When: Day 115
Where: Polaris
What: On the morning of day 115, a couple hours before the technicians would come to pick up the test subjects, the escape plan will officially come into effect. If your character has been left out of the loop up till this point, feel free that someone hastily explains the plan during the initial phase! The meat of everything else will be played out via megathreads and any private toplevels people want to make.
Warnings: Probably violence.

PEER REVIEW↴ The plan starts with getting everyone out of their cells. Childermass is going to be using his Gilded Mark to enhance his shadow movement abilities, unabling him to teleport himself and other people out of containment. If your character has other ways of escaping they are free to pursue that, but on a base level, it can be assumed that everyone gets out thanks to Childermass. (Thanks Childermass!) Once everyone has been removed from their cells by some means or another, they will be forced to split into teams as swiftly as possible, as the moment people start breaking out, negative attention from the staff will start building. The area is poorly guarded at first, but as people become aware of the breakout, more will arrive. Gild, speaking on behalf of her inside plant, will say that those that 1) want to get their stuff back, 2) want to find Ignatius, should get the assistance of their allied Deltas to access sector A5. From there, they will have to access Polaris's storage in A3, a neighbouring sector, and find access to C2, the station where Ignatius is being held. They should expect to be met with armed resistance, but with any luck allies will be there to assist them. In general, characters will be most effective if they back one of these major objectives: ► TEAM LOOT: This team is trying to get back the items and pets that were confiscated when the group was brought into Polaris. Their objective, according to their allies on the inside, is to get to A5, and then make their way to A3. The important thing is being able to locate their stuff among a sea of other items, and to make it through security in order to reclaim it. Gild's plant has said that they will assist with this. After getting these items, Team Loot may wish to merge with Team Rescue. ► TEAM RESCUE: This team's primary focus is to get to A5 and then make their way to C2. If desired, they may wait for or join with Team Loot, or they may strike out ahead in order to take advantage of the element of surprise. The key factors are obtaining a way to access C2, as well as being prepared for armed conflict with the technicians guarding it, as well as possibly the Mother of Invention herself. Though, the ideal is that Gild will be distracting here at that time. ► TEAM DISTRACTION: This team can do their thing wherever they please, as their main intent is to sew general discord and distract the staff from the teams doing more important things. They should be prepared for armed resistance, but what tactics they pursue beyond that point are highly variable. ► TEAM FORTRESS: This team is attempting to set up a protective base of operations in the original sector in order to survive the conflict and protect their noncombatant comrades. How they accomplish this is also highly variable. Other objectives may exist, of course, and can be made with their own separate top levels. Chunks of these megathreads will have to be played out in summary form, so when characters are simply trying to get from place to place and specifics aren't necessary, feel free to stick to that format. Assume that everyone is already out of their cells for the purpose of the megathreads. Here is a shitty map of how the sectors connect, from a side view of the central Polaris hub.

By the next morning of things, Reira- being destined for the duty of sticking around the apartments while all of the settling down goes on- is nicely showered, cleaned up, and once again wearing her cut-apart beta shirt. It's nice, in her opinion.

Reira even has a bit of a job with the injured- just little things, like asking how they are, or getting them water, or something. Stuff she can do.

Naturally this also means that while she initially grins and prepares to call Syrlya's name upon her entry, the grin quickly drops as she blinks. "...I don't know. I just came here. ...It's probably okay though."

Reassuring...

Well... he supposes they aren't telling her that much about whatever organization and clean up they're doing? He actually doesn't know, but there's no point pressing if she's ignorant.

"Better than before, at least." He absently flexes his crystal hand. "You've been helping Doctor West, haven't you?"

Of course they aren't. They'll have said they're fixing things, it's fine, and gone on their way. That's just how it gets to be with her- she's been over this, Syrlya.

Reira nods though. "Yeah. Doctor Herbert and Yukio are showing me how to do some things, like help with bandages...for if they get too busy," she adds. It's not a bad idea- between those two, and Steven for that matter, things probably get stretched rather thin. Someone to handle the minor things is handy.

"I am sure they appreciate it." Because it's a small medical team, and a bunch of people got their shit beat in that fight. He glances around the area absently, but since he's really one of the worst off most people have probably found some mobility by the second day.

"I take it you were not hurt, then?" Reira's one of the carnival civilians, and those he's usually more worried about being an unfortunate casualty.

She shakes her head. "...I've been in here the whole time. I talked to some of the technicians we tied up, and told them it would be okay too," she adds conversationally, moving to take a seat somewhere, "But mostly they didn't believe me. I think they believe me now though."

She thinks. Thinks. Anyway. "Umn! Do you need stuff though? Like water?"

"They will need time." Much like those in the Manor needed time to grasp and come to terms with their sudden, newfound freedom.

Otherwise, though, he shakes his head. "I am all right for now, thank you."

"...Time to stop thinking it's fake and that we have to do 'trials' again?" Because seriously, that's Super Dumb.

Anyway. She nods. "Mnh. Okay." ...

"Will the blue go away?" She's not really sure if that's a temporary thing or not. The arm probably isn't, she supposes. But maybe the rest is?

Syrlya pauses, looking down at his hand--the non crystal one, where the once teal tips have changed to a cold blue.

"I... suppose that would depend if the influence of the Blue Rose can be properly removed from me." It's a result of its will exerting onto him, after all. Normally he would have more control of his appearance, but he can't overtake the Blue Rose any more than the carnival's changes.

He offers Reira a reassuring smile. "But don't worry. It is not hurting me."

"...The Blue Rose?" She's heard about it? ...She didn't realize it was doing this though. She doesn't look especially worried, but she does seem to study him a little more before nodding. "Mnh. Okay. Not even when you move a certain way, right?" Look, she's gotta ask. That one arm looks kinda gnarly.

[chronosynthesis]

"No, not even then." Everything else hurts if he moves a certain way, though. Luckily the arm itself is still in much the same shape, just... made of crystal up through halfway into his chest. It's kind of weird how despite the stiff texture, he can still move it like normal.

"But thank you."

[soft_focus]

"Phew." Well, she'll just sigh in relief then. "Mnh! That's good. I can't do some things anymore, because of my trial, so it's good to make sure. Do you think you'll feel better soon?"

"I should." He hopes, because he can't afford to be off his feet for long. At least they have Steven's magic healing.
