her chest, hands in her sleeves. If she can stall him, get to her radio, then she might have a chance if things are about to go wrong. He was still their captive, after all. Why wouldn't he consider making a break when he could?

Syrlya | OTA
The absolute chaos is as much in their favor as it is out of it, because it provides plenty of cover for Syrlya to navigate himself through the streets with sword and shield, alternating teleporting and invisibility to slip around the violence as he scopes out carnival members. The sooner they can clear out of the streets and regroup, the sooner they can find the Ringmaster and get out of here. That's his idea, anyway.
As soon as he sees or hears someone from the carnival, he focuses in on where they are, what's happening around them, and if he's going to have to make a quick move to defend them. Either way, armed with his sword and shield, he's going to come in closer.
[Battle]
Of course, there's more (and a growing number of) hunters than there are carnival members, and he's finding himself running face-first into them more frequently. This, at least, is something Syrlya is comfortable facing--hording enemies with an nonnegotiable desire for violence. When they come, he fights back, and when he can see a fight is going to become outmatched, he teleports. Ultimately he'll save his own skin so long as he's focused on finding allies, versus trying to stand his ground taking down as many of the hunt as possible.
He has no mercy for the rabble, though, what were once all manner of mortal creatures. If they get in the way, then he'll move them out of the way. Violently.
battle!
Unfortunately, a hunting party is on Strange's tail. There's two humanoid looking men and three direwolves: animals that look like wolves but are about the size of mountain lions. One of the direwolves is on fire. Strange turns the corner, running as fast as humanly possible. As soon as he spots Syrlya, he gives him a tense grin.
"Get ready," he simply says, before he skids to a stop at Syrlya's side, summons another fireball to his hands, and prepares to toss it the moment he sees the hunting party. "They've caught my scent."

⇨ IGNATIUS PT 2 (MEGATHREAD)
The symptoms rapidly start making the nature of the disease clear. Wyld fae, mindless hunters - it's the Wyld Hunt, though he hasn't seen the like of it for a long time. Ignatius isn't armed, and he still has lingering wounds. But... well. For once he doesn't feel like just sitting down, and uses speed and stealth instead of strength to make his way through the crowd.
"Wizard!" he calls out, tentatively. He isn't sure where to start. "...Rita?"
no subject
So while Ignatius is calling out for Strange, Strange is searching for Ignatius. He'll have more answers. And, though Yuya did mention he was split earlier, hopefully he's reformed by now. When Strange spots Ignatius, the wizard's got his third eye activated, and his forehead, hand, and forearm burn with magical fire. He rushes over, straight up pushing past people.
"Ignatius!" Strange isn't even bothering to hide the tone of relief in his voice. "Do you have any idea what's going on? This magic—it's fae!"

Light and Dark Alphys, OTA
They're both cornered by beasts, Light Alphys swinging the broom to keep them at bay while Dark Alphys just lays there like a lump.
"You evildoers have met your match! I, Mew Mew Kissy Alphie-chan, will defeat you!"
"Oh my god, they know you don't have any magic, that's not gonna work..."
"Shhh! Look, I'll deal with you later! Your negative powers won't work on me!"
"Uggghhh, you're gonna get us both killed! This is the worst day ever."
They might need a little help.

