⇨ AGENTS HAVE ARRIVED [CLOSED PLOT]

Who: Tamaki, Childermass, Carly, Susan, Peridot, and Sherlock. And AGENTS.
Where: Inside The Matrix.
When: D28
What: The Agents have been watching your activities over the last week, and they’ve decided it’s time to act.
Warnings: Violence and most likely body horror.

THE ABDUCTION

The visitors have not be subtle in their intrusions, and for a time the Agents have held back, analysing the true effects of these new entities before deciding to make a move. But now, their patience has run out. The source of this infection must be found, and eliminated, or else the whole system could be dragged apart.

These aren’t just the rebelling humans. These are something else.

[OOC: Tamaki, Childermass, and Carly were selected from the danger raffle to be fully abducted by Agents. Susan, Peridot, and Sherlock will be attacked by Agents, but will escape when Resistance members intervene. Please make a top level below with your characters doing something in the Matrix that is relatively secluded from big crowds of people, as that is when the Agents would most likely strike.

You can bring other characters along if you like for the initial confrontations, though only the selected characters will actually be captured by Agents. Any injuries sustained in these fights will equally damage character’s real physical forms, no matter how damage resistant they may normally be. Unless they are bending the Matrix to use their powers or to alter it with One powers, they will be as vulnerable as a normal human.

Agents and Resistance members will be played by the mods in this log.]

They ignore him completely.

"Come with us."

So talking it out is going to be useless, too. Fine. He'll make no other attempts, either to talk to them or struggle with them, but he's also not going to move along at all unless they make him. It's just silent staring from here on out.

They agent who's grabbing his rest moves to grab his arm, it's easier to lead people like that. The two men move forward, expecting Childermass to move with them. When he doesn't the one without the gun growls in frustration. It's pointless to threaten the human, it always is. His grip tightens on Childermass' arm, painfully.

"Cooperate and I won't need to break your arm."

So damn pointless to threaten the human. Even with that, the tightening grip on his arm drawing a grimace, Childermass remains resolute in being stubborn, bracing himself for what's coming next. He's already decided to make this difficult for them, he may as well follow through.

What's coming isn't quite what he expects. At his continued refusal the agents look to each other. They nod in agreement. The first agent speaks again, sighing loudly as he pulls back a fist. He lets it go, punching Childermass in the stomach hard.

"Cooperation really was in your best interest." He says blandly as agent number two grabs onto Childermass' shoulder, there's the stab of a needle in his neck and then the world begins to go dark.

"Pathetic creatures."

On one hand, there's some grim satisfaction in calling their bluff on the previous threat. On the other, that's very short-lived, what with the first agent doubling him over with that punch. That earns a surprised breath of air out of him, but little else thanks to the sharp pain in his neck.

He makes one small effort to stand back up, to straighten out, but that doesn't get far as his vision blurs and fades and he finds himself crumpling to the concrete walkway instead.
