What: As the Harbingers reveal themselves, those among the carnival that Creation has chosen will start to discover new powers within themselves. It's because they're magical girls, yo.
Warnings: Harbingers being assholes.

HARBINGERS OF VOID↴

On Day 16, the Harbingers begin revealing their new selves... in the form of wreaking havoc on the city! CY-Ren isn't looking for mass panic or serious structural damage - instead she wants constant annoyances and distractions, of the sort that will keep those that might be on her tail distracted from her true plans. However, when Creation is faced with the threat of twelve new Harbingers, it will have to fight in kind...

► HARBINGERS: Your job is to use your powers to create messes for other people to clean up! CY-Ren gives no specific instructions outside of a general framework... flex your powers! See what you can do. Don't destroy the city or anything, but give Creation a run for its money. She needs these civilians alive for her later plans.

► STAR GUARDIANS: Twelve members of the carnival have been chosen by Creation to fight in its name, even if they don't realize it yet. When confronted by the Harbinger's chaos, their Sparks will make themselves known in whatever form is appropriate to the character - and they will be asked if they are willing to use the power of their soul to fight the darkness. How this scene plays out can be flexible, but essentially they will find themselves faced with the question: are they willing to fight for the preservation of life? If they say yes, their Spark will emerge, and they will be able to trigger a magical girl transformation, as you do.

► CHARITY CONCERT: While everyone else is busy with the sudden rise of the Harbingers, CY-Ren's PR team is releasing a statement -- they will say that new information has revealed that there had been bomb threats made against the canceled concert, which are now being blamed for the damages. CY-Ren will make a personal statement, saying that in order to apologize for the failure of her previous performances, a new free to attend event is being planned for the near future - people who had tickets to the previous event and had to go home early get top priority!

"Then how do you know it isn't from what one of the Harbingers did?" He thinks this is a lot of assumptions being made if they don't know what's going on. They can't even see it yet.

He doesn't have any better leads, however, so he relents. "We'll go look, but if it isn't serious then we have to keep going."

That's fair, right? Yuya doesn't want to leave anyone in danger, either.

"It's always serious," Cole simply responds, as he starts hurrying off in the direction of where the hurt is. It only takes them a few minutes before they arrive at the scene of the chaos: it's a massive traffic accident, about a five car pile-up. Tempers are flaring, people are angry, and there's one woman still trapped in her car, pinned in by the guardrail on one side and another car on the other.

"The woman or the others. Which would you be best at?" Cole's already working out what he could do to either save the woman or help calm everyone down, but he doesn't know about Yuya's powers yet.

"Best at?" Yuya looks between Cole and the traffic accident. It takes him a moment to spot the woman, but he's not sure who 'the others' are.

"You mean the woman in the car? We should try and get her out... where are the police?" Actually, has anyone called for them? He reaches for a pocket before he remembers, right, he has no service on his phone or duel disk.

He points to the crowd, looking back to Cole. "I'm going to make sure someone calls for an emergency, and they'll be able to take care of it."

Cole is free to check on the tapped lady first, because Yuya's making his way to the first adult to make sure the people equipped to help are on their way.

Calls for emergency? What the heck does Yuya mean by that? Cole just looks at him, downright confused, before he turns to go towards the trapped lady.

As Yuya talks to the actual adult, Cole's attempting to pry the car door open, whether through not-very-brute force or attempting to pick the lock of the car door itself. It's moderately successful, but successful enough that he's managed to pry the door open somewhat.

While Cole is prying open the car, Yuya is waving his hand and getting the attention of the irritated adult. It's at least harder to yell at a plucky teenager with a sympathetic expression, speaking calmly as he asks if anyone's dialed for any emergency vehicles, and if anyone's hurt. The man isn't sure, and with some gentle prodding starts dialing for them himself. He'll probably claim it was his idea, later, but Yuya's not worried about that.

With that much handled, he waves goodbye and weaves around the accident to get to Cole's side. "You're getting it open? That's good."

"I'm trying," Cole responds, as he goes back to fiddling with the car. He could probably use some help, but Yuya's just about as physically strong as he is. He's gotten the lock picked, but the car door is bashed down in such a way that it's hard to get the actual door open.

"Can your bubbles loosen things?"

Cause hey, if they can, might as well use them.

Yuya pauses, having to think about it. They can do a lot of things as long as he wills it, but how would you use bubbles to loosen a bashed-in door? Make them expand?

"Maybe?" He pulls on the door experimentally. He's not strong enough to pry it open for sure, so he starts tapping the window to get the woman's attention. "Hello? Miss? Can you hear me?"

The woman inside makes a noise of understanding, but her hand is on her head. It's obvious she's dazed and probably hit her head on something during the car accident: something that Cole will quickly confirm.

"It's hard for her to think. We need to hurry."

Yuya nods. He was hoping to have her help with pushing the door open, but she doesn't look up to it. "Hold on, we'll get you out of there!"

But first, he has to bounce back a bit, weaving to a spot with a little more coverage behind the car so he can transform. Bubble wand in hand, now, he moved back to the door and looks it over. It's a little performative because, honestly, Yuya doesn't have any idea what he's doing.