CARLY | OTA
[Carly has been going back and forth between the Carnival and the Hotel for much of the day before- dropping off purchased goods, doing a final run through the stands for things she likes...she wants the last day in Shabon to be nothing but relaxation!
And that means not worrying about packing, see. On the plus, that means all of her nonsense collection based things are in the Carnival when the Hunts begin. So there's no worrying about those five teapots she bought, or something.
On the other it means she finds out about everything via distant screaming and her current masseuse asking her to 'please leave, right through this door to the right-']
HEH!?
[Which, on that note, is being broken down by the impatient members of the hunt who aren't exactly wired for casual hostage transfers.] HEHHH!! Like hell..! [She protests, and before any of the staff can really argue, she's turned into a hummingbird and scorched a neat little hole through the nearest paper screen.]
HEY!! HEY, EVERYONE!! [At which point, it's fair game for anyone she Actually knows to find her.] We're being attacked-! AH- [Excuse her while she
1, turns back into a person
2, sets up a nice big wall of fire between you (The Good Guys) and them, (the Hunt Guys)
and more importantly 3, grabs whatever actual food is near and scarfs it down.]
Mffg, I don't have the energy for this nonsense...
[SHE NEEDS SUGAR,]
[SHOT THROUGH THE HEART,]
[It doesn't exactly take long before Carly realizes what's going on. The first order of business of course is to see about getting to the Carnival.
Which. Well, doesn't work, the portal's down.
Then she tries contacting the Ringmaster and, well.
That doesn't work either.
Ordinarily Carly would panic. She would panic a lot. Possibly even split in two, because honestly, who wouldn't. (The Ringmaster sure did, not that she knows)
But
It Refusedthat's not the time for this.] This way-![What it's time for, is helping- which is why if you're a bit overwhelmed by incoming hunters, you might find a wall of fire between their attack, and your face. Or maybe instead there's an odd lumbering, grunting sound followed by snarls of frustration as arrows pierce arms and legs- and promptly weigh them down with stone.
Maybe there's no sound at all- as arrows of fire or petrification go straight through the heart of weaker hunting party members, rapidly solidifying them from the inside out. Either way-] Come on! We can't fight these sorts for very long!
[You should probably listen to the Administrator.]
[WILDCARD Got something in mind? Carly will eventually be playing Tower Defense with Steven and crew's 'vine-covered box', but is otherwise running around through the air to do rescues, so hit me up!]
CW: THERE WILL BE GORE
There's really an unfortunate amount of eel things visible around him, swimming through the air as if it was water. A couple of spindly intestine-like purple jellyfish blorb aimlessly around beside them. There's a sense to these things that they're only visible at all due to fae attunement.]
(no subject)
GONGENZAKA | OTA
[It is perhaps a small misfortune- or a fortune even? (For really, how long would he stand the isolation if he were locked up in the Carnival during this mess)- that has Gongenzaka in Shabon when things turn to hell and back. He's been going back and forth for most of the week; typically to drop off purchases, as he doesn't intend to mess his hotel room up with such things. In this case particularly, it was a tree. Hopefully it does well without him, and also water (or maybe his strange undead pets can handle that? They certainly aren't with him NOW).
Whether or not he's watered the plants is far from his concern when stalls start getting knocked over however. He doesn't even have time to question the incoming horde- they simply charge, and keep charging, and so Gongenzaka stiffens.
And then braces himself with the belt about his waist, aiming his arm.] HMMN!!
Whatever it is you are here for...I, the man Gongenzaka, shall not stand-by!
[Fortunately, he was launching repulsor blasts before the speech. Unfortunately-] Nh-!
[Well unfortunately, not everything is going to be blasted off, and he's entering a physical grapple with more than a few folks.
H E L P]
[Divided Attentions]
[Once he's out of the frying pan, it's far easier to traverse the 'fire'. Particularly since he's pulled out his 'Crown of Flames'- what with it being a simple gem half the time, it's rather easy to keep that on his person at all times (not unlike the belt). Whatever members of the hunt try fire, most are in for a rude surprise. ...Most, anyway. He's yet to encounter any actual Fae in the mess, and he really hopes he doesn't have to.
Marishi is keeping watch, at least.] Hmmm...Head south, Noboru- we've a straggler that way.
[It's a spell they're both familiar with, casting with the ease one would swim. Marishi sits curled upon his back, glowing with aura as she focuses on tracking- while Gongenzaka himself merely focuses on staying alive. They can't canvas the entire realm...but they can canvas as far as the Carnival would have covered from where they stand. So it's something, at least.
Regardless- a rescue is incoming!] BRACE YOURSELF! [He roars, charging into whatever fray there is.] AND GRAB ON! I, the man Gongenzaka, know of a safer location..!
[WILDCARD Gongenzaka will be attempting to ferry others to those with portals and entrances to a sort of protected zone being created by Steven and various others; in general he'll also try to help fight, so hit me up!]
Wildcard
While he's trying to find other carnival members first and foremost, they're not the only ones in danger. He helps what patrons he can clear out of the way and get them running. At one point, this involves a shopkeeper who's navigating the alleys--a rough man in a leather apron that Yuya nearly collides into as he swings around the corner, disappearing as he tries to outpace a couple hunters.
It isn't long, though, before both of then come back out into the light of the street. The shopkeeper holds Yuya tightly with his arms twisting behind his back, boldly coming face to face with the hunters.]
This who you're looking for?! [There's a desperate tone when he speaks, like he's more afraid than he let's on.] You can have him!
W-wait, no--!

