Performance and Dreamcatchers
Who: Joker, those working entertainment, and whoever wants to do fun arts and crafts
When: The day after the orientation, and then after the ringmaster's announcement
Where: The Big Tent and one of the side stages, respectively
What: Joker gets his performing ducks all in a row, and then does an arts and crafts corner. As you do. Mingle log!
At around ten in the morning, as he told a few other workers and anyone who'd been listening in on the walkie talkies, Joker starts to radio in those who are working under him to meet up in the big top. Hope you had breakfast and not a hangover! Of course, for anyone who tries not to attend, Joker will cheerfully hunt them down and bother them into going.
Sorry, mandatory, you know how it is.
It's later in the day, after the ringleaders' own announcement, that eventually Joker makes another of himself, this time to the general channel. It's an invitation to one of the side stages to make dreamcatchers together, for anyone who still craves company or simply doesn't know what the hell a dreamcatcher even is. Along with that, Joker has taken it upon himself to make sure signs advertising this are plastered all over the carnival.
He drew them himself. Please appreciate the scribbled stars.

Learning things comes with practice, and can be reinforced with interest. There's always a learning curve every time you start, but in time...
[ Yukine then wrapped her own ring with the cloth, and began weaving her net with only tiny knots, slow enough for Yuugi to observe, showing it to him like a teacher for a youngster. ]
Once you learn something, you also come to like what you make.

Looking down at his own work, Yuugi reaches to copy, watching out the corner of his eye before shifting his gaze back in order to concentrate. After a few seconds, he glances again, uncertain.]
Like this?
[He might be doing it all wrong, who knows.]

[ To this end, Yukine gleefully offers Yuugi a pair topazes, a ruby, and amber, along side a few feathers ranging from brown to red.]

[His fingers thread through the string and do another knot, and even though he does mess it up he manages to recover enough to get it the second time. It's just like anything really, he figures, knowing that things like that take time. Yuugi blinks, looking at the offering with the blush on his cheeks turning slightly redder as he reaches to take them.]
Um...thank you. Oh! I'm Yuugi.

[ To continue helping him, she makes an example of a knot to use. ]
They're coming together really well. You're learning quick. I can offer you a few other knots to use, just in case, so they can either be as covert or as cute as you want them, without sacrificing for sturdiness.

[His ears twitch atop his head as he ducks it, a bit shy. It's true; he's come a long way since his first couple of attempts at dream catchers, which lay in front of him almost mockingly. Yuugi reached to scratch his cheek, lips quirking.]
I learn better if I treat things like a game, or I have one on one help. [It's almost a quiet admission as he watches, then copies the knot. Heh, he feels kind of like a Copy Cat. Over and under and through and there.] Like that?

[ Yukine held up a few strings that went from far too specific shades of red, gold, with too many variations of both saturation and tint.]
Try to match the colors that look the closest together, and make sure the gem glows brighter, and the feathers be of the same shape as one-another. They are through where good dreams flow, as well.
