What: As the Harbingers reveal themselves, those among the carnival that Creation has chosen will start to discover new powers within themselves. It's because they're magical girls, yo.
Warnings: Harbingers being assholes.

HARBINGERS OF VOID↴ On Day 16, the Harbingers begin revealing their new selves... in the form of wreaking havoc on the city! CY-Ren isn't looking for mass panic or serious structural damage - instead she wants constant annoyances and distractions, of the sort that will keep those that might be on her tail distracted from her true plans. However, when Creation is faced with the threat of twelve new Harbingers, it will have to fight in kind... ► HARBINGERS: Your job is to use your powers to create messes for other people to clean up! CY-Ren gives no specific instructions outside of a general framework... flex your powers! See what you can do. Don't destroy the city or anything, but give Creation a run for its money. She needs these civilians alive for her later plans. ► STAR GUARDIANS: Twelve members of the carnival have been chosen by Creation to fight in its name, even if they don't realize it yet. When confronted by the Harbinger's chaos, their Sparks will make themselves known in whatever form is appropriate to the character - and they will be asked if they are willing to use the power of their soul to fight the darkness. How this scene plays out can be flexible, but essentially they will find themselves faced with the question: are they willing to fight for the preservation of life? If they say yes, their Spark will emerge, and they will be able to trigger a magical girl transformation, as you do. ► CHARITY CONCERT: While everyone else is busy with the sudden rise of the Harbingers, CY-Ren's PR team is releasing a statement -- they will say that new information has revealed that there had been bomb threats made against the canceled concert, which are now being blamed for the damages. CY-Ren will make a personal statement, saying that in order to apologize for the failure of her previous performances, a new free to attend event is being planned for the near future - people who had tickets to the previous event and had to go home early get top priority!

[Upon observing that Yuya would rather take his chances hiding in here, the dragon snorts a hovers down to an almost perched position.]

Geez Yuya...! [Yugo calls down at him with a tone that's almost (but really not quite) as ominous Yuri might've done it.]

It's like you think I'm gonna hurt you or something!

[He can't get caught here, but the buildings are shorter than the alley is tall, and Clear Wing might be able to reach him from there. Absently he reaches for his pendulum, gripping it tight in his hand and he closes his eyes and takes a steadying breath.

He can get out of this if he believes. His courage will swing back to him. And then... then...

Then he hears it. Well, not hears it, but he feels it. Something that beats heavy with that mantra inside and outside him. He wants to help, wants to protect, but he can't as he is now. It can help him, though. He has the potential, right there inside him. Protect the world and he'll protect his friends, too.

There's a light down in the alley, and his heart feels warm. He's so focused on his private conversation with Creation that he doesn't notice it, or at least doesn't notice that anything is actually happening outside his own presence.

The light grows until it bursts like a bubble, leaving a shower of sparkles that disappear before they reach the ground. Yuya stands in white and gold, pendulum gone (but not really gone) and his hand instead gripping a large, star shaped bubble wand, and he's full of a presence he didn't have before. He opens his eyes slowly and looks around. And then looks down at himself.]

Eeeeh?! [He pulls away from the wall, spinning around as he tries to look over his new attire.]

[Well Yuya's not the only one looking surprised. Clear Wing rears back from the light show and Yugo still has to block out some of the brightness even through the helmet visor with his hand. And when it clears...

... Oh. Well it's not like Standard double hasn't made his stance clear already, this is just cementing that they're entirely enemies as far as Yugo should be concerned.]

Huh.

[Clear Wing growls threateningly.] Well. Does this mean you're gonna fight then or are you just gonna keep hiding in there like a coward?

[hippocarnival]

[Yuya tilts his head back up to stare at the two of them blankly. He holds out the bubble wand and turns to it, as if it has any answers for him. Well, if this is the power he needs to stand up to Yugo... here it goes!

He swings it up with force. A couple colorful bubbles form, floating slowly up... slowly... slowly...

He doesn't know what he's doing.]

[bananaspeedrider]

[They should probably be insulted, probably. Yugo has the dragon reach out and swipe at the ridiculously harmless-looking bubbles, intending to show off that they're just as futile a power to have as they look.

And then if they don't have any sort of magical effect upon being popped, Clear Wing's next move would be to chomp toward Yuya with they jaws again.]

[Not much of one, aside from sparkling when they pop. Yuya's got only a vaguest idea what his powers are.

He lets out a scream as Clear Wing comes down and ducks his head, projecting his shield to maximum capacity. It'll keep them out at least for the moment, although it can't hold forever. Yuya just hopes he can hold it long enough for a real plan. He glances back down the alley, each direction, and then back at Yugo.]

[bananaspeedrider]

[GODAMMIT.]

Tch. So that's how it is huh?

[Better think fast, because Yugo dismounts and Clear Wing shifts just enough that they both charge up and release a twin blast of plasma- Dielectric Breath onto the shield.]

[Yuya cringes as both attacks hit the shield, and he feels it in his chest. It knocks his focus as he just tries to maintain its form for a moment, but it's going to give soon. What happened to the bubbles--they were light. There was light. Maybe...

Yuya swings the bubble wand horizontally a dozen rainbow bubbles appearing. As the shield gives in they explode, and this time the light is brighter like a spotlight in the face. It washes out the entire area for a moment.

