⇨ THE EPILOGUE
Who: Everyone!
When: Day 61
Where: The Carnival
What: After all the rescues team return, it will be matter of tending to the wounded and getting the hell out of dodge. The Ringmaster can handle the fleeing part, but someone will need to look after those in the medical tent. Or, maybe, you just want to show up and ask what the hell happened.
Warnings: Some messed up consequences of faerie fuckery.

IN REPAIR↴![]() As the minutes tick past, all four rescue groups will eventually return. Everyone in the carnival is encouraged to help out, ensuring that the rescues and victims both are taken care of after the fact. You can tag in here as rescuers taking care of business around the carnival, victims recovering, or other workers checking in to see what's going on. This log is for general aftermath threads, made by anyone. |

Later-
Even so- he arrives, determined to at least find Some way to brighten Steven's 'waking moments', wondering idly if Creation will or won't have removed it's blessing over the boy's pain. He hopes not.
"...Hello, Steven," he begins when he thinks he sees the other stir, otherwise apparently studying his meditation scroll while seated semi-protectively at the side. "....How do you feel?" He manages, trying to ignore the sight of the crystal.

"I feel weird," he mumbles, trying to sort out his thoughts. "This is weird... I think I broke my hand."
His body is still aching, but more the way it does after being run to exhaustion. Nothing like the sharp pains he felt before Creation came to him.
no subject
Fortunately he has more useful contributions than staring and sniffing. "Considering how we helped you to pull free, that does not entirely surprise me... ...I, the man Gongenzaka, had hoped to perhaps find some way to help you recover a little quicker actually," he admits, coughing somewhat. He doesn't mention the scroll just yet, however. "....You are not in too much pain, then?" the man adds- ears drawing back as he looks toward the boy's eyes.

Now he just aches, as if he's overworked his muscles. And his brain, probably.
"No," he says, after deciding it's true. "It's better than it was before."
no subject
He cries.
Not a weepy, sad one-but rather the loud, waterfall-ish form that most even remotely close to him have likely seen in the past. No doubt if Steven wasn't injured, he'd have reached for a hug- but as for the tears, it starts with a choke that sounds somewhere between a laugh and a cough. Given the relieved smile accompanying it, it is at least clear he's not upset right now. "Hah... Thank goodness," he manages a half second after the tears even start. "Th... I, the man Gongenzaka, had managed to make a request of Creation when we had to leave, but..." He forces himself to quiet at least a little, sighing. "...I, the man Gongenzaka, am glad that you are at least not in as much pain, now... ...when we had searched for you," the man admits, "It felt as though...the closer we came, the more we could feel that pain, after all. ....To know that it has lessened is a significant relief."
no subject
"When I was... there," he starts, uncertainly. "Creation... it came to help me. When I really needed it." That first night would have been so much worse without it. "Later it got... harder and... I don't think it could fix everything. If it hadn't helped me..."
He closes his eyes, pressing out tears, and nods.
"Thank you."
no subject
Gongenzaka sighs, in any case, smiling once again. "The worst, at the very least, has passed," he reassures the other. "What is important now, is recovery..! ...Preferably soon enough that you are not stuck in here, aah?" Gongenzaka laughs, tail rustling. For a moment, he moves to perhaps dab a tear away from the other's face- but he stops himself before he gets there, instead resting his hands at his front.
He then jumps, remembering what he still has with him. "Mnh- which, I suppose, brings me to this... ...it is a scroll which I, the man Gongenzaka, procured in Atlantis." He holds it forward, allowing Steven to at least see.
"...It allows a slight increase in natural recovery... ...At the very least, if your changes are akin to my own," he gestures, referring to his plants, "It could help those to grow back, hmm?"
no subject
"...What do you have to do with it?" he asks. Better start there.
no subject
"As it is- I, the man Gongenzaka, shall be meditating, as I read from the scroll. The magic is within the paper- and I, the man Gongenzaka, shall be focusing my own energy to activate it as well!" he insists- admittedly unsure as to whether his own power will really boost it at all.
Though...he does pause, adding more. "...That said...if you do wish to join, you do not need to do more than follow along in meditation- copy my words, as I say them, if you can. I, the man Gongenzaka, do not feel it will be any less effective if you are not reading at the same time I am," he laughs, shaking his head in what he hopes is a reassuring motion.
no subject
"Will it still work if I fall asleep?" he asks with a little smile. He's so tired, he can easily see that happening.
no subject
"In particular, Yuuya's attempts have been...." The man trails off, waving a hand. It's rather clear that the end of that sentence probably had something do with sleeping.
Regardless. "Should you fall asleep, we shall take it to simply mean you have been granted some well deserved peace from this, I should think," Gongenzaka determines. "Shall we begin?"
no subject
He doesn't know if he needs to try to sit cross legged or what, but doing anything other than laying down seems like a bit much right now.
no subject
"Make certain you are comfortable- if you are comfortable," Gongenzaka explains, "It becomes easier to relax, and allow the energy to flow naturally."
no subject
"Energy flowing from where?" he asks, sleepily.
gettin super spirity up in here-
He makes certain that he is in position, nodding to convey that Steven is fine with how he sits. "...It is the energy which flows throughout your body, from the chakras of your spirit. It is what gives you life, and energy..." he explains, and perhaps he does so to help ease Steven into the meditative state.
"Flowing with our breath....Moving upward, and in," he breathes, inhaling deeply- "....and downward, and out," the man sighs, exhaling as well. He continues this in pattern. "It is as with all things....Back..." He inhales. "And forth...." He exhales.
"As the tides of the ocean...or the blowing of wind upon grasses..." He continues breathing, nodding for Steven to join. "...We feel this energy in the air we breathe, and feel how each part of ourselves moves, and relaxes, with it..."
