What: It's time to play with the Wardrobe's new tools...and for people to get Fittings done.

It isn't long into the first official day 'back to work', that a relatively loud public announcement comes out on the radios. And for those who aren't listening on the radios, Carly has sent her trusty pokemon, Nuna to go and deliver small flyers to any employee she runs into. People who refuse may find themselves heckled by a ghostly fire-whielding lizard.

Regardless-the announcement goes as follows.

"Everyone! Now that we're back to work, there's a lot of things to get back on track with! First, I know a lot of us have had some new changes...and a lot of us are new too! So hello, new people! Regardless, I need everyone-and I mean EVERYONE, even if you haven't had any changes recently-to drop by the Wardrobe tent at some point this week.

"This is because we have a new tool for fittings now~ It's a shapeshifting mannequin, which will make getting everyone their clothes a lot faster! But it needs to actually be exposed to the person it's matching size with, so think of it as one last check-in before you grow wings or something like that alright? If you don't come in, you're not going to find anything fitting you, so make sure you come in..!!" This isn't entirely true, in the case of people she's already fitted, but...hey. Don't leave her hanging.

The Wardrobe Tent isn't hard to find-around the back end of the Big Top, it's where any performer has to pass through before actually performing after all. Decked out with streams and bolts of fabric of all sorts, and definintely something of a controlled chaotic mess, there is a particularly large space cleared up for people entering this time around. The Mannequin, faceless and default, stands ready.

As does at least one member of the Wardrobe Team who actually bother with cloth. If it's Carly, expect a warm, and somewhat excitable welcome, as well as a wave. Nui? An even more excitable welcome. Maybe even too excited, she's just so...Happy? (And yet somehow, Carly probably seems more giddy about it...)

Julien-presumably the human one at least-is far more contained then both, suffice to say, but either way their greeting all boils down to one thing.

Are you here for your fitting, then? Well let's get Started.

There is one new addition to the Wardrobe Tent in particular that those under Carly's employ will notice-a very, VERY large ...Thing. "Okay!" Carly explains to everyone, as many times as it takes, in as many different instances as there are. Not everyone is going to crowd around a machine like a pack of curious dogs after all-knowing her crew? It'll largely be in...Individual encounters. Regardless!

She's excited. "This is our new recycling machine~! ...Er. Sort of. This," she explains, holding up a set of transcribed instructions, "Is a '3D Printer'! It takes the materials we put inside, and makes the product as we desire. For things like costumes, this....isn't a good idea," Carly notes, coughing. "Nothing beats our own hands for that..! But when it comes to getting fabric sheets, or even decorations, it's perfect~ We can finally make use of our scrap bin, or even our old make up~! So what do you think we should try thowing in first?"

This is a good question and can't possibly end badly, nope.

(Have a custom matter to be dealt with? Aside from doing necessary and simple touch-ups as requested, the Wardrobe Tent also does Extra things...provided of course, some compensation for the Carnival to replace the materials is given. Most of the time, Costumes and coming acts are the main focus for detailed work, but with things starting off again, a small project or two isn't out of the question-so come on in, and ask one of the tailors about what you need done!)

"It will soooooon~!" That, no doubt, is a very familiar voice. Carly comes swooping in with a grin as wide as the sun, the rest of her no doubt as bright. "It's really neat~! And it'll make getting costumes for you and the others made way easier! From now on, whenever you get a new change, you'll just have to drop in for a quick update and be on your way! No more coming back and forth except to try on a final outfit~"

One would think that the matter of it being comfortable would come up, but that's Also what the mannequin is for.

"Here, here-" she insists, beaming. "Just stand in front of it, and watch the magic~!"

That must happen a lot, Yuya just doesn't have any personal experience--he's yet to have a change that restricts his clothing in any manner.

Still, he does what he's told and stands in front of the mannequin, staring at it. It's... a little creepy just in its nature, looking very fake-person and Yuya's realizing he's probably not terribly fond of mannequins. Being naked makes it a little worse, somehow.

"Ok...Mannequin~! Do your thing~!" she cheers, and abruptly, the thing nods.

"Absolutely~" it replies, in a somewhat stilted, obviously programmed voice. After first straightening itself, it soon starts to shrink down in some ways-until it's of equal height, and general bulk (or lack, rather) to Yuuya.

It proceeds to continue standing there. "Tadah~! Oh oh, and watch- We need an Excited pose, Mannequin! Pump a fist, half jump, go!"

