[open] december will be magic again
Who: everyone!
When: the evening of D15
Where: A small meeting hall on the moon, close to the portal to the carnival
What: a whole bunch of show-offs meet up to show off their magic, people interested in magic come to learn about said magic, and other people show up to see if something inevitably gets set on fire. (aka mage club)
Warnings: none so far, will edit if needed.
The meeting hall is a large open space, with hardwood floors and a rustic decor. A few chairs and tables are scattered around, though there aren't enough for the amount of people who'll hopefully show up. Some food has been set out: mostly finger foods (tiny sandwiches, fruit, veggies & dip) though there are some savory options and plenty of home-baked cookies, courtesy of Rin. Drink wise, there's water, hot chocolate, hot tea, and a few bottles of wine because tipsy magic sounds like an awesome idea and this is what happens when the alcoholic makes the dinner menu. Aside from the food table and the few tables, there's not much of anything in the room: plenty of open space for showing off or getting out of the way of someone who wants to show off.
One of the doors of the meeting hall leads to the outside. There's a wider, 'backyard' sort of area with plenty of room for people to cast magic as large and impressive as they want. A fire pit stands outside also for warming your hands and other fire-based magic. Please don't set the building on fire.
This is all very informal. If pressed for details, Strange would have told anyone to just come whenever, stay as long as you like, and so on and so forth. The emphasis is on learning about each other's magic, displaying one's skills and talents, and helping anyone who wished to learn magic decide on a path for them to take.
Showing off is just a given.
( ooc: This is an open mingle log! Feel free to make your own top-levels & tag around! )

That general region was a host of all sorts of magic in many worlds from his understanding. While Tyki had traveled around the world searching for Innocence, namely when it made something go wrong or seem 'haunted', he had never seen a place other than England that was that concentrated.
He feels it enough that his facial features flash a hint of pain but he's battle worn throughout the years that it would take a lot more than a small cut to get a reaction out of him. It thrashes in his hands with the other tentacle reacting in the same manner in alarm and instead of the usual crimson blood that might sprout up from a would, the blood that pools out is black. It drips down onto the ground in thick splatters and for a moment, Tyki stares. "Well, that answers that."

Though the fact that they reacted so violently tells Strange that though they're more magic, there's still a bit of animalistic instinct to those things. This makes him all the more curious to find out just what precisely they can do. With one hand, he quickly sheathes his dagger. As he steps forward, with the other hand, Strange sticks a finger directly in the black blood that pooled from the tentacle. He isn't tasting it (yet), though he does rub the liquid between his fingers and bring the fingers up to his nose for a tentative sniff.
He doesn't realize that walking forward puts him in direct range of the tentacle again: the tentacle that he just wounded.

Which makes him almost reach out for Strange's hand when he goes to stick his finger in that black blood. He wasn't paying attention enough as he was lost in thought and when nothing happens he's reassured that everything will be fine, partially. His blood didn't contain the Akuma virus like the actual abominations at home. Still, he would rather not have to explain why he allowed Strange to suddenly turn into a fine white powdery dust given he was human. "No reason in particular, but I wouldn't leave that on your fingers for long."
With one hand loose it does snap from his grasp and thrash in Strange's general direction. At this rate there is going to be splatters of that black blood everywhere.

With a little sigh, he backs up from the flailing tentacle—which really now, this is just a cut, he doesn't know why Tyki's tentacle is being so overdramatic. "I don't know any healing magic myself," he admits as he watches the tentacle, "but Tamaki does. If the tentacle continues to act up due to the cut, seek him out."
Reaching up to his face, Strange attempts to wipe some of the black blood off. Unfortunately, this only smears it around a bit more and he can't help but wince as some of the blood inevitably comes into contact with his lips and tongue. "Urgh," he grumbles, pulling a face. "I suppose I'll have to go to the washroom and clean this off myself."

"There's something you don't know?" he teases even if the time is kind of inappropriate right now. Tyki at least manages to get his hold on the tentacle again and oddly enough he's petting it like a master would a pet. After a decent while it starts to calm down and wind around his fingers. Tyki always had a way with wild things as his calm presence often was enough to trick if not tame. "I'll keep that in mind about healing."
"It would be for the best, just in case. Not that I'm worried anymore," because if that black blood was as dangerous as he considered it to be Strange would already be dead. In truth, he could use his power to remove the blood without touching Strange's flesh, muscle, or bone by passing his hand through his face but he was fine with everyone thinking he could just 'walk through walls'.

Strange is a big ol'egotist who puts a lot of focus on his magic. Yes, he doesn't know healing magic or any forms of barrier magic. But if he wanted to, of course he could learn them. How hard could it be in the first place?
Though, he knows he needs to clean off the blood, Tyki knows he needs to clean off the blood, he's going to clean off the blood. "And I suppose we'll have to put our conversation on hold for a moment or two—that is, unless you want to watch me wash my face." Now it's Strange's turn to tease Tyki.

"Oh, I know that, Mister Strange. There's a lot I don't know either but given what I can do I don't really need it. Or I didn't need it before fae, that is. First I should tend to these nuisances."
Again, he would like not to have to explain why Strange is dead because that's a lot of information he's not willing to divulge to many or anyone at all, "Oh, I wouldn't mind but with how large your head is it would take some effort and I'd get terribly bored if you couldn't talk for fear of getting more into your mouth." Except Tyki is always teasing out of affection.

Still, there's time for teasing before he goes to wash up. At least in Strange's mind, there's always time for some gentle teasing.
"The only reason my head's so large is because people like you continue to enable me!" Strange calls back, getting one last tease in. After all, it was Tyki who let him prick the tentacle in the first place, among all the other dumb decisions the man's pointed out for Strange. He gives Tyki a small nod of his head before turning around and starting the walk to the bathroom.

"Maybe I'll stop the praise then!" he calls out as he walks away. It's not likely as it was too much fun indulging in Strange. It had the most interesting outcomes. Even if he doesn't hear him he'll sit down where he was before and work on pulling that tentacle off. Whether he tries desummoning them is an entirely different situation depending on who else steps forward.
Man, he is not cleaning this blood up.
