What: While the Ringmaster attempts to purge the carnival of magical tracing spells and deal with the angry fire fae in her belly, everyone else is getting sent on an emergency camping trip with some unusual local fauna.

CRYPTIC CAMPGROUNDS↴ You're given about three hours to prepare, after the Ringmaster tells you her plans for the coming week. There is a vast selection of camping equipment at your disposal, and the means to take along enough food for the length of the stay. The wilderness of the planet you're left on is nearly idyllic, but some people just don't like the great outdoors. ► CRYPTOZOOLOGY: As it turns out, the carnival won't be alone here. There is a varied ecosystem of cryptids to be found as well, living in relative peace and mostly reacting to the newcomers with curiousity. More details can be found on the plotting post. You are free to NPC the cryptids as much as you need to, as long as you stick to the behaviours described. ► DREAMSHARING: There is a player plot going on which will allow characters to share dreams! These are specifically more dreams than nightmares, and the mushi-adept characters will be here to help. ► CHILLAX: There isn't any plot twist for this setting, so this is mostly an opportunity to decompress from the last plot and get ready for the future. The Ringmaster will show up occasionally to help with needed medical treatments and check on things, but won't stick around for long.

"I need yer nose ta figure out what smells right," Joker says breezily. It's a rather slapdash way of shopping, but who is he to argue with a lady on what goes in her kitchen? Besides, it's kind of fun. Not a lot of these herbs are particularly familiar to him, considering the location, and that just means it's a guessing game of sorts. Picking up another bundle of herbs, he gives a sniff to see if this is anything like the other random assortment they have in their basket.

"Besides, can't go wrong with eggs, right? And, ah..." Something about this is familiar... Oh, right, Ginko. "Do we have rice?"

Shura snaps her fingers at his suggestion. "Rice!" Yes! That would be good with this. Of course, it was just one more thing to make, but it wouldn't be that hard.

"Eggs, rice, one more of these," she reaches for one more bundle of greens, dumping it in the basket with the others before she reaches to take the one Joker has in his hand. It'd work, probably. "And beer! We gotta get somethin' to drink with this." Beer, sake, whatever it was, they couldn't just drink water.

This basket is sure going to end up heavy... but hey, he has a good arm, he can manage. In the meanwhile, he just nudges her in the side with his elbow with a sly smile.

"So is the beer for before or after~?"

Oh, had she not mentioned the reason they were cooking? Shura's grin widens. "Nyaha, for before, during and after! How else are we gonna see if this soup will prevent a hangover, huh?"

Can you get alcohol poisoning n a dream? Shura's going to try.

Oh, right, that's what they were doing. Probably. Does it matter? Not really, and Joker just laughs. Alcohol poisoning it is!

"Then we should get a variety~. And we can see what goes better with this cure, too!"

If they don't wake up with hangovers, it will be a miracle.

That gets a thumbs up from Shura. This is exactly how she wants to spend her time, drinking and having fun.

"Of course, that's good! How we gonna know if it works just for beer or if it's good enough for liquor if we don't try it all~. C'mon, c'mon, what kinda booze are you gonna get?" Rice and eggs can wait, booze first.

This is a good question, and Joker makes a very theatrical thing out of just thinking, hemming and hawing as he leans from side to side. Eventually, he gets his act together and snaps his fingers.

"Do ya think they have the types that have that vanilla taste ta 'em?"
