⇨ CAMPING GROUNDS

Who: Everybody!
When: Day 64
Where: The Camping Grounds
What: While the Ringmaster attempts to purge the carnival of magical tracing spells and deal with the angry fire fae in her belly, everyone else is getting sent on an emergency camping trip with some unusual local fauna.
Warnings: Camping.

CRYPTIC CAMPGROUNDS

You're given about three hours to prepare, after the Ringmaster tells you her plans for the coming week. There is a vast selection of camping equipment at your disposal, and the means to take along enough food for the length of the stay. The wilderness of the planet you're left on is nearly idyllic, but some people just don't like the great outdoors.

CRYPTOZOOLOGY: As it turns out, the carnival won't be alone here. There is a varied ecosystem of cryptids to be found as well, living in relative peace and mostly reacting to the newcomers with curiousity. More details can be found on the plotting post. You are free to NPC the cryptids as much as you need to, as long as you stick to the behaviours described.

DREAMSHARING: There is a player plot going on which will allow characters to share dreams! These are specifically more dreams than nightmares, and the mushi-adept characters will be here to help.

CHILLAX: There isn't any plot twist for this setting, so this is mostly an opportunity to decompress from the last plot and get ready for the future. The Ringmaster will show up occasionally to help with needed medical treatments and check on things, but won't stick around for long.

At the very least, he looks properly apologetic- perhaps even close to tears (though he'll reign it in). "A-Auh... S-Surely there would be other herbs that could be used..?"

He coughs, and adds- "My nose is simply sensitive..." As long as he doesn't put a cookie Right In Front Of It, he'll be fine! Totally.

Heh, what a sorry face. Shura laughs, reaching up to... pat his shoulder. She can't quite ruffle his hair when he's got over a meter on her.

"Nyaha! This will be easier, anyway~ It ain't like I know much about baking, anyway." Instant ramen was where it was at, after all. "C'mon, let's go find somethin' good to eat." This kid... did he drink? No, he was too much of a good kid to be drinking. Fine, she could have some juice with her snacks today.

At least there are leaves to ruffle. It's sort of like ruffling his hair. Sort of.

Most of his hair is leaves anyway at this point (that, or fur). "Auh...is that so... ...I, the man Gongenzaka, have tried...once or twice..." He trails off some as he follows Shura, finding it curiously difficult to think of the last time he made cookies.

Actually for some reason- "...Perhaps it was a cake..?" Something light and fluffy... (Or were those Pancakes???)

"A cake?" The wheels in Shura's head are turning. Cake wasn't bad. Something light and sweet sounded good. Right! They had a plan! Shura gives Gon's shoulder one last pat before moving to hand him the shopping basket.

"All right~ I'll let you take the lead if you've done this before ♥ !"

"Hmn-!" He'll just be taking that then-!!

"Of course! Simply follow me, we need only locate the baking aisle..!"

This is either going to end in cake, or end in waking up, but at least it went 'well'.

"Of course~"

HECK YES, someone who's willing to do the work for her! Gon, even in dreams, it's a terrible idea to enable Shura. She'll get ideas, and that's terrible. She'll be happy to follow Gon to the baking aisle. Unfortunately, since this is Shura and Shura isn't that familiar with the baking aisle, it's kind of a mess. There are boxes and bags of stuff, but it's hard to figure out what's what. Godspeed, Gongenzaka.
