What: It's time to play with the Wardrobe's new tools...and for people to get Fittings done.

It isn't long into the first official day 'back to work', that a relatively loud public announcement comes out on the radios. And for those who aren't listening on the radios, Carly has sent her trusty pokemon, Nuna to go and deliver small flyers to any employee she runs into. People who refuse may find themselves heckled by a ghostly fire-whielding lizard.

Regardless-the announcement goes as follows.

"Everyone! Now that we're back to work, there's a lot of things to get back on track with! First, I know a lot of us have had some new changes...and a lot of us are new too! So hello, new people! Regardless, I need everyone-and I mean EVERYONE, even if you haven't had any changes recently-to drop by the Wardrobe tent at some point this week.

"This is because we have a new tool for fittings now~ It's a shapeshifting mannequin, which will make getting everyone their clothes a lot faster! But it needs to actually be exposed to the person it's matching size with, so think of it as one last check-in before you grow wings or something like that alright? If you don't come in, you're not going to find anything fitting you, so make sure you come in..!!" This isn't entirely true, in the case of people she's already fitted, but...hey. Don't leave her hanging.

The Wardrobe Tent isn't hard to find-around the back end of the Big Top, it's where any performer has to pass through before actually performing after all. Decked out with streams and bolts of fabric of all sorts, and definintely something of a controlled chaotic mess, there is a particularly large space cleared up for people entering this time around. The Mannequin, faceless and default, stands ready.

As does at least one member of the Wardrobe Team who actually bother with cloth. If it's Carly, expect a warm, and somewhat excitable welcome, as well as a wave. Nui? An even more excitable welcome. Maybe even too excited, she's just so...Happy? (And yet somehow, Carly probably seems more giddy about it...)

Julien-presumably the human one at least-is far more contained then both, suffice to say, but either way their greeting all boils down to one thing.

Are you here for your fitting, then? Well let's get Started.

There is one new addition to the Wardrobe Tent in particular that those under Carly's employ will notice-a very, VERY large ...Thing. "Okay!" Carly explains to everyone, as many times as it takes, in as many different instances as there are. Not everyone is going to crowd around a machine like a pack of curious dogs after all-knowing her crew? It'll largely be in...Individual encounters. Regardless!

She's excited. "This is our new recycling machine~! ...Er. Sort of. This," she explains, holding up a set of transcribed instructions, "Is a '3D Printer'! It takes the materials we put inside, and makes the product as we desire. For things like costumes, this....isn't a good idea," Carly notes, coughing. "Nothing beats our own hands for that..! But when it comes to getting fabric sheets, or even decorations, it's perfect~ We can finally make use of our scrap bin, or even our old make up~! So what do you think we should try thowing in first?"

This is a good question and can't possibly end badly, nope.

(Have a custom matter to be dealt with? Aside from doing necessary and simple touch-ups as requested, the Wardrobe Tent also does Extra things...provided of course, some compensation for the Carnival to replace the materials is given. Most of the time, Costumes and coming acts are the main focus for detailed work, but with things starting off again, a small project or two isn't out of the question-so come on in, and ask one of the tailors about what you need done!)

May have been the wrong thing to say. "Unnecessary..!? If anything, you're leaving me less work..!! It's hard enough to get people to come here at all, but people not letting me know about even the simple things..!? Clothes are important! And bedclothes, and sheets, and towels..." She's listing things off, but regardless- "Even the little things. I want to know about those..!"

...Also.

"Of course! I even have a few bolts for myself... ....which I'm supposed to use...for myself, I guess." It's. Not too hard to tell that she was rather surprised by the gifts and is thus, Stuck.

His eyes go a little wide, not quite expecting that sort of intensity about her work.

"I-in that case, I will need at least one casual outfit, and bedding and linens."

Is he supposed to suggest... themes? Or patterns? He doesn't know. There hasn't ever been a lot of money in his life, and Yukio buys things he likes if he finds them and can afford them, but he doesn't own much.

Is he supposed to ask for underwear? That... he feels like that should be implied.

Fortunately, that's enough. "Hahhhhh...thank goodness... ...I'm assuming you want something to sleep in though, other than just bedding..? You'll have a roommate after all," she reminds him, raising an eyebrow.

"Do I have to list out everything?" Please. Please don't make him say the word 'underwear' in front of, well, you. He'll do it and he'll do it professionally, but he'll die a little on the inside. "I assumed some things were implied."

You know, like pajamas and socks and underwear and undershirts to wear under button-down shirts.

"Underclothes are implied," she replies curtly, and whelp, at least he won't have to die inside. "But people from different worlds have all kinds of preferences...!! Even just within one world, things are different..! I can't know what everyone wants or needs, unless they're precise!"

