WHAT: He's finally socializing again instead of focusing on his magic research 24/7

For the past month The Doctor had been spending nearly all of his time researching and experimenting with magic to the point the Nightrider and Stage Manager had had to drag him out of his trailer-lab or away from the edge of the forest where he was casting spells to do his duties. He kept saying he had made some sort of breakthrough and seeing as he hadn't broadcast a radio show recently or done much to welcome the newcomers it really must have been important to him.

At long last, worn out and clearly sleep deprived, The Doctor put a pause to his project and ventured out into the carnival to do something other than the bare minimum of his job.