Ginko | OTA
This hiding place won’t be secure for long, and Ginko knows it - but he still appreciates having just a few moments to rest, while depending on the dog-deer-thing pressing nervously to his side to let him know if any unknown changelings are getting too close. Honestly, he has never been more appreciative of Antlers than he is in this moment.
Of course, being himself, the best way he can think of to put his utter terror over what’s going on to good use is to check in with whoever he’s ended up hiding with.
“You alright?” His ears swivel forward as he checks over the other Carnival employee who’s wound up here with him. He’s more or less alright, himself, except or a few minor scrapes and bruises from his escape, but he can’t know if they’re in the same kind of shape or not without checking. “If you’re hurt, I might be able to help.”
B - Escape
Anyone who’s worked with Ginko for any significant amount of time can probably attest that he’s not much of a combatant. He's been working on that, bit by bit, with Tyki - but that's only been going on for so long.
So his first priority, in the end, is to focus on getting away.
He sends a burst of tendrils out of the ground, slowing a weaker hunter long enough for Miu to hit them with a puff of paralytic spores before scurrying after Ginko and Antlers. Ginko scoops her up, barely breaking stride before he keeps running - but it doesn't take him long to run into another hunter.
He would probably appreciate some help.
Wildcard
(( OOC: Hit me up if you want to do something outside these prompts! If going with the second, let me know if you'd rather I NPC and we can work out an idea for the pursuer. ))
B
He teleports to the roof just above Ginko's head, early enough to witness him disable the first hunter. He rushes alongside him, and when Ginko stops he leaps down to put himself between him and the hunter, his shield raised defensively.
He's not only on the defensive, though, and his fingers twist as he attempts to catch the feet of the hunter with a violent, painful burst of magic under their feet.

Joker, ota, still split like a dumbass, tw for NPC death
No matter which side of Joker is around, both would no doubt agree that getting devoured or murdered is 100% hogswash and not in their interests. Unfortunately for Light Joker, this basic bit of common sense is offset by the fact that he does, unfortunately, care.
He cares a whole lot, as it turns out, and that's why he's out here.
Joker can't find the sword he filched from the Rose Queen, despite the fact that he swears he knows where he put it, but that's fine. He still has his wings, no matter what part of his soul he is, and he's been using that to great effect. It's that combined with his great flexibility that's allowed him to make it through the cramped airspace of Shabon where other flyers can't always make it.
So for anyone who's trapped outside, being bore down upon by either members of the Hunt or another visitor of Shabon who wants to turn them over, they'll find Joker landing sharply on the opposing party and calling out to his fellow carnival workers. "Go on, run! Or- hold on!" Just give him a second here, he has to think of a Step 2 for this plan. Hopefully he has that long.
B - Dark Joker
There's a reason Joker's light half wasn't able to find the Rose Queen's sword, and it's because his dark half has it instead.
Even with all his worst thoughts about himself tugged into one entity, Joker isn't a fantastic swordsman, but he's a decent one who's not afraid to play dirty. He knows he won't be winning any fights, especially not against this number of foes... but so long as it buys him time and gets him where he needs to be, that's good enough. After all, much like his better half, he's here to usher back those of the carnival that were still out in town.
...His methods, however, may be something to argue about.
Said method is to grab a random patron who's clearly weak enough- he's not going after anyone who can obviously kick his ass- and flinging them into the way of the hoard with a nice slice to the unfortunate's side. The pain distracts not only them, but a member of the Hunt out for blood. Joker doesn't even miss a beat or listen to the scream. Rather, he's more interested in roughly grabbing someone by the arm to hurry them along.
"Let's move." He's doing this because he's a supervisor and it's his job, after all, so there's honestly no time to waste. "I know where the others are holed up at."
LIGHT..
Not to say that's because she's scared or anything. She's certainly not feeling great, but she's definitely Not Scared. (Well, not inexplicably at least. She is definitely rightly terrified within reason here)
And if she was scared, it wouldn't change what she's doing now anyway.
Her geta haven't fallen off yet miraculously enough, but that's about the only thing going for her. Reira manages to keep from getting dealt any serious blows by way of her shield. And if she tried desperately to Simply avoid a hit by being wind, well...
Those never worked and it's a good thing she can make a shield now isn't it. And speaking of good things...
"...Run where..!?" JOKER SHE'D LIKE YOU TO THINK OF STEP TWO QUICK,

