[OTA] Your Gamer Has Evolved!
Who: Chiaki & YOU
What: A change of pace
Where: Carnival grounds
When: D34
Warnings: N/A
A: Closed to Yuugi
With all her friends back at home, Chiaki didn't figure that there would be much reason for her to go back into the Matrix. They'd already spent a week there, anyway; surely they would be moving on by now.
She didn't expect the Matrix to have another surprise in store for her, and so soon. So it was with some alarm that, after waking disorientedly from the couch where she'd accidentally spent the night and blearily slipping off it, she flumped immediately over onto the ground, her new legs not quite supporting her the way she expected them to.
B: OTA
Chiaki's moving slower than usual around the Carnival Grounds today. Turns out that rabbit legs aren't the easiest for walking, so on her way to breakfast she can be found slowly placing one huge furry foot in front of the other, waving her arms madly to keep her balance.
Find her at any other time in the day and she's moving... differently. Running - about three steps, and then falling flat on her face. Leaping - and stumbling when she reaches the end. Hopping - and this seems to go quite a bit better, even if it looks a bit sillier. By the end of the day, Chiaki's bouncy walk has fully adapted into a more natural two-legged hop.
C: Closed to Mitsuki & Tamaki
A little thing like transformation isn't going to stop Chiaki from a promised engagement, so as night falls she's hopping over to the idols' trailer and knocking on their door, a few scribbled-on pieces of paper under one arm and a pair of scissors in her other hand. If the Carnival has no board games, she'll just have to make her own.

rolls in late with starbucks
His ear twitched on top of his head as the thump of her falling from the couch to the floor happened, rousing him from sleep with a rub of his eye to peer over the stuffed lion, draping himself over it.]
...Chiaki-san?
no subject
[ From the floor, she flops onto her side, a bit confused. Her ears twitch, and unconsciously, one of her new furry legs twitches, too.
She's not really awake enough for this. ]
Ohayo, Yuugi-san... [ She blinks down at her legs, the source of her confusion, and flops one large rabbit's foot experimentally. ] Ahh... I changed again?
no subject
Ah? Looks like you have. They're similar to mine.
[Though it does look like they're curvier. His own paws wriggle as he reaches to touch a toe experimentally, then jerks his hand back and blushes, looking at her.]
Feel that?
no subject
[ Which should be self-evident. But they look so strange connected to her own body that it's a little hard for her brain to really accept it. ]
I should get off the floor, probably... [ She reaches out a hand to him, without thinking about it, to help her up. ]
no subject
[Maybe he'd gotten off easier because his had been a gradual change, but he hadn't seen a hint of these kinds of legs on her last night. Yuugi reaches to help her up, standing properly but slowly as he helped her rise.]
It's funny. Our changes are kinda similar.
[Well, aside from his teeth, but that was something else. He steps back a bit to give her room, and also get up at her own pace.]

[ Ears--- her own ears wiggle, still wearing the earrings Carly made for them. And she looks at his, standing proud above his hair.
And now his furry dog legs, which she helped him with -- and her own... what kind of legs, anyway?
Now that she's stable, she lifts up a large furry foot and examines it. ] Mm... these aren't dog legs, but... I guess you're right. And that means we don't have to go through this alone.
[ She gives him a relieved smile and attempts to take a step, still holding his hand. But the large foot is incredibly awkward to try to walk with, and she nearly falls over. ]
no subject
She's right though, they're not dog legs. His claws click against the linoleum floor of the trailer as he steps back, not too far mind, and Yuugi tilts his head before she attempts to walk forward. Instantly his arms fold out to catch her, a small giggle forming in his throat.]
Yeah, we don't.
[He's seen legs like that before. Where oh where...]
Maybe I should just...help you walk for now?
no subject
[ She gasps, laughing a little as she rights herself. Another intended step forward and-- FLUMP.
She's back fallen, on the bed this time, and brought him down with her. ]
This's hard. [ She giggles into the bed, still holding his hand. ] Now I know how you felt!
no subject
Mmm! Only, I think it was only difficult in the first couple of stages. A-at least you got them all straight up.
[Oh boy. Yuugi rolls the rest of himself off of her, so he's flat on his back with his head resting against his stuffed lion. He sighs.]
I'm trying to think of where I've seen legs like that before....
no subject
Ah...! [ She crawls onto the bed and starts rooting through his plushes. Lion, tiger, bear... there are only a few of them. She compares each of them to hear legs. ]
No... no... uh-uh...
no subject
[No, those were more beastly, like his. Yuugi sits himself up properly, wriggling his toes as he thought. Leaning back on his hands, he watched her, pursing his lips together and gnawing on the bottom one with his sharp teeth.
Not one of his monsters personally, then. Maybe one he's seen in a duel?
He sits up quickly when he realizes, reaching out to touch one of her feet, turning it over. No toe beans. Ah, of course.]
Rabbit!
no subject
[ She leans forward to get a closer look. It's odd for her legs to be bent the wrong way, but she runs a hand down her furrier leg and twitches her toes. ]
Rabbit... maybe it's because we did all those jumps? [ She leans against him as she sits and wiggles her feet back and forth, getting a better feel for them. ]
no subject
[Even before Greg interrupted them. Yuugi shifts a bit, one of his arms helping to prop her up as he glances at his own feet. His aren't that much different from humans. Just...bent at the knee some, bigger hips with all that fur. He gives a small sigh.]
Well, I guess that explains why you weren't walking properly.
no subject
[ It's like a game. Sort of? But this feels more basic than a game. She frowns. ]
Wait, I'll lean on you and see if I can figure this out. [ She hops to her feet, and vaguely notices how easily she lands on them - no wobbling at all. ]
no subject
Should we go outside? More room to move and you won't knock your head on anything.
no subject
H-hold on... [ As they make it outside, she winces and rotates her ankle carefully in order to work out the kinks - and then the other one. ]
no subject
Maybe you should try hopping instead of walking?
no subject
Like a rabbit? [ She goes a bit pink. ] That sounds kinda silly...