He sighs, absolutely clearly relieved by the fact that he doesn't have to discuss his underwear preferences with a very enthusiastic woman. Look, he may be a licensed Exorcist and a teacher but he's also a first year highschool student and there are some things he's just not ready to handle yet.

And now that they've covered the 'dancing around talking about underwear' topic, he's much more forthcoming.

"For professional clothing I believe kahki slacks and plain, light colored button down shirts are ideal. I would also like two white lab coats, but I have no preference on the length. I don't anticipate needing much when it comes to casual clothing, but something like a tee-shirt would be nice to have, as well as something to wear if we visit a location with cooler weather. I prefer loose pants and shirts for sleeping in, and would like at least one set of pajamas. I would like two sets of sheets and towels, if possible."

One can practically hear the 'mmmhmm...mmmhmmm...' as she mentally takes notes-with all of these specifics though...

"...Perfect~" She's quite appeased. "When it comes to really casual things, if you plan on working a lot, you'll definitely have the chance to get more if you ever need it-lots of places we visit have basic glamors, or none at all....so since we normally get an allowance at each stop, that means people generally buy little things like t-shirts anyway. So one is more than enough for your casual at this point!" That said-

"Mm, and warmer clothes...." ............................wait you're in a c-

"....How warm would you say your current coat is?"

"We get an allowance? What do we have to do to earn it?" Yukio... he really wasn't expecting more money, what he'd gotten for presents was an absolutely massive sum and an allowance just doesn't fit in with his view of demon contracts. He'd signed a contract to work for a year, and of course he'd assumed all the payment was included in that one wish.

But then there's also the matter of his coat.

"My coat is warm enough, I can just wear this."

But... no, he's already asking a lot of her, something casual and warm isn't necessary.

"MMm, that's all I needed to know~ Now I know how heavy a coat to make..~!" CARLY

Regardless. "Of course! It's not as much as we had on the moon obviously..! That would be crazy! It's just a little bit, so that we can enjoy wherever we've stopped for a bit! Enough to get a little souvenir, have some burgers, see the sights...that kind of thing~!"

[reflash]

"Really?" Yukio asks, disbelieving. "I... I don't mean to be rude, I just wasn't expecting that from someone like the Ringmaster."

He's someone who grew up without very much money, and his salary back home goes incredibly quickly with the expenses of day-to-day school and exorcism life.

Carly just nods. "The Ringmaster is....Really lenient, among the fae! She just wants to show people a good time, and get things hyped up and going..!" the woman explains, pumping a fist for emphasis. "She's not here for slavery, or anything like that..! ...She wants Fun! It's what she lives for!" Possibly literally, not that she would know.

"She can definitely have her hiccups but...for the most part, it means she's really considerate about these sorts of things..." More than her human boss was, even.

Fun. And 'fun' has absolutely nothing to do with 'nice' or 'good' or even 'unwilling to hurt you', but it does explain the allowances.

"Everyone I've spoken to seems to think of her as a reasonable person."

He's testing the waters, not going to 'trust' right away.

"Mmhmm! The fact is, you can't really have people having fun if they're not...happy," she points out, shrugging. "...Well, you could brainwash them but...that's just hollow. It's not 'real', right?"

[reflash]

"That's right," he agrees, remembering a busy town and an empty shopping mall. "I'm glad the Ringmaster is kinder than that."

"Exactly~" Anyway. "She's more into the spontaneity of things anyway, so this lends really great to that I'm pretty sure!"

Boy, would it EVER....

[reflash]

"It sounds like it would." Yukio... is not into the spontaneity of things, especially not when it comes to demons.

"Well..." She coughs, getting back to...the point. Whatever it was. "Mmm, in any case, other than mannequin assimilating... ...I guess that's all we need~! Just having your general size and measurments should work fine, especially with the list you gave! There shouldn't be any fabric troubles at all now~! ...Oh!" A pause.

"Actually, could I look over your sleeve quickly..? Just to get an idea of what your fabric is, in case we run into something like it at some other location..."

[reflash]

"Of course." He says, and then holds out his arm for Carly to inspect. He can take the whole thing off, if she needs it, but there are a lot of buttons to undo. It's a heavy black fabric, the sort of canvas you might expect from a construction worker's coveralls. There's nothing fancy about it other than that, it's a uniform designed to take some beating but also not to be too expensive to replace.

"Hmmmmm..." Well, just the sleeve is fine-she does run a thumb and finger over it, but not much else. She knows what she's doing after all.

"Are there any charms in it? Or is it just the fabric?"