THE WYLD AMONG US - OTA
Perhaps you're trying to bolt to the Carnival's fortified defenses when a shadow suddenly falls over you, the flutter of wings overhead as a sudden breeze stirs your clothes.
Perhaps you're walking down a dark alley, trying to avoid an angry crowd of Shabon's guests, when you hear the steady tap of unshod hooves against flagstones.
Whichever it is, you're not alone.
[ This is Kytha with her NPC account! Please note that these run-ins have the option of character death or induction into the Wyld Hunt. Hit me up at
no subject
There's something eerily quiet about the alley he's squeezed into, like the life of these houses has already been swept away with the hunt. He tries not to think about the numbers that were consumed... or joined.
The silence does make the sound of hooves extremely prominent, and he whirls around on his heels to find the source.

STEVEN UNIVERSE | HEDGE FORT | OTA
It's easy, then, to fall right into his niche. He's always had abilities better suited to playing defensively, anyway.
It's a mixed blessing that the mark of Steven's presence is incredible obvious. On one hand, it means that it's super easy for carnival members to find. On the other, it makes it pretty obvious to the horde as well.
The first signs of the hedge fort will be the presence of a vast swath of crystalline thorns around an abandoned temple-like building in central Shabon. These vines are probably pretty familiar, and maybe a bit unsettling, as the mark of the Blue Rose and other dubious things, but they are also something Steven can do now! The vines are thick and sharp, but will shatter like crystal under enough force, even if they grow back just as quickly.
Further along the line, Steven will have hooked up with people like Syrlya and Childermass who could potentially teleport people inside, as well. This top-level is open, and you can also put your own top levels beneath it if you like, covering everything happening in the hedge fort.
YUUSEI FUDO + LIGHT/DARK | OTA+CLOSED
It is... an unfortunate consequence of his diligence throughout the week that he should fall so quickly. He is first set upon by the Wyld Fae in the middle of his tireless work, and by this point he's thoroughly exhausted himself. It's because of this that the moment he even begins to move with them, he's seized by the will of the Huntsman, and just as mindlessly as the rest of them, he follows in their stead. He'll likely be easy to fend off thanks to his weak state, but until that point he'll be just as persistent in his attacks as he was in his mechanical work.
[DARK: A CALLING UNHEARD OF]
This one... He doesn't quite realise what's going on despite the distant whispers.
It simply doesn't register with him that his other half could be in danger, and though he has no intention of forsaking his "ideal self", he doesn't begin to seek him out when the horde arrives. Not at first.
Instead, he'll be bounding away from them, through them, eagerly taking anything sturdy-looking that he can find to combat some of the weaker foes with. And when he comes across someone he recognises from the carnival that doesn't seem hostile, he'll grind to a halt and quickly inquire, "Do you need help?"
And, a bit after, "What the hell's going on?"
[YUUSEI: SELF-CARE] (potential cw: forced romantic/sexual gestures)
Eventually, they must come together. Eventually, they must find one another.
And find each other they do. It's after his dark half has fended off more fae that light suddenly pounces on him, knocking him to the ground with his sheer size and the element of surprise. The two struggle for awhile, though dark is hesitant to hurt his other half, Carly's words having apparently stuck with him through today.
Fighting, dark eventually realises, is absolutely futile, and if this continues for much longer then the other fae will surely assault him next, and one of them will definitely die. He can't put himself through that - he can't put Carly through that.
He will not let himself die.
Dark seizes light's collar in a moment where he staggers, and with a snarl he cries, "Wake up and smell the roses!"
He hardly cares if anyone's watching as he smashes their lips together into a messy kiss.
Light struggles at first, but he quickly finds himself trapped under dark's weight, gripped by his many claws and held in place as dark insists that he remembers who they are through the Huntsman's will. And, eventually, his struggling ceases, and dark is surprised when his kiss is returned. And then it's like they fall into each other.
And then they're Yuusei again, really Yuusei again.
From here he scrambles to his feet, unsure of what just happened to him and frankly unwilling to attempt to process it right now. Right now, he just knows he's in danger.
[CLOSED TO YUUGO: A FATHER AND SON OUTING]
'So um. I need some help finding the other half of myself...'
This is not what Yuusei wanted to hear - the whole one would've been quite distraught, but his dark half is just annoyed. And also distressed, mildly. And yet despite convincing himself that he needed to only worry about his own person, he still ends up taking incredibly unnecessary turns and paths to try to locate any banana children amongst the oncoming horde. Pipe in-hand, he attempts to keep away from the bigger groups while striking at some of the weaker sorts who come too close.
"Yuugo! YUUGO!"
...
He might've forgotten that Yuugo's other half was out there, by the time he rejoins, if it wasn't for the crackle of radio static that sounds shortly after he picks up his pace again mentioning it. He's stressed because Reira isn't in the immediate vicinity, and while he's sure she's fine, he doesn't want to risk calling her and drawing some unwanted attention toward her in case she's hiding. If nothing else, he has to bring at least one of these kids home safe.
Unsure of how exactly he's going to track him down, he starts calling out Yuugo's name once more, though he worries that might not work. Then, with a brief frown of thought, he takes a deep breath and-
"FUSION IS BETTER THAN SYNCHRO"
WILDCARD/NOTES: I'm retconning Yuusei's initial Shabon toplevel; instead of remerging on D97, he's instead remerging early into The Hunt! No threads occurred with merged Yuusei before this point, so I figure it's fine. These prompts are mostly meant to give a general idea of what his halves are doing before they fight and how Yuusei's doing after he becomes whole again. If you have any specific ideas, you're free to come at me! I'm also happy to expand upon any of the prompts I've given here.

