Who: Everyone who IS imprisoned, brainwashed, or infiltrating.
When: Day 175, 11:30PM onward.
Where: The Prince's shiny new fortress.
What: Those that have been imprisoned by the Prince languish in their underground cell, while those that are under his control continue to do his nasty bidding. Also, Foster might be here? We'll see how that goes.
Warnings: General fuckery, maybe torture.

THE LAIR OF THE BEAST↴ As the fortress comes into being, the Prince has been reaching far across his realm, beckoning his servants back to him and corralling as many helpless hostages as he can manage. In the case of the unfortunate carnival members who made the mistake of crossing him during their stay, they are being locked away in the most secure inner sanctums, held as collateral against their former master. Those freshly captured haven't yet been bent to his will, but they can certainly be neutralized. Carted away by security and pulled deep underground, there feels like there is little hope of them escaping on their own. ► GROUNDED: The Prince's dungeon is a simple one - in place of cages and manacles, there is only natural stone. A claustrophobic cave somewhere deep in the earth, those within it will soon be completely cut off from the outside world. All the prisoners will have been injected with manticore venom at some point or another, which will be slowly turning parts of their bodies to stone, and if that wasn't enough they have also been partially encased in the stone walls and pillars, as if phased halfway into the rock and left there in various positions. It is an enclosed area, and all the prisoners are within talking distance of each other - which is a good thing, because there isn't a lot else to do with their powers mostly bound and their bodies becoming less and less capable of movement. ► CONTROLLED: Those of the brainwashed that manage to return to the fortress will be set to work guarding and attending to these hostages, along with the help of some of the long term Manor servants. They still need to eat, right, and that can be difficult when you arms are stuck in a cave wall. Otherwise, there may come a time when the Prince calls upon them to do something more specific - and there's also the chance that the new prisoners will fall victim to his power and succumb to his control as well. With the poison in their bodies, it's only a matter of time before they lose themselves.

Your brother is also in prison right now, Lauren, it's fine. Joker sure doesn't stop for a few more verses, and winks at the younger boy when he finally does.

"C'mon now, it's fun! And a good way ta pass the time."

By the time Joker does stop Susan is laughing, and he grins over at Lauren.

"And they're more fun than any of the other songs, too!" Which at this point is probably something they all need. Anything to keep spirits up, right?

"Why is this more fun?" he says, looking back to his brother. "It's just... Dirty."

"Dirty and dumb~" Joker agrees, his voice still a foot in sing-song. "Haven't ya ever done somethin' a little ridiculous before just for the sake of it?"

He will do this poor boy a favor and not bring up the birds and the bees on a personal level. There are some things that don't need to be brought up, even when you're stuck in a shitty cave prison and have a potential chance of dying.

"Lauren never does ridiculous things on purpose, he's too shy. He only does them on accident." And he definitely has some stories he could tell there, but he doesn't share them... Not yet, at least.

"Susan!" he shouts, looking horrified.

Time to make Lauren's life even worse while they're already stuck in rock jail. Joker's grin is definitely sly enough to say that enough.

"Hey, Susan, how well do ya think ya know the song by now? Got the first few verses down?"

He glances to Lauren, knowing he won't be happy with this, but that makes it more fun if he's honest.

"I don't know, but I could try."

He groans, before resting his head against the rock wall.

"You absolutely cannot sing this song in public."

"Best sung in pubs or on ships anyway~." And, you know. Prison. Still, Joker is grinning over to Susan, more than encouraging.

"Give it a go, then~."

Susan was expecting more of a fight from Lauren, and so he's actually caught off-guard by Lauren... Basically giving him permission to sing it? That throws him off more than anything else, since he was really just being silly and teasing Lauren about it, but he doesn't really mind. Of course he only barely remembers the words Joker was singing anyway, but he has a vague enough idea that he can at least make an attempt.

And so after a minute, and with another glance to Lauren, he starts to sing. He has the tune right, and the vague idea of each verse, but... Yeah, the words are wrong. At least he knows it's supposed to be crude though so his substitutions and places he wings it are still fitting.