Yuya stumbles back, crashing into the wall to evade the plasma breath. And then he turns to run out the side of the alley, staggering as he gains momentum.]

[Once again... godammit those are some unexpectedly tricky powers. Neither boy or dragon could be prepared for when the bubbles explode like a dozen flashbangs.]

Ugghh...!!!

[Can't see... Can't see a thing!]

[Yuya looks over his shoulder once, and then his focus is entirely on creating as much distance between them as possible. Yugo's got an edge with his dragon, so Yuya has to take the lead and lose their trail before they can even start on it.

But damn, all he has are his feet! Doesn't being a guardian come with flying or anything?!]

[Well hey there's a reason that Yugo is using Clear Wing as a mount.

Yuya gets that head start for as long as the Harbringer and his familiar are disoriented by the light, which may or may not be long enough to get some decent distance on foot. Though once they're back in the air, they still have to figure out which direction the newly appointed Guardian ran off to.]

[Yuya's trying to stick his path to places that aren't out in the open, so he has lots of cover. He's avoiding actual buildings, however, because he doesn't want to risk that Yugo might be more than a little willing to hurt other people to get to him. He needs to stay as far away from them as possible.

He bolts between two other alleys, but the street is wide and open. Yuya's damn lucky there's no cars coming, seeing as he doesn't even wait for the sign to light up--or use the crosswalk.]

[Difficult, but unfortunately for Yuya and Odd-Eyes... two can play at that tracking game. And Clear Wing has the most experience between all of the dragons at doing it.

They soar through Wismuth's skies, but eventually... eventually...

A rush of approaching wind, then the servant dragon's entirely black claw snatches Yuya up from behind.]

[The ground is suddenly gone below Yuya's feet, and a chill runs up his spine. He grabs onto Clear Wing out of reflex, as if it might proceed to drop him after, and he looks up and up at the dragon. And Yugo.

Oh, he's in trouble. He starts squirming immediately.] Let me go!

[bananaspeedrider]

Nah... Not yet.

[They fly for a bit, then Clear Wing descends low enough back onto the sidewalk for Yugo to hop off again and flick his feather blade back open]

After all I should see how this power I have works on different people anyway.

[The dragon swaps hands while still holding Yuya to change their grip on him to something that'll keep his arms pinned.]

[Unfortunately, if Yuya can't swing his bubble wand he can't really use it, and Clear Wing has an obvious size advantage--even with his struggling, he's quickly caught in a grip that keeps his arms locked to his sides. He stares at Yugo in terror as he comes closer with--oh, no, that's a knife. Is he really going to kill him?

Yuya swing his leg out to try and kick him in reflex.]

[bananaspeedrider]

[The blade glows ominously and having armor helps with keeping that from stopping his intent.

And then Yugo stabs, right around where Yuya's heart should be. But strangely there's no actual injury or blood- the knife seems to phase through his skin like what the Hand of God's rapier form did.

It's not soul splintering, but agony and foreign hate will make his chest burn in an almost familiar way as the "wound" crystallizes over.]

Stop! [It hurts.

Yuya goes pale when the blade stabs into his chest, and with no way to anticipate that it won't cut into it skin he's filled with absolute terror that here, he's going to die. He screams, but nothing else bubbles in his throat, and somehow amongst the pain fear isn't his strongest emotion--it's betrayal. Hate.

He can barely focus on Yugo right now, but his expression still twists in disgust as he tries to kick him again.] Let me GO!

[bananaspeedrider]

[Sure no problem, after Yugo tucks away the knife again, he just nods to the dragon- who responds with tossing Yuya off to the side as if there's no use for him anymore.]

Yeah it's painful, huh? When bonds are so weak that they let you down?

[hippocarnival]

[Yuya hits the ground with a painful thud and rolls over, gripping his chest. He seethes, turning his head to glare at Yugo over his shoulder. Slowly, he pushes himself up on one arm, though he's shaky. He just--he just needs to orient himself, and then he'll show Yugo's stupid, smug face how much he's let him down...]

[fusionactuallysuitsher]

[That scream! That was Yuya!

Yuzu quickly made her way to where Yuya was most likely and came to a horrified stop as she saw the two of the - Yuya injured and Yugo... What happened to him?! She’s quick to rush to Yuya’s side]

Yuya, what happened?! Are you okay?!

[bananaspeedrider]

[Though Yugo scoffs at when Yuzu shows up, his dragon familiar is outright snarling with fury. They're hovering low enough that Yugo is able to rest his hand on their snout to keep them from charging at her right then and there. For now.]

Well look who's here! I think you oughta be careful though Yuzu, because I don't think Clear Wing here likes you.

[... Wasn't Clear Wing the cute and tiny summon that would follow Yugo around or sit on his shoulder? The giant corrupted monster next to him surely looks almost nothing like it.]

[Yuya hears Yuzu, but he doesn't respond at first... instead, when he feels her get close enough he swings his arm wide to swat her away. Obviously he's not fine, but he can handle himself!

He struggles up to his knees, sitting back on his feet as his claws dig into his shirt and skin and he glares daggers at Yugo.] D... don't get so cocky, you haven't won yet!

[Yuzu jumps back at the swatting. What the...? What's going on?]

Yuya, what's gotten into you?! This is not like you! Either of you! ALL OF YOU!