Tyki Mikk | HEDGE FORT + OUT AND ABOUT | OTA
He becomes a runner, going in and out of the brawls, fights, and fort to look for the Ringmaster, search for food, and provide an opportunity to escape above the crowds with his power to choose. It's a tough fight and it leaves Tyki winded, a mess, his clothes torn. Some of them he can handle, his Dark Matter ripping through flesh and bone with ease. Others are made of tougher stuff, easily reflecting his own attacks back at him.
Out in the bathhouse, he can be seen using lethal means, going for hearts, organs, or bones to rip from their bodies with his Power to Choose. Anything to slow so he can escape and not get caught up in their numbers, worrying less about the kill and more about trying to keep moving. Call out to him and he'll fetch someone in need.
Within the hedge fort, he might check on Steven, make sure he has enough to eat or drink to sustain anything he needs to, or dragging wounded towards somewhere to lay down. If he's alone, and he often is, he might be resting against the wall, his hands stained with blood, the occasional trickle of dried blood at the corner of his mouth from a rough blow, with his arm often dislocated or torn into from his Tease shield failing him. Either way he won't stay still for long unless someone makes him. Tyki's not one to idly sit around in this situation.
(Wildcard as usual is an option. He's just mostly sticking to one location and around it but he will go long distances to achieve something if able. He is broadening his search until he finds the Ringmaster as that is his high priority.)

Unfortunately, happening to look up and catch sight of a bloodied Tyki is absolutely enough to make her mildly freak out.
"Tyki! What happened to you!?"

"I'll make this quick," she starts. "With the Ringmaster... compromised, I think we should discuss what some of our options are for enlisting backup," she growls, fidgeting with her gauntlet anxiously.