The Mannequin can't jump, but it can certainly look like it's stuck mid leap, and with one fist in the air, it...does look as lame as it would bending a normal one into position.

But hey, it helps the fittings. "Ok, back to normal position now," she decides, turning back to Yuuya. "See what I mean?"

It talks--and the choppy, inorganic movement elevates it from kind of creepy to really creepy. Yuya recoils with a disturbed expression as the mannequin changes and poses.

"Uh... yeah. So that's it?"

"Yep~!" ....Oh, she caught that look though. "............Are you alright though..? It's nothing to worry about..!!"

Yuya waves his hand dismissively as he turns around, offering Carly a sheepish smile. "I'm fine!" He won't call her mannequin creepy, but it's definitely creepy.

"Like I said, nothing else changed that shouldn't make my costume fit, so I don't think I need anything new."

"Phew..." Oh thank goodness...the thing CAN be creepy, but its sheer use just makes that so easy to ignore... "That's good then~! Now that it has your measurements, this will make costuming really fast... ...AH-"

A cough. "You should tell it what kinds of things are comfortable though-otherwise, it might not act accordingly..!"

"Act accordingly...?" Yuya raises an eyebrow. It doesn't have his sense of touch, so how's it really going to know.

"The one I have right now is comfortable. If I need a new one, making it like that is fine." He's not terribly invested in the fashion aspect of this. It's Carly's job so he's going to trust her judgement.

"......." Yuuya...

"Yuuyaaaaaa.... ...you can't just wear the same costume for an act, in every location..!!" Carly protests. "There's places where that just won't work at all..! Imagine if there was a place where your colours were insulting!!" That's a bit extreme, but, fair.

"Anyway...certain fabrics have certain textures, right? So for now, the mannequin can keep in mind that the fabric from your last costume is 'comfortable', and go from there~!"

Yuya would argue it's worked fine so far, but when he thinks about it he's been involved in relatively few performances since joining. The carnival just seems to have a way to find trouble instead.

But he still pouts a little, putting his hands on his hips. "But I don't know what all of them are, so I can't know what's uncomfortable without trying it. I guess just not anything itchy?"

Believe her, Yuuya-the same costume just doesn't cut it after a while. Get some variety in there..!

"It's something we can update, so there's no worry about it really! We'll avoid any abrasive fabrics though," she hums, nodding. Anyway. "So...how was your holiday~?"

"Oh-- it was fun! Thanks again for helping with the sash." Yuya grins, suitably distracted with the change in topic. "You had fun too, right?"

He can't imagine anyone having an actually bad time on the moon. Maybe bad from lingering trauma, but the trip itself was suitably relaxed and enjoyable.

"Of course I did..!!!" she immediately insists, as though the question were more accusation than anything. "I did lots of things in the snow, and took lots of walks, and drank lots of things!"

CARLY-

"And-" she switches gears, smiling widely. "Ahhh~ I had fun making it, after all~! And did they like it? Your friend, I mean?"

Yuya laughs. Carly's an adult, so he's not surprised she'd be drinking. There was a lot of alcohol at the feasts--more than he thought since he accidentally got into it himself.

"He did," Yuya's smile brightly. "I don't think he took it off once while we were on the moon! It's really special to him."

And Yuya sounds so proud about that, like it's just as special to him. At least, the memory of giving it is.

"Ahh~ Really?" Oh, well that just makes the woman brighten! Not painfully so, but she's definitely, literally brighter. "How wonderful~! And you have plenty of extra in case he ever runs into anything, or something get's lost, right?"

Yuya squints briefly as Carly gets brighter. "Yeah, I kept the fabric. But I think he'll be careful not to ruin it."

Gongenzaka is a more careful person than Yuya, anyway. But you never know, and if anything it means Yuya has material to make him something else in the future. "Anyway, I owe you, so just tell me next time you need help with something and I'll do it."

"Good, good...there's lots of things that can happen here, even if you're careful after all, so.."

Oh! She flusters, stammering. "AAAa-AAA-aAAAAAH!! It's fine..!! Helping with these things is my job, you know..!"

"Helping the carnival is your job, not personal stuff." He shrugs. "And you were on vacation, so I can at least do the same for you. It's not a big deal!"

"And helping the Carnival can be the most personal thing there is~" she counters, beaming. "Trust me...you weren't causing me any delays or troubles on my vacation! And I've been here a while!" A while is only like, 3 and a half years granted, but still.

"But...I guess I'll keep it in mind.." She's never calling you on this favor never never neverrrrr-
