PILLAR OF CREATION↴ Upon arriving, things in Wismuth will seem pretty peaceful. It's a massive city, with no shortage of things going on, but things like violent crime and homelessness are at an all time low. You can wander the streets without much scrutiny, presumed to just be tourists, and most people here come across as helpful and friendly. ► VIBRANCY: The main thing that sets this planet apart is its vibrancy - AKA, the raw creative energy its filled with, flowing from its status as a Pillar of Creation. There is no literal pillar, but Wismuth and its planet is a place where Creation's energy comes through strongest. As a result, everything here feels somehow more real, more intense in a way that's hard to put a finger on. Life is abundant, and its bleeds through in every sensation. ► ATTRACTIONS: There are plenty of things to see while going around the city. First and foremost, there is a lovely beach area bordering the ocean, and a number of tourist aimed attractions built around it. There are giant malls, movie theaters, live stage performances, museums and all kinds of other points of cultural interest. Anything you can do in a big city you can do here, but better. ► ALLOWANCES: The Ringmaster will be giving everyone a reasonable amount of local currency for a few days on the town. You can't make any massive acquisitions with it, but it's more than enough to eat out, see some shows, go to the beach, and whatever you like. You can feel free to pick up some casual supplies, like mundane clothing and souvenirs. There will be more given out later, after the performance week. ► PERFORMANCE: Performance week is starting early this time, after only a couple days of exploration. When the carnival has already been on vacation for a month, the Ringmaster figures they may as well get right to it, and then do more touring afterwards. Members of the local populace will find themselves in the carnival once performances begin, dazzled by the other worldly sights. Magic doesn't seem to exist here, despite the fact that it will flow easier for people bringing it from other worlds. |

Most of her body looks like feathery marble, marked with spiralling tattoos-tattoos which, between their lines, cut right through her it seems. What's revealed by that though, and what flows out to form her tail and wings (not to mention flows from the feathers of her hair and ears) is...Light. Pure, fluid light, like an aurora, or a lava lamp, perhaps. It's dulled a bit, so that it's not hard to look at...but there she is, hovering a few inches from the ground, bird-feet held with a slight bend.]
Ohh? [Carly starts, turning and brushing some hair from her eyes.] Hello? Something you need? [...She's wearing perhaps as much as Shura is. Possibly already a Good Start.]

After her first few encounters with some of the employees, Shura almost expects to see a changed someone; she is not expecting to see someone who seems to be partially made out of light. It gives her pause, but only just so.]
Mm, yeah. Don't know if you're the one I need to talk to, but apparently I'm workin' here now. This uniform's all I got on me, so I was wondering how I could get a hold of of something to change into.
[Even if it was just on loan, life would be a bit easier with at at least something to sleep in.]

That said, Carly seems rather eager the minute Shura explains. Immediately, she perks up, nodding furiously.] Aah, I see, I see~! You've come to the right place! What are you going to be working in? I can provide basic clothes and things, but depending on your job, you get extra outfits too~! Just for protection and such.

[As it is, she waves a hand.] Don't worry..! If something's going to cost extra, you'll be the first to know! ....Mostly because I can't get the material until then.... ....Really, you're fine if you just stick with the number of clothes you'd need to stay clean and comfortable, along with some towels and bed-things. Not to mention, [she adds, ever serious,] Necessities..!

...Ah-! ...We'll need the mannequin to get your measurements too, so that fittings don't take lots of time...

Ah, that's a relief. [Yes, necessities were good. Shura can catch what Carly's throwing at her.] But measurements--I don't need anything that fancy.
[Shura bought off the rack, the thought that something might have to be measured and tailored strikes her as a bit much...]

[No, Shura, it's okay. It's not completely unheard of. The uniform she had on now was custom made for her, though she didn't want to think about how Mephisto knew her measurements. She sighs, rolling her shoulders back.]
If you gotta, fine. Just tell me where you need me to be.
[Surely, the mannequin needing to know what she looked like was just a turn of phrase. That's all. Nothing weird about a wooden mannequin like this!]

It's really not as bad as it..Sounds. The mannequin clunkily springs to life, but otherwise doesn't actually move toward Shura at all. Instead, with a fingerless wooden hand, it pauses to hold its 'chin'-not that it has one, it looks more like a scaled up artist's dummy-and abruptly, the wood begins to shift. Pieces don't change too much....but within seconds, as it takes a confident pose, it appears to be exactly the same size as Shura herself.]
Tadahh~ And that's it!
[It's not really...detailed enough for bra measurements, but hey, Carly has her ways around that. She knows the Pain.] It's way nicer than going around with a tape, right~?

But it's a pretty painless procedure, though Shura's just a little concerned that it might have stolen some part of her soul or something like that. She knows better than to just trust things that had any kind of supernatural ability.]

[She has to think, raising a hand to tuck her hair behind her ear as she tries to remember her wardrobe back home. A series of bikinis and shorts and thigh highs with the occasional dress thrown in. For a moment, she wonders if she should try something different. Something new to go with her still new-ish hair and attitude.

Favorite color? Red, I guess. If you got the fabric for it, something with a fun pattern or design. And a black jacket would go with pretty much anything, so that too.
