Performance and Dreamcatchers
Who: Joker, those working entertainment, and whoever wants to do fun arts and crafts
When: The day after the orientation, and then after the ringmaster's announcement
Where: The Big Tent and one of the side stages, respectively
What: Joker gets his performing ducks all in a row, and then does an arts and crafts corner. As you do. Mingle log!
At around ten in the morning, as he told a few other workers and anyone who'd been listening in on the walkie talkies, Joker starts to radio in those who are working under him to meet up in the big top. Hope you had breakfast and not a hangover! Of course, for anyone who tries not to attend, Joker will cheerfully hunt them down and bother them into going.
Sorry, mandatory, you know how it is.
It's later in the day, after the ringleaders' own announcement, that eventually Joker makes another of himself, this time to the general channel. It's an invitation to one of the side stages to make dreamcatchers together, for anyone who still craves company or simply doesn't know what the hell a dreamcatcher even is. Along with that, Joker has taken it upon himself to make sure signs advertising this are plastered all over the carnival.
He drew them himself. Please appreciate the scribbled stars.

[No one can say the Ringmaster doesn’t put people in the right job, at least…]
What sorta magic? You’ll understand if I need the clarification considerin’ everythin’.

Nothing flashy, I'm afraid. What spells I do know deal more with not drawing attention to myself. [ Even now, he's almost trying to talk around actually committing to having magic at all, but after a fairly out of place uncomfortable pause (for him, anyway), he'll at least try and list what's possible. ] I can become a shadow when I care to. I can make myself unseen, the same with objects, other people. Anything, really. I can usually pick up other spells, provided I have the instructions for them, but I do not know if that will hold true here.
[ He can do magic just fine, but he isn't some great wizard, not by a long shot. ]
The rest are even less show friendly than the first few.

I imagine we can still figure out somethin’ or another. Future spells aren’t somethin’ ta dismiss, with how much travelin’ the carnival does, but for now we’ll focus on what ya have. Those spells for makin’ things unseen, now, I think we could definitely make somethin’ outta those. Everyone loves a good disappearin’ act.

Ya might be surprised! We go through all sorts of places- once passed through some sorta afterlife, even, so a trick like that probably wouldn’t impress ‘em.
But anyway- how much can ya make vanish? Or seem ta, anyway.

antscursed. ] Though I would prefer not to, even when I do get around to fixing the deck.[ It still makes for a poor stage act, all joking aside. To the rest, however, ]
And as much as I care to. The smaller, the easier, though I imagine I could make about anything seem to disappear given time to prepare. Just do not ask me to do so for an audience of animals. [ If that's ever a... thing. ] There are always a few that can naturally see through magic.

I’ll be sure ta talk with the Nighriders then, so we’ll be on the look out if there’s anythin’ that might see through magic. But that’ll give us time ta figure out a Plan B. Of course, ta have a Plan B, we need a Plan A.
Since most folks come ta these sort of things ta see people do death defyin’ stunts, consider addin’ a little thrill ta yer act. Since it’s yer magic and yer the one who knows yer own limits, I’ll leave it ta ya for figurin’ it out.
