[closed] i have made mistakes
Who: Ginko and Foster (and Steven and Greg and Psi)
When: October 18th
Where: Foster’s apartment
What: Foster helps Ginko with his fae flower problem.
Warnings: Mind control, probably talk of attempted kidnapping?? Also like. Eye socket trauma.
It takes well over an hour for Ginko to wake up from the effects of the pollen - plenty of time for Foster to remove him from the park and take the necessary precautions.
When he wakes up, it takes him a few moments to realize that he’s not where he had been before. Rather than lying facedown in the park, his face shoved into the dirt and his skull feeling like it’s breaking apart, he’s on his back on an actual bed, with his skull feeling like it’s just cracking a little… which would be an improvement, if it weren’t for two factors.
He’s got no idea where Steven is, and he can’t move his arms.
Or… well, he can. But not very far, or effectively; his wrists are cuffed to the bed, and no amount of pulling against the cuffs seems to be loosening them up. He looks around frantically, trying to get some idea of how he could free himself - or even how this happened to begin with.

Doesn't everyone do that with their pillows?

[Foster jerks a thumb at Ginko, glancing sidelong at his demon.
Truthfully? Ginko and various exes aside, Foster has no idea what other people and don't do. They don't live like him, that's all he knows or cares to know.]
no subject
...Are you okay?
[He asks, looking to Foster again. He really didn't know what had happened. Foster wasnt the type to take care of himself either.]
no subject
...haha. You should know better than to ask me that.
[And with that, Foster turns away from him, bending forward so that his elbows rest on his knees.]
no subject
It's nothing like the blinding pain that had knocked him out to begin with, but, now that he's waking up, the burns in his eye socket still hurt. All the same, he opens his good eye - slowly, carefully, as if expecting pain there too - and...
Oh. When did Psi get here?]
...Hey.
[His voice comes out as not much more than a croak, tired and out of it as he is.]
no subject
Hey.
[His own voice is soft as he lets Ginko adjust to the waking world.]
Guess you really pissed off Foster.
no subject
But once he's upright, he just eyes Ginko warily for a moment; if his greeting is lacking in enthusiasm, his moodiness is at least a little justified. ]
Good morning.
no subject
Alright, yeah, he's... he's remembering what happened now. Shit.]
Guess so... not that it wasn't justified. [He watches Foster silently for a moment, before adding,] Sorry. About... all this.
no subject
no subject
[It's a very reserved assessment, but it's still a step up from 'I have to abduct Steven for his own good.' He's not 100% sure of anything right now, though, least of all Ginko's sincerity.]
I'm still waiting on that apology fruit basket from the fae.
no subject
I'll let 'em know if I see any. ...Or, y'know, I'll probably just run and hope they get the message anyway.
no subject
[He smiles as he shifts, moving to straddle Ginko's hips.]
Chains are a good look for you.
no subject
Uh... thanks, I guess? I think I nearly dislocated my wrists trying to get out of them earlier.
[He is, fairly obviously, not nearly so desperate to escape now - but, uh, also.]
...Actually, um. Foster, since I'm... guessing the issue is dealt with, could you maybe let me go? I'd really rather not be stuck on this bed with these cuffs any longer than I have to be.
[Like. He's just saying. He knows what you do here.]
no subject
What's wrong with my bed?
[Foster is offended only on an extremely superficial level, which allows him to appear sincerely bothered--but there's no one in this room who truly believes he's affronted.]
I sleep there, too, you know.
no subject
no subject
And he has other things to worry about, like bickering with Foster over stupid bullshit.]
You sure do. And you do things besides sleeping here, too.
no subject
[Foster's vehemence escalates to include hand gestures. He raises both of them, palms turned upward in vexation.]
What do you think I do, nut into the blanket and roll over and fall asleep?
I mean, he's basically riding you, and you seem pretty okay with that.
[As he speaks, he gets a particularly knowing look, turning his head to the side to regard Ginko askance.]
So maybe it's not the bed that's the problem.
no subject
I'm undoing these.
no subject
[It's like an aura. A sex aura.
He frowns indignantly at Foster, the cuffs jingling again as he tries to make some annoyed gesture.]
He's not doing it anymore--! Oh. Uh... thanks? [He looks questioningly at Foster, not sure if that's going to fly or not. Foster hasn't said anything on the subject, after all...]
no subject
[Foster snaps at Psi without thinking, and it comes out much sharper and more commanding than he expected. He makes eye contact with Ginko, and almost falters for an entire second--why are you looking at him like that?
He frowns back, instead.]
no subject
He's not under her control, and he's hurt.
[He pauses after he speaks as though waiting to see if Foster will attempt to order him around again.]
no subject
Their relationship has always involved something of a constant power struggle--it's arguably the entire point of it, at least for Foster--but this is a lot more personal somehow. Suddenly he resents Psi's resistance to his push for control.]
He's not going to die.
[His impatient tone hides his mood much better than his slip from a second ago, but it's not perfect.]
Leave him.
no subject
You should know better than that.
[The demon shifts off the bed, standing and stretching his wings out behind him. Foster can feel his power affecting him already as a rush of desire runs through him.]
Or do I have to teach you another lesson?
[He steps closer to Foster, reaching out to delicately place a hand on Foster's neck]
no subject
And then Psi says and does that, and Ginko tries to sit up again, yanking at the handcuffs.] --Hey! Cut that out, what are you doing!
no subject
But he's still incensed. Even as his eyelids drop, fluttering slightly as that clawed hand closes over his throat, his stomach twisting with a confused mix of hostility and desire, even as he lets out his shaky, barely-restrained breath... he smiles back. Insolently.]
... in front of him?
[It's like--
No, it's definitely a challenge.]
