Performance and Dreamcatchers

Who: Joker, those working entertainment, and whoever wants to do fun arts and crafts
When: The day after the orientation, and then after the ringmaster's announcement
Where: The Big Tent and one of the side stages, respectively
What: Joker gets his performing ducks all in a row, and then does an arts and crafts corner. As you do. Mingle log!

At around ten in the morning, as he told a few other workers and anyone who'd been listening in on the walkie talkies, Joker starts to radio in those who are working under him to meet up in the big top. Hope you had breakfast and not a hangover! Of course, for anyone who tries not to attend, Joker will cheerfully hunt them down and bother them into going.

Sorry, mandatory, you know how it is.

It's later in the day, after the ringleaders' own announcement, that eventually Joker makes another of himself, this time to the general channel. It's an invitation to one of the side stages to make dreamcatchers together, for anyone who still craves company or simply doesn't know what the hell a dreamcatcher even is. Along with that, Joker has taken it upon himself to make sure signs advertising this are plastered all over the carnival.

He drew them himself. Please appreciate the scribbled stars.

I'd be glad to! You just have to begin with the metal rings and the cloth to cover them with.

[ She lifts up both elements as an example. ]

You don't really need to use knitting tools, as long as you make good knots to keep the dreamcatcher together. The net has to be sturdy, but can be beautiful as you make it.

[ She begins knitting the web to show. ]

[NONA1 focuses on Yukine's hands, following each step she makes. It may look a bit creepy because she doesn't blink.]

I see.

[ This is something Yukine ends up noticing in time, looking at Nona by her side, as she completes the net of her dreamcatcher, forming an octagonal net beside an adorned weaved ring.

Not everyone was human here. She breathed. There were all kinds of people here, many of which could be friends.

She shows it, as she then lifts up a pair of colored strings, beads, gems, and feathers, smiling to her. ]

After that, you tie up the strings on the ring, and put beads and gems on them, with feathers at the end, so good dreams can flow through them. Do you want me to help you with one?

So humans can control their own dreams as well... but yes, I may need some help with the first ones.

[You'll only have to show her once though.]

[ Yukine looked like a child that was asked by an adult how to perform a task she would consider simple. This time, as Yukine does her next dreamcatcher, she does it to show Nona, part by part, until she finally lifts it. ]

Now it's your turn. Remember to do it piece by piece. I'd personally suggest making something to make the colors match, or even make the gem stand out more.

[If it helps, NONA1 is actually 5 years chronologically. Body of a young adult, with pretty much the mind of child. She starts carefully, making sure she can perform each small task well before getting to the fun part of choosing colors and gems.]
