THE BIG CLEANSE↴![]() As the carnival recovers, the Ringmaster has brought it to the gates of a famous interdimensional bathhouse to rest. She won't be joining you for most of it, though she will be checking in frequently and available by radio. She's fixed a large portion of the Silver Mirror after it shattered, but it seems like pieces are missing. She doesn't want to rest until the missing shards are dealt with, and the Mirror itself is locked away safely. ► YOUR OTHER HALF: The shards missing from the Silver Mirror didn't just disappear - after breaking apart in Eden, fragments of the object embedded themselves in the spirits of those not already touched by its powers, and those that had been the most fae-touched. That means, your characters. The effect of this, explained in more detail on the plotting post, is that some characters will be splitting into two versions of themselves: the Light, and the Dark. This doesn't mean good and evil, of course, it's far more complicated than that. Splits can start happening at any time after arriving in Shabon, and initially characters won't know how to rejoin with their twins. Later on, it will become apparent that they need to reconnect via the shard of the Mirror they share... of course, in order to rejoin, you have to have both halves, and not all twins will be as eager to go back to the way things were before. This plot point is optional. ► SPA DAY: When you're not engaging in metaphysical division, you are free to enjoy the many luxuries that Shabon offers. Things will mostly have an east-Asian bend, like what you would see in the movie Spirited Away, but as long as it doesn't affect the setting much, you can honestly have whatever spa-type services available that you want. Food is served both in restaurants and 'buffet' style. There are also well paid sex workers here, if that is your thing, but make sure to tip well. ► FESTIVAL TOWN: The city surrounding Shabondamashii is largely meant to catch the business of interdimensional tourists. There are frequent parades and other events held, and the architecture is very closely packed. It's easy to get lost if you leave the bathhouse, but it's definitely worth it if you like party. You can pick out a few outfits for yourself and some fun nick nacks, but nothing that would normally require mod approval. |

...Okay, and he's just having fun, as his wide grin indicates as he glances over to her. "Oh, enough ta keep us here for a while, I'd say~. There were an awful lot that almost seemed a bit too drab for my tastes, 'tho. Gotta go colorful, right?"
no subject
"Heh, you're right. If we don't have a little fun now, then when are we? Gotta live it up while you can!" This wasn't like the Olympics where everything was just so weird, this place was designed for fun. Which means that on the way to the changing room, Shura's going to pick out another yukata, this one in a grass green. So maybe it's more spring-like, but who's really looking?

As they arrive at the changing rooms, he pauses at the one besides her and pats the wood a little to get his attention. "Oh, when we're both ready, we should both hop out of 'em together at the count of three! What do ya think?" It'll be fun, and get both of them out... Although neither of them really need the incentive, but hey.

"On three? Nyeheh, that sounds good to me!" No, neither of them need the incentive, but coordination does help. "You know how to put these on, right~?"
no subject
"S'all a part of the learnin' experience tho, innit?"
no subject
"I'll see you on three, then~" It'll probably take him an extra moment or two to figure out how to get everything on properly, so theoretically it should give her enough to to do a fun knot with her obi

If there's any good thing to a crossroads kind of world like this one, it's that they bear in mind the many differing bodies their clientele will have. Joker is sure that if this were a world like Wismuth, he'd have to work with Carly on getting one of these yukata tailored for his wings. But here? They're prepared, so that just means all he has to do is figure out the proper method of tying on the obi.
Admittedly, the end result is a little sloppy... but it's doing it's job, so, mission accomplished. He taps his knuckles against the changing room walls. "Ready?"

She'll count on her own or with him, whatever works. And on three, she'll bust out of her dressing room with a pose, one hand on her hip and the other on her head with her lips pursed out in a sexy fake pout type thing. Sure, that obi's tied up all cute, but the yukata's hanging off of her shoulders. Probably not entirely right, but whatever, it;s sexy, right?? "Nyaa, it looks nice, doesn't it?'
no subject
It's put in the reverse of what it should be, so technically he's dead, but hey, whatever.
"Ta da- oh!" He immediately leans over, ears flicking up. "Oh, that's a good way ta wear it. I'll have ta remember it for myself!"
no subject
"Nyaha! I wouldna' thought you could pull of somethin' like that, but it looks good!" He did seem like a colorful guy, and a guy working in his area should be a little ostentatious.
"But you like the way it looks like this? Heh, I should show you how to do a nice knot. I mean, if you're gonna go for that print, you might as well go all the way with it~"

So, of course, the chance to learn more has his ears flicking up like an excited puppy, and he claps his hands together. Combined with the strange existence of his right arm and the mixed wood-stone of his left arm, it makes a peculiar bell ringing noise. Don't worry about it.
"Well, ya don't have ta say another word! Let's talk knots." He will refrain from making a- Oh wait no he's winking. Gosh darn innuendo.
