This is not how healthy individuals deal with their problems.
Who: Psi and Open
What: Drinking Alien Booze
Where: The Cookhouse and Around (see prompts)
When: Right after the supervisor meeting.
Warnings: People using alcohol in unhealthy ways. Drunkenness. Adult language highly likely.
He takes to the air as soon as the meeting is over, sick of looking at that weird symbol and sick of listening to everybody talk about what to do next. All the other supervisors seemed to feel like some kind of violent response was necessary. Perhaps in their minds if the carnival didn't respond it would allow the vampires a second chance to attack. The Psionic, however, didn't agree with that line of thinking. The reality was that none of them had any way of knowing if the vampires were considering a second attack or not. The Psionic really didn't see anything wrong with getting rid of sygil and leaving it at that. It was weakening the wards, so of course they needed to remove it, but so long as the wards could be fixed they were safe here.
Even as he thinks that he can't help but feel some small sense of doubt. Even if he did feel that way, everyone else seemed to disagree. Was he missing something that seemed obvious to everyone else? Maybe they knew something he didn't. It's those sorts of fears and anxieties that begin to emerge as he flies. He doesn't want to remember the first attack, but the images come unbidden as his worries grow. Would a kid as young as Bonnie be forced to defend herself from beings like that? Miko and Lars were older. They were a bit more capable and a bit more annoying, but could they truly stand up to a foe like that?
It's nights like these when the Psionic misses his Alternian companions most. They had always know what to say and do. Their absence stings tonight in a way it hasn't in a long time, so where he ends up doing really isn't much of a surprise.
I. The Cookhouse
When he finds the bottle he holds it up victoriously. The drink inside appears to be a truly distressing shade of fluorescent lavender. He smiles before twisting off the top and pouring himself a drink. It's an Alternian liquor, or at least that's what the label seems to imply.
"This stuff is the best. Here, try this." And if you're nearby he pours you a drink. Even if you're not that nearby he'll probably end up calling you over. "This is what real liquor tastes like."
II. Around the Carnival
He's just a little bit drunk right now. He isn't stumbling, but his psionics seem to be going off much more frequently then normal.
"Hey, you! You!" he shouts loudly as he see's you walking by. He rapidly waves your character over before excitedly asking them, "Truth or dare?"
III. Supervisor Grove
Now he's really really drunk. He probably should not have drank that entire bottle, but it's too late for regrets now. His head is spinning, which is annoying, and he keeps wobbling a bit as he tries to balance himself. He stumbles, tries to catch himself with his own psionics, misjudges the force and ends up pushing himself flat on his back in the opposite direction. There's the thud of his body hitting the ground before before he just starts laughing hysterically. He makes no attempt to get up whatsoever.

"What do you mean?"
Re: II
"It's a game. If I ask you truth or dare you pick one. If you say truth you have to answer a question honestly, and if you say dare you have to do whatever crazy thing I think of."
He laughs again, just because it's such a silly stupid game, but it was fun somehow anyway.
"Got it?"
no subject
"Okay, then... Truth!" Not that dare doesn't sound fun, too, but he has to start somewhere.
no subject
"Truth... Hmm." Psi looks Susan over, taking in his age and trying to think of something sufficiently embarrassing to ask. He's quiet for another moment or two, before stumbling upon something.
"Have you ever had a crush on someone?"
It was a cliche question, true, but it was a question nonetheless.
no subject
"No way! I never really see anyone except my brother." And that would be weird.
no subject
"You can ask me now if you want."
no subject
But okay, now they get to continue the game it seems? He's definitely okay with that.
"Truth or dare?"

But now he has to think of a question. He doesn't really care about things like crushes (unless it's his brother, of course), and he doesn't know enough about the Psionic to know exactly what kinds of interesting things he might have seen or know about... Still though it doesn't take him too long to come up with something.
"What's the funnest thing you've ever done?"
no subject
Maybe something from back on Alternia then? It takes him a few more moments, but finally he thinks of something.
"So, back on Alternia, which is- That's the place I'm from. Alternia. So one time we were all just wandering through some trees? And then we came to this clearing and it was like wow because when I looked up all I could see were so many stars it was crazy! Okay, but that wasn't the fun part."
He steadies himself by leaning against something, taking a breath as he thinks of what to say next. "So it was me and Signless and Disciple and the Dolorosa. And I hadn't really traveled with them a lot before so it was still like, all nervous feeling for me. And, I didn't like the stars because I'd never seen them before because you can't in the city and I was looking at them and thinking, fuck. There's all this shit I don't know about..."
He can remember it even now. The feeling of sadness as he realized just how much he'd missed out on in life. He never felt as trapped as he really was with the highbloods, not until he saw everything they'd been keeping him from. His mood turns somber, his smile falling.
"And Signless and Di just didn't care if I was sad or what, and they just fucking hug tackled me to the ground. And Rosa was already making a fire and it was warm. We just stayed together all night fucking talking or doing whatever the hell we wanted to. It was nice."
It's silent for a moment as he looses himself in the memory. He really missed those guys sometimes.
no subject
"You didn't get a lot of time to just do whatever you wanted, then?" He knows his life is pretty different from most peoples', but honestly just sitting around doing whatever you wanted was what he did every day of his life. It's strange to think of how, to someone else, that could be one of their best memories.
no subject
"My owner kidnapped me when I was real young so I didn't get to do much of anything 'till later."
He's still a bit sad from thinking of the others, but Susan's questions are a decent distraction at least.
no subject
"But... That isn't good at all. If you can't do anything fun or that you want, then what's the point of everything?"
no subject
"You hatch, you do some stuff, and then you die. That's it." He says it like it should be obvious to everyone, even to a child like Susan.
"Everything in between is just... Fluff."

It depended on the person, the time, the place, there were a ton of different factors that all came together to effect someones life.
"Like, being here is fun. And some stuff back home was fun. But most of that stuff sucked. Like, being bossed around and people hating me and stuff."

"Well. I did run away, but then we got caught and so they were probably going to execute me or something. I don't know because that's when I came here."
no subject
"It just isn't fair."
no subject
"Don't worry. I'm having lots of fun here because I get to meet all kinds of people."
no subject
"It is pretty fun here. I like it a lot."
no subject
"Good, I'm glad to hear it." And he really is too. This place could be hell if you held onto a negative attitude too long. Young people like Susan seemed to take it better than most though. That was something Psi was really thankful for.
"So. Who's turn is it?"
no subject
"It's my turn! I want dare this time."

"All the words backwards, or just in backwards order?" Because both sound funny, but one is definitely harder than the other.
