[OTA] Your Gamer Has Evolved!
Who: Chiaki & YOU
What: A change of pace
Where: Carnival grounds
When: D34
Warnings: N/A
A: Closed to Yuugi
With all her friends back at home, Chiaki didn't figure that there would be much reason for her to go back into the Matrix. They'd already spent a week there, anyway; surely they would be moving on by now.
She didn't expect the Matrix to have another surprise in store for her, and so soon. So it was with some alarm that, after waking disorientedly from the couch where she'd accidentally spent the night and blearily slipping off it, she flumped immediately over onto the ground, her new legs not quite supporting her the way she expected them to.
B: OTA
Chiaki's moving slower than usual around the Carnival Grounds today. Turns out that rabbit legs aren't the easiest for walking, so on her way to breakfast she can be found slowly placing one huge furry foot in front of the other, waving her arms madly to keep her balance.
Find her at any other time in the day and she's moving... differently. Running - about three steps, and then falling flat on her face. Leaping - and stumbling when she reaches the end. Hopping - and this seems to go quite a bit better, even if it looks a bit sillier. By the end of the day, Chiaki's bouncy walk has fully adapted into a more natural two-legged hop.
C: Closed to Mitsuki & Tamaki
A little thing like transformation isn't going to stop Chiaki from a promised engagement, so as night falls she's hopping over to the idols' trailer and knocking on their door, a few scribbled-on pieces of paper under one arm and a pair of scissors in her other hand. If the Carnival has no board games, she'll just have to make her own.

C; just starting things off
He's curled up as much as he can be on the bunk, with one leg draped over the side, when Chiaki knocks on the door. It takes him a minute to uncurl and get off the bunk, landing on the floor with a thump that shakes the trailer a little.
He goes to the door, opening it just a little first to see who's outside (he's still nervous, after what happened). But when he sees Chiaki, he opens the door all the way, smiling.
"Chia-chan's here!" he says over his shoulder at Mitsuki, before looking back at his friend. "Chia-chan, you... uh..." He blinks, suddenly distracted. "You have bunny feet."
once more in the right place orz
He's relieved that Tamaki's willing to get the door, though. Mitsuki's just taking cookies out of the oven. Shortbread, shaped like king pudding, pure unadulterated Tamaki comfort food. If he knew how to make the pudding itself, Mitsuki would have, but hopefully these will be a good alternative.
He sets the tray on top of the oven then turns around because sorry, what? Mitsuki leans over, looking darkly up at Tamaki. "Tamaki, don't just say that." His tone is gentle because he's still handling his friend with kid gloves after what happened, but you can't just declare that about someone's feet.
no subject
She hesitates on the step, not stepping in because honestly her big feet are incredibly awkward now. She could step up, but she might fall over again and that'd be even more embarrassing than the alternative - which is continuing as she's been moving for the latter part of the day.
Well... she has to get used to it sometime, right?
She gives a little hop up with both her feet into the trailer, making sure to lean back so that she doesn't keep going by mistake and run into both Mitsuki and the hot stove. Then she gives another hop into the middle of the trailer.
"I brought games. I still have to cut them out, though... but something smells really good!"
no subject
He nods when Chiaki notes that it's true (see!?), but quickly gets distracted by the new line of conversation.
"Yeah! Mikki's been cooking! He's the best!"
no subject
"They're just cookies, but there's pie from last night, too, and I can try to make something else if there's anything in particular you'd like, Chiaki!" When it doubt, feed people. It always helps bring things back to normal and frankly, when Tamaki came back, Mitsuki had no idea how long it'd been since he'd eaten so he's all for making up for lost time.
"What kind of games?" The cookies need to cool before he can decorate them so he instead peers over at the papers in Chiaki's hands. "Do you need any help?"
no subject
"Chess, checkers, backgammon... a deck of cards for solitaire... all kinds of things. Do you have another pair of scissors?"
Her legs kick idly under the table, not anywhere close to reaching the floor.
no subject
"You made all these, Chia-chan?" he asks, picking up one of the sheets to look at the cards she drew. "That's amazing. Good work!"
no subject
"I'm impressed! I didn't even think of this kind of thing when I thought about games; I was mostly thinking arcade and video games, but this is much more practical." Which is a fun way to think about a game, really.
"Did you want anything to eat, Chiaki? Or drink?"
no subject
"I'd love a cookie, please... and do you have milk?"
She passes some of the pieces to Tamaki on the couch next to her. "Could you fold along the lines, Tamaki-kun?"
no subject
"Do you want any, Tamaki?"
