What: The carnival enjoys a few days in Wismuth, a coastal city on this planet's version of the American east. However, there are a few things very unique about this version of the planet...

Upon arriving, things in Wismuth will seem pretty peaceful. It's a massive city, with no shortage of things going on, but things like violent crime and homelessness are at an all time low. You can wander the streets without much scrutiny, presumed to just be tourists, and most people here come across as helpful and friendly.

► VIBRANCY: The main thing that sets this planet apart is its vibrancy - AKA, the raw creative energy its filled with, flowing from its status as a Pillar of Creation. There is no literal pillar, but Wismuth and its planet is a place where Creation's energy comes through strongest. As a result, everything here feels somehow more real, more intense in a way that's hard to put a finger on. Life is abundant, and its bleeds through in every sensation.

► ATTRACTIONS: There are plenty of things to see while going around the city. First and foremost, there is a lovely beach area bordering the ocean, and a number of tourist aimed attractions built around it. There are giant malls, movie theaters, live stage performances, museums and all kinds of other points of cultural interest. Anything you can do in a big city you can do here, but better.

► ALLOWANCES: The Ringmaster will be giving everyone a reasonable amount of local currency for a few days on the town. You can't make any massive acquisitions with it, but it's more than enough to eat out, see some shows, go to the beach, and whatever you like. You can feel free to pick up some casual supplies, like mundane clothing and souvenirs. There will be more given out later, after the performance week.

► PERFORMANCE: Performance week is starting early this time, after only a couple days of exploration. When the carnival has already been on vacation for a month, the Ringmaster figures they may as well get right to it, and then do more touring afterwards. Members of the local populace will find themselves in the carnival once performances begin, dazzled by the other worldly sights. Magic doesn't seem to exist here, despite the fact that it will flow easier for people bringing it from other worlds.

[Jinx was mostly done with her shopping by now. Just some essentials really. Clothes and the like, and oversized sunglasses.

Because what would her life be if she at least didn't have those?]

Yeah, looks that way.

[She had already been living with four other girls before coming here, so this level of sharing wasn't exactly new.]

Name's Jinx.

[There were priorities, and then there were priorities.]

Shura Kirigakure.

[She'd pick up her things from the wardrobe tent later. Really, she just wanted some time to sit and maybe drink a little. And eat. Probably eat. If there was one small consolation, it was that she knew one of the guys in charge of food. But for now, best to settle things out with her new roomie.]

What a pain. Come on, put your stuff down. Might as well set out some ground rules, let's just get that crap out of the way. I ain't going to get in your business if you don't mess with mine. I'm sure we can find a way to play nice with each other so long as we're stuck here.

[Just leave her bed alone and let her have her beer...]

[Man, what was up with all these weird names. How was she expected to remember them all?]

Yeah, sure, that's all fine. Don't gotta be best friends or anything, just not annoy each other.

[She set down her bags and stretched her arms.]

I should let you know that I have these two... pets. They usually just hang around with me. Speaking of, give me one second.

[Jinx opened the door and sure enough, both spirits come flying right in.]

Okay, so. This is Shiro, and that's Kuro. [Jinx points to the white and black spirit, respectively.]

Guys? Meet our new roommate!

[They respond in squeaks and noises that Shura won't be able to understand.]

[teenage life is so difficult, remembering all those names and being polite...]

Glad we're on the same page.

[But what was that hesitation what she was talking about her 'pets'? It's suspicious, and Shura almost makes a comment, but Jinx is letting them in and Shura maybe kinda understands. These probably weren't standard pets where she's from.]

Nyeheh, Shiro and Kuro? That's easy enough to remember.

[Squeaking and chirping like that is... cute. If they come close enough to her, she may try poking at one. She can't tell if they're demons or not, but if they were her familiars, they should be friendly... ish.]

[They both decide to float on closer to Shura. Kuro, being the more active one, is actively floating around her in circles.

Meanwhile Shiro is just content to staring blankly at her.]

Yeah, they're the best. I couldn't ask for a better pair!

[Mostly because they both turn into guns.

Speaking of, Kuro might be staring an awful lot at Shura's hair.

And might also be starting to chew on it.]

Look at at that, I think he likes you.

[Friendly enough, though Shura's well aware that this could be a little troublesome, especially that Kuro by the way he's circling her. He won't get much chance at Shura's hair--she's tolerant of cute little things, but no, they don't get to munch on her. If Kuro's not quick enough to dodge, it'll find itself getting snatched by Shura and getting squeezed in her hands.]

Ahaha~ You're not that cute!

[She'd have to make sure she secured her things if these guys were going to be mischievous.]

[Kuro squeaks angrily and flutters about. Though really, it's hard to make out tone when you can only talk in squeaks. Defeated, Kuro returns back to Jinx.]

Don't look at me. You only get to do that because I'm asleep!

[Or she isn't paying attention.]

But yeah, don't mind them too much. They know how to stay out of the way.

Especially if they know what's good for them.

[Either way, it was a lot more tolerant than Shura would be. Admittedly, Shura's former familiars were scared of something bigger than Shura if they bothered her...]

Good to know. I'll try not to annoy them too much. Anythin' else I should know?

Hmmm... Oh yeah! You can tell that I have a lot of hair, so I might some extra mirror time in the morning.

Or whenever I wake up.

[Seriously, it was long. Why was it so freaking so long.]

It's a pain, ain't it?

[So much hair... Shura isn't jealous. Hers wasn't that long, but she can sympathize with just how much trouble it had to be.]

They have me on patrol, so we may not have much overlap in the bathroom, anyway.

[Well that's good to hear. Hair maintenance is a long and arduous process.

But Jinx likes her hair and like hell she's gonna change it ever.]

They got me performing on stage as a daredevil. And I have so many ideas to keep their eyes on me!

[She sounded pretty excited about it.]