REIRA | OPEN HEDGEFORT PROMPT + CLOSED PROMPTS
[Reira waits as long as she can, outside that mirror. Or at least she does once she realizes that she can't get into the Carnival anymore. Because, see, the Carnival had been the entire point of things.
Go figure people are talking about that on the radio by the time she's out the mirror.
But Reira waits. She finds a secluded corner and hides away, blocking the entrance with a shield.
She manages to pull this off for a whopping five minutes before an entire crowd of excitable, murderous intent comes toward the spot with far too much confidence to be tested.
Reira's fortunate to have her daemon- the creature goes from squirrel to bear and plows an exit through weak paper and wood with the girl on its back, carving a swift 'back exit' to start running from the few hunters that tracked her down. On the plus, bears aren't slow. Penuel is doing a remarkable job of keeping them on the go!
...But it won't last forever, and they're quite aware of that.] Hff...hfff...hfff-!
[She wishes she'd thought to call someone. As it is, all they are right now is a bear and a child casting a trail of golden dust behind them while they try to keep ahead of their would-be-killers.]
[CLOSED TO TYKI]
['It's too dangerous to fight while you're with me- so run!'
That was what Yuusei- one half of him anyway- had told her when they came to face his other half. The taur had immediately set her down and told her to flee. As fast as she could, preferably. So she did.
With a fair amount of bitterness, for that matter. First Joker had to set her down and say run. That was fine, it was a very Run situation. She probably shouldn't even be this upset about Yuusei. That was a pretty 'Run' situation too. But all she can think about is why she's in the mess to begin with. Specifically, about how Yuuya had promised that he'd come through the mirror, along with everyone else, and then....
....
And then no one came.
She was alone, so she hid as she once had when she was even smaller than she was now, only to be 'caught' and made to run again.
She's tired of it. So instead of hiding and waiting this time she tries to think of someone who will actually be reliable this time, someone safe, and powerful, and someone who won't just ask why she's alone again when it isn't even her fault that she's alone in this mess, it's everyone else who keeps dropping her to fight, and-]
PFRRRRRRRRTTTTTTT-!
[Everyone within a few kilometers of that horn, is going to hear it.
Even the Link itself is loud! But only one person is going to be able to track it to the exact location she's in as she blows.]
[OPEN TO THOSE INSIDE HEDGEFORT]
[...Once she's inside the fort, things are going to be a lot more boring for Reira. Not that she minds- she's exhausted, to the point where she's struggling to keep herself awake and is only barely doing so by curling up against Penuel while the (for the moment) bear sleepily keeps watch. Power naps are short, and scarce. So much running around is going on, with medical matters and roll calls to be had, that it's not surprising Reira's unable to get a lot of shut-eye.
She would think it only fair, given no one else likely is. Or she would in her right mind at least. Right now however, she's of no mind to think of that.
Which is exactly why the first person to either wake her up or address her is unfortunately greeted with a bit of a baneful look, and perhaps enough confusion to prompt the person in question to repeat themselves.]
no subject
At first he's skeptic, his ears canting upwards to listen, the pull of it beckoning him towards it. He's not unaware of the dangers within the horde but he's continued to strive to keep moving regardless of what happens. He stalls, only a little longer, to assess whether or not it was carnival calling or the horde rallying their troops. The last thing he wanted to do was run into the Huntsman himself. He's moving again, towards the horn summoning him, and makes quick work of getting there with a few bursts of speed.]

[closed to rin]
More importantly, he just so happens to be looking out of one's eyes — if shadows even can have eyes — when he spots a familiar enough face out there in the chaos. At least, he thinks he did, which has him requesting the shadow construct double back for a closer look.
Was that really who he thought it was? Perhaps. He can't recall seeing Rin anywhere within the temple, that's for sure.

Instead of trying to fight, Kuro bounces on the heads on the larger hunters and their mounts and dashes past the smaller. Nosh flies along next to them, using blasts of brilliant dragonbreath to hold off their attackers. Rin, still blinded and separated from his brother and Shura, can't do anything except hold on for dear life.
"Isn't there anywhere that's safe?!"
Nosh creates a pretty intense explosion with her breath that covers their escape, and Kuro ducks into a nearby building large enough to accommodate him, and Nosh follows. Maybe they could at least catch their breath...

ALAS, LOST TAGS...
It's a Trap | closed
One of those streets used to be for vendors. Most of the stalls have been smashed down, leaving tatters of colorful wears and paper all over the place. And blood. It's lit, visible, but mostly empty.
"Help..."
Except Yuya. Yuya staggers in a wide circle through the streets, swaying side to side as his gait is uneven and arms hang limply at his sides. He's still in his yukata, and except for a bloody cut on his arm that's clotted and a bit of dirt he looks... surprisingly unharmed.
"Help..."
He won't be hard to find through scrying, soul searching, or even just looking from the rooftops. He stays to the middle of the street, in the light, alone, moving at an even and unhurried pace.
"Help!"
Oh Boy
He seeks- For Yuuya first, of course, and he's still some distance away. If Gongenzaka were to open his eyes he would see nothing that Yuuya sees, or will see in the next moment or so.
But the man focuses, hunkered down where he's managed to avoid detection from other members of the hunt thus far. He knows where Yuuya is, but is anyone else near? Familiar, or otherwise? And if 'otherwise' is not nearby...
'.....'
He tries to reach out to the other- to Yuuya, to his soul. A gentle prod that brings a feeling of 'hope'. (He just hopes Yuuya can 'feel' it.)

