Where: The Camping Grounds
What: While the Ringmaster attempts to purge the carnival of magical tracing spells and deal with the angry fire fae in her belly, everyone else is getting sent on an emergency camping trip with some unusual local fauna.

CRYPTIC CAMPGROUNDS↴ You're given about three hours to prepare, after the Ringmaster tells you her plans for the coming week. There is a vast selection of camping equipment at your disposal, and the means to take along enough food for the length of the stay. The wilderness of the planet you're left on is nearly idyllic, but some people just don't like the great outdoors. ► CRYPTOZOOLOGY: As it turns out, the carnival won't be alone here. There is a varied ecosystem of cryptids to be found as well, living in relative peace and mostly reacting to the newcomers with curiousity. More details can be found on the plotting post. You are free to NPC the cryptids as much as you need to, as long as you stick to the behaviours described. ► DREAMSHARING: There is a player plot going on which will allow characters to share dreams! These are specifically more dreams than nightmares, and the mushi-adept characters will be here to help. ► CHILLAX: There isn't any plot twist for this setting, so this is mostly an opportunity to decompress from the last plot and get ready for the future. The Ringmaster will show up occasionally to help with needed medical treatments and check on things, but won't stick around for long.

How did Alphys find a supermarket out here in the woods? And why is she wearing a pink, poofy magical girl dress? It is a mystery, but she doesn't seem to care that much.

"Uh, d-do you know where the snacks are?"

"Snacks?"

That stirs Shura from her very serious contemplation of the various greens. It really is just green. Some of the bundles may not be edible, but she knows there's one specific one she has to find...

But you know what? Screw that. That was like finding a needle in a haystack. Getting snacks sounded much better. "Yeah, come on, let's go there." Shura motions for Alphys to follow her. The snack aisle is not far, and it's crammed with all sorts of prepacked and unhealthy things. There a a few sweet things, a basic selection of basic pocky and kit kats, but the shelves are mostly filled with drinking snacks. Shuira's immediately filling her basket with those. "I haven't had these in so long~ I've missed them!"

Alphys follows behind, flying on her staff like a broomstick, and soon they find the snack aisle. And what a glorious sight to behold! She thinks she can hear a choir of angels singing somewhere.

"It's so... it's so beautiful!"

"It's nice, right? It has everything a girl could need ♥!" There's no need to try and put a damper on Alphys's excitement. Choosing snacks was a very important part of one's grocery shopping, after all.

"C'mon, get what you want. We gotta get some drinks, too."

She nearly doesn't get to finish that last sentence before Alphys is off like a bullet, nabbing shrimp chips and cookies and cakes by the armful.

"D-drinks?" She asks afterwards. "Oh, I think I might need a cart..."

Well, she's happy. Nothing wrong with that. "A cart? Nyaha, we can come back tomorrow! Unless you're really that hungry..." In which case, they may as well just go to a pub. Actually, that's not unappealing.

"B-but I gotta stock up!" She insists with her armfuls of snacks. "I've never even seen one of these places! What if I don't get another chance?"

"No? It's just a regular grocery store--ah, well, get what you want. You can Rin to make some of it if you really wanna try it." And if Rin makes it, it'll be healthier and tastier! Though that really defeated the purpose of junk food and snacks...
