And more importantly, it's at least reasonably feasible for a tiny girl with one broken arm to hold onto. To demonstrate, he lets the noodle's tip wiggle towards her. Very, very lightly, unless she moves out of the way, he touches it to her forehead.
It'll feel a bit like someone just took a finger and flicked it very hard against her head.