LAMBERT - OTA
If he runs into a Carnival worker in trouble, he won’t hesitate to leap into the fray and assist.
Otherwise, if he spots someone unoccupied, he’ll quickly canter over to accost them. “Have you seen the Ringmaster?”
But the Hunt isn’t all there is to worry about. As the workers of Shabon begin to catch on that turning them over may be their best chance at survival... well, there aren’t any pitchforks, but there might as well be. If Lambert catches sight of anyone who seems pinned down that way, he’ll head over as well.

As Lambert rides by she's dealing with a group of three; some kind of walking volcano thing, one that looks suspiciously like a gnoll, and this fanged six-legged horse the gnoll's riding. Beau's swearing as she dodges and weaves around them, doing her best to not get surrounded. She baps the volcanic creature back with a new staff instead of her hands, favoring the arm with scalds all up it.

⇨ WYLD HUNT FINALE (MEGATHREAD)
Not attacking - not yet. Despite some clumsy and uncoordinated attacks against the vines protecting it, there has been no siege in earnest. If there was, it is unlikely that Steven could have held it off. There is a certain wariness that comes from dealing with the vines, seeing their connection to the Blue Rose, but Steven is not a killer and the Wyld Hunt waits for a different reason. They muster their forces outside with hungry anticipation. Soon, it will be time. Soon, soon.
It's as the Hunt begins to push close, to anxiously claw at the protections surrounding the temple, that Ignatius emerges. He's gotten the oaths of those that would take him up on his offer of protection, and now all that's left is to act. He leaps from an opening up at the top of the tower, hitting the ground with raw vulcanic force, sending out waves of energy that pierce the Hunt's ranks like an elemental force of nature. It gets their attention, anyway.
Ignatius pounds the earth, and then raises his food to pound it again, sending out another warning shockwave. He summons a glaive of flame between his hands, swirling it about in a demonstration of force.
"Call for you master!" he shouts to the horde. "I am Ignatius, Lord of Conflagration and general of the Summer Court." He points the glaive towards the assembly of beasts and beings that surround them, with no fear in his presentation. "I require the ear of your Horned God, the Great Hunter, to settle business with the Courts."
There is the rumble of voices, some dubious and some otherwise, as the Hunt reacts to Ignatius's demands. He knows already, though, that whether or not they ask for the Huntsman is irrelevant. Them witnessing him here will get the message across just fine, informing their master of his presence just by acknowledging him.
A motley of Wyld Fae circle in closer, looking at Ignatius with suspicious eyes as he waits for a response. One of them, a Hyrdra, speaks from its multiple heads.
"This one..." it says softly, watching him close. "The Fiery One."
Ignatius doesn't speak, he merely regards the beasts in kind, keeping his stance asserting but unaggressive. He is not yet looking for a fight, and there will be time to speak shortly.
no subject
In between his connections to the Summer Court and the Silver Mirror, he radiates a whole bunch of bizarre magical energy that's probably confusing some members of the Hunt. But Strange isn't really doing anything at the moment. Instead, he's using his elevated position to scan the various hordes of the Wild Hunt, concentrating and looking for something.

HOLLOWS OF THE HUNT
And that is when a group of powerful Hollows, led by a monstrous and intelligent Adjuchas-class Menos, join the fray. They spread out, seeking individual quarry, and believing that the Beast’s changelings would be just like any other mortals — completely unable to see them coming.
Fortunately for the Carnival, they’re quite wrong about that. Unfortunately, these beasts have more tricks up their sleeves than just being invisible usually. Hollows are the premiere predators of their world, and it was no coincidence that they had joined the Hunt.
There was prey to be had.
[ooc: FISH HERE. There are SIX Hollows, including their leader. People who post will be RNG’d for one of them! Each has their own unique powers and skills. If anyone needs rescuing, Zangetsu will be tracking these monsters specifically, and is available!]

Trouble is, she's just not easy to find, and he has hunters and Shabon workers to dodge in the meantime. He draws Pig up short, the Pokemon as unflappable as ever, and stops at the edge of an alleyway, looking around warily.
"Ringmaster!" he calls, like he's done every few minutes since he came out here. He doesn't expect much of a response.