"... Um. Maybe if we shove enough bubbles in the cracks it'll pop open?"

Cole also has no idea what he's doing. But hey, Yuya's idea sounds like an awesome one and he is straight up going to try it.

"Nigella is small," Cole points out. The familiar blinks, a bit shocked that she's getting brought into the conversation. "If we open it enough, she can help from the inside."

"Um, sure?" the familiar responds, still a bit surprised that Cole's adding her to the plan to begin with. "I can definitely do that."

Yuya looks... a little unsure at Nigella. Does she have super strength or something, otherwise he doesn't see how she's going to help push the door open. But she says she can do it, so Yuya will believe her!

"Okay," he nods once before focusing on the bubble wand, waving it in a short back-and-forth pattern to generate lots of squishier bubbles. He grabs for a few before they fly off, and tries shoving them into the crack of the door.

... There are probably better ways to be doing this.

There probably are better ways to be doing this. But like hell if Cole can think of any of them. He's pulling at the door as Yuya shoves the bubbles in the door's crack. It works a little bit, making a tiny crack that a magical nug can squeeze through but not an entire person.

Inside the car, Nigella's using her thumbs to unlatch the seat belt and just do a general check on the woman before she flies open to the door and tries to push it open. The door moves slightly but overall, it's going to take a while.

"The car's got windows, you know," she points out, looking around. "Just break one of those!"

Yuya stops pushing in bubbles, they've largely stopped being effective, and pauses. He looks between the punch ring on his hand and the window. Punch ring. Window.

"Uh." He pulls his fist back, looking around the window for a safe place to slam it into window risking hitting her.

"Please stay back, miss!" He waits for a minute until he has the room, and then swings his fist forward into the car windshield. It cracks immediately, a hole the size of his fist disintegrating into extremely tiny, geometrical pieces.

With a hole in place, Yuya starts pulling on the remains of the window to break it further and open it up so they can pull her through.

Well. That solves that problem. Cole just kind of watches as Yuya punches a hole in the window, what the hell. It takes Cole a moment or so before he realizes oh wait, he should help too, and joins Yuya in breaking the window further. Cole's not wearing any gloves, but he's being remarkably careful to keep the glass from cutting up his hands.

Nigella's also gawping as Yuya punches the window, but she's quicker to act. She gently starts tugging on the woman, trying to wake her up and help her move as much as her tiny little paws can do so.

Yuya's opinion of Yugo's gift is definitely changing. Once enough of the glass is pulled away, Yuya reaches in for the woman's arm. He looks aside to Cole. "Help me pull her out through the window."

Because neither of them are getting her out on their own, but two people makes a lot of difference.

Cole doesn't have much in the way of upper arm strength but with their strength combined, they're able to pull the woman from the window. Nigella helps a bit with the pushing before flying out of the smashed window to look down at Cole and Yuya.

"She needs a healer," Cole murmurs. "Her thoughts are slow, butting against each other." The term for what he's looking for is 'concussed'. However, Fantasy Canon over here doesn't know what that word is.

Yuya teeters a bit as she's pulled out the window, letting her weight fall against him as he tries to help her to sit. Luckily, he can take a guess what happened based on the way she's been holding her head.

"It's probably a concussion. Someone's calling emergency services, they'll help her as soon as they're here."

He doesn't sound worried, though he does lean to try and check her head for any bleeding. If it is just a concussion, she can revive from that. He knows he's had a few in his life from hitting his head too hard.

"Are they close enough to hear?"

It's a sincere question that Cole's asking, though poor Yuya probably doesn't get the train of thought at all. Cole still has trouble understanding phones. Someone is going to call emergency services, ergo someone is going to yell for emergency services in the hopes they're nearby. But if they aren't nearby, then why would someone yell for them in the first place?

He's looking at Yuya like of course Yuya knows what slight bullshit Cole's referring to and of course Yuya will have an answer for said bullshit.

Yuya tilts his head, completely misinterpreting Cole's question.

"They have sirens on the cars so you can hear when they're coming." He glances around at the crash scene, although kneeling like this he has no good view of it. "Nobody's hurt worse than this, are they?"

"But how do the cars know in the first place?" Cole continues downright confused. As he talks, Nigella flies in the air, looking around and getting a better view of the scene than any of these two stationary not-flying guys could.

"People are shaken up but nobody seems to be in major pain. There is some bleeding, though." She floats back down to land on Cole's hat, gripping onto it with her tiny paws.

"Someone already called them." He points to the man he was talking to earlier. With the woman now braced against the car, he slowly rises to his feet. "If no one has an emergency, they'll be okay. Emergency response is really quick."

And there's only so much Yuya can do in this situation, anyway. He doesn't have any healing, but if he knows that these people are taken care of then he doesn't have to worry.

Cole's still a bit confused about the whole concept of calling emergency services, but he's quickly picking up on the fact that this is something best not asked about. It'll just confuse him even more.

"I want to wait until they show up," Cole emphatically states, with a little nod. These people are sill hurting. And even if nobody's in any major danger, Cole wants to linger a little until whatever this response is shows up to help.
