Who: Ginko and Foster (and Steven and Greg and Psi)
When: October 18th
Where: Foster’s apartment
What: Foster helps Ginko with his fae flower problem.
Warnings: Mind control, probably talk of attempted kidnapping?? Also like. Eye socket trauma.
It takes well over an hour for Ginko to wake up from the effects of the pollen - plenty of time for Foster to remove him from the park and take the necessary precautions.
When he wakes up, it takes him a few moments to realize that he’s not where he had been before. Rather than lying facedown in the park, his face shoved into the dirt and his skull feeling like it’s breaking apart, he’s on his back on an actual bed, with his skull feeling like it’s just cracking a little… which would be an improvement, if it weren’t for two factors.
He’s got no idea where Steven is, and he can’t move his arms.
Or… well, he can. But not very far, or effectively; his wrists are cuffed to the bed, and no amount of pulling against the cuffs seems to be loosening them up. He looks around frantically, trying to get some idea of how he could free himself - or even how this happened to begin with.

Fine then. You just want to leave him tied up here for the rest of the day?

But, frankly, Ginko is also not really keen on the idea of watching his best friend and his sort-of-boyfriend fuck, even if he... already knew they tended to do that. Shit, does he even have room to be upset about it if they do? He's the one who made a move knowing they had something going on, and even if Psi doesn't consider it a romantic relationship, it's still something and he didn't talk to Foster about it or--
Shit okay. Okay, paying attention to what's actually going on. He relaxes a little when Psi steps back.]
I'd... really appreciate that not being what happens.
Me @ me: could you have BEEN any more excessively wordy last tag
But he manages to laugh, albeit a bit breathlessly.]
Why not? Your every need taken care of... I could get someone to fan you and hand-feed you grapes.
[He glances just briefly at the demon when he says it, but he lets both his gaze and the joke drop, his smile fading in favour of a heavy-lidded, detached sort of look as he turns to Ginko and Ginko alone.]
Ginko, who is Steven?
no subject
I don't want anyone hand-feeding me grapes. [That's WEIRD, Foster.
He hesitates a moment before answering.] ...He's another changeling. He-- [Another moment of hesitation, wondering how much he should say. Maybe he owes it to Foster, after all this trouble, but... maybe he also owes it to Steven not to spread news of his parentage around.] The Rose Queen wants him back. And she knows he trusts me.
...Trusted me.

This is pointless.
no subject
[That's directed to Psi, but his tone is totally devoid of rancour. It's almost conversational.]
And so your plan was you were gonna kidnap him from his dad and bring him back to her?
[He sounds not a little critical.]
no subject
I... guess so. I don't know if I had a plan, I just... felt like I needed to take him somewhere. ...Probably to the gardens, if I'd gotten hold of him.
[Really, he's just glad he didn't actually have a functional plan.]
no subject
[Foster grows pensive.
The problem is that even admitting that much doesn't clear Ginko of suspicion. He doesn't sound as fixated as he did before the rose was burnt out (if he's being blunt, Ginko was idiotically transparent) but that doesn't rule out the possibility that the fae influence is subtler now. Or that Ginko is subtler now. Craftier.
Which... isn't a very Ginko trait, honestly. But neither is kidnapping children to deliver them to the fae.
He sighs, rubbing his face with his hands as he tries to focus--and ignore his desperate, insistent arousal.
God, he just wants to grab that sleeve off his dresser and lock himself in the bathroom with it. For an hour, at least. This is too hard right now.
.... hah. Hard.]
no subject
...If you're going to keep me here, could one of you... bring Miu here or something?
[He can't exactly hold her like this, but if he's going to be stuck in Foster's room for who knows how long, he'd at least like to have his pet around.]

no subject
...Yeah. I know, it's... it's kind of a ways away. Sorry, it's... not like it's that important, I guess.
no subject
Really?
[....wait.]
What did you want us to do with her, just... I don't know, plop her down on your chest and let her shuffle around?
no subject
[He makes another attempt to kind of shift away from them both. He's chosen a different corner to stare at now.]
Sorry, just-- forget I said anything. It was a dumb idea.
no subject
Just come home with me and you'll see her.
no subject
[Foster lets his hands drop to his sides, looking tired and drawn and... almost angry, if it's possible to look angry and defeated simultaneously.]
No. Just... just... go.
[Only Ginko would care that much about seeing his guinea pig at a time like this. No--more than that, only Ginko would prioritise that over his own freedom, and there's nothing he can do anyway if he's wrong--there's nothing else to set on fire, no obvious fae interference he can object to. There's nothing he can do about any of this.
All he's doing is making himself and everyone else miserable.
So fine.
He stalks over to his dresser, grabbing the sleeve that's been sitting there this whole time, not looking at either one of them.]
Go home, have fun. Don't kidnap any more children. Do whatever.
[Oh God he wants it so bad.]
Don't forget to use protection.
[And with that, he shuts the door a bit hard on his way out--he's going to lock himself in the bathroom, and he's not bothering to free Ginko first.
Their uninvited third party knows how to undo the cuffs anyway.]
