A. I'm not anyone's pet! (Sherlock's and Gon's Trailer)

There was a very colorful, small lizard sitting angrily on top of a table in the trailer. How could a chameleon be sitting angrily?

Yet somehow, it was.

Sherlock was not happy, and that was putting it lightly.

It had taken him an age to even get over here. Slow, methodical climbing and steps. For a man as impatient as he, it was nothing less than sheer agony. Not to mention the horror he was slowly trying to and failing to get over. He tried to run away from the Carnival, yes, but this-this in return for...this was impossible, improbable, and yet it happened. He wasn't even the least bit human save for his mind. And even that was filled with weird instincts.

He was a lizard. He thought he was upset before about his scales but this was a million, billion times worse. He was just this small little thing with weird eyes and a weird tail and--oh no.

Before he could stop himself his tongue shot out and snatched a fly out of midair. It crunched in his mouth a millisecond later. Worst of all, it tasted great to him.

AAAAAAARGHHHHHHHHH--

B. Lunchtime

There was a small greenish, red, and yellow chameleon slowly changing colors and sitting on top of a ladle next to the food for everyone.

Just staring, occasionally looking with one independent eye, then another. Every so often his tongue would shoot out and grab a fly.

He really liked flies okay?

C. I'm a man, blast it!

It was painstaking, but he did it. It literally took him several hours and a nap. But he did it. A pen in his mouth and a piece of paper. He began dragging the paper through the Carnival, wishing to show it to anyone who met him.

The note said:

I am Sherlock Holmes. I am not an ordinary chameleon. Please help.

PS. Do not pet me. I will bite.

D. Wildcard! Feel free to start any situation!

[Aside from the fact that he's smarter than that, do you think it'd do much to him? also enjoy the glowing blood if you manage to break skin in that scenario]

....You have no one to blame but yourself. [He's not getting involved in this Sherlock. He's not. He even opened the tank for you, so that you can climb out, and this is the thanks he gets?

[Okay, maybe he did have no one to blame but himself but still that shouldn't warrant being a bloody lizard!

He turned an ugly shade of orange and brown and glared at him, daring him to reach a finger in.

Come on Gon, do it.]

[Sir he may be enormous but he is not a FOOL.]

...If you do not intend to take advantage of this, I am closing the lid again.

[Ugh. FINE. Sherlock turns a more calm shade of blue and starts to try to climb out. His weird little sideways claws trying to grip on whatever he can. He slowly...slllllloooooowwwwwwwllllyyyyy...makes his way to the top and huffed petulantly when he go there.]

[You'll get there when you get there, right? Right?

Yeah.

Anyway.] The trailer is warm enough for you at the moment, right?

[Fiiiiinnnnallly he makes it to the top.]

[A nod and he turns a bit more of an amiable shade of green. He looks up at Gon with his weird independent eyes.]

[That's better. Now then.] That will be a yes, I assume...

On that note then, I, the man Gongenzaka, assume Sans was notified, so that you aren't reported 'missing' for work..?

[A huffy sigh and a roll of his big eyes. Sans was the one who dropped him off at the Ringmaster's. It was his fault he was even in this mess, having tracked him down in the woods.

So not fair.]

...Aah, that is another yes, then.

Well... [Hmmmm. He sighs.] I, the man Gongenzaka, suppose that the least I could do is ask if there were errands you intended to run... [He's gonna check out the fridge in the meantime.

There better not be another head in here, you ass-]

[There's a finger on a plate.

Don't ask how he got it. Plus it isn't too bloody, so yay?

Can chameleons laugh? Probably not, but this one's grinning.]

wait] ....Where did you get this...we are visiting a digitized realm, you cannot bring anything back...

[Suddenly he has reason to be Alarmingly Suspicious again.]

[Good question. It will never be answered.]

[The chameleon shrugs, and just grins at him again. Good luck with your roommate. He's probably not a serial killer in his original realm. Probably.]

[............He's not sure what to believe. Or think.

Or anything about this really. He merely closes the fridge, very slowly.]

....You will need to feed yourself today, as a note.

[There's an audible huffy sigh from the lizard.

Honestly.

Okay. Fine.

The detective-chameleon stuck his tongue out towards a nearby buzzing fly. He snapped it up with a crunch when his tongue retracted and glared at Gon.]

[betheman]

[..............Huh.

Well that happened.] .................I, the man Gongenzaka, shall have to find a source of those soon I suppose...

[The little lizard shrugged and shook his head a bit enthusiastically.

The flies tasted really good, Gon. Let the trash fester for a little longer, please and thanks.

The question was, were those flies because of Sherlock's messiness?
