What: With the Silver Mirror claimed and the animals of Eden relocated, it's time for the carnival to kick back and enjoy an interdimensional bathhouse and the surrounding festival city. Meanwhile, the scattered shards of the Mirror have an unexpected effect.
Warnings: Dark/Light halves acting weird.

THE BIG CLEANSE↴ As the carnival recovers, the Ringmaster has brought it to the gates of a famous interdimensional bathhouse to rest. She won't be joining you for most of it, though she will be checking in frequently and available by radio. She's fixed a large portion of the Silver Mirror after it shattered, but it seems like pieces are missing. She doesn't want to rest until the missing shards are dealt with, and the Mirror itself is locked away safely. ► YOUR OTHER HALF: The shards missing from the Silver Mirror didn't just disappear - after breaking apart in Eden, fragments of the object embedded themselves in the spirits of those not already touched by its powers, and those that had been the most fae-touched. That means, your characters. The effect of this, explained in more detail on the plotting post, is that some characters will be splitting into two versions of themselves: the Light, and the Dark. This doesn't mean good and evil, of course, it's far more complicated than that. Splits can start happening at any time after arriving in Shabon, and initially characters won't know how to rejoin with their twins. Later on, it will become apparent that they need to reconnect via the shard of the Mirror they share... of course, in order to rejoin, you have to have both halves, and not all twins will be as eager to go back to the way things were before. This plot point is optional. ► SPA DAY: When you're not engaging in metaphysical division, you are free to enjoy the many luxuries that Shabon offers. Things will mostly have an east-Asian bend, like what you would see in the movie Spirited Away, but as long as it doesn't affect the setting much, you can honestly have whatever spa-type services available that you want. Food is served both in restaurants and 'buffet' style. There are also well paid sex workers here, if that is your thing, but make sure to tip well. ► FESTIVAL TOWN: The city surrounding Shabondamashii is largely meant to catch the business of interdimensional tourists. There are frequent parades and other events held, and the architecture is very closely packed. It's easy to get lost if you leave the bathhouse, but it's definitely worth it if you like party. You can pick out a few outfits for yourself and some fun nick nacks, but nothing that would normally require mod approval.

"Ehh? Why not?" Doll easily deflects Ginko's hands, completely undeterred from creating as much physical proximity as she wants to. "Y'can' jus' sit here all day, there's so much out there!"

With a big grin, she pushes her bang behind her ear and tucks it as securely as she can. The burn mark that took up nearly half of her face is gone, as is her ruined eye. Doll is perfectly symmetrical, somehow.

"I can' find Joker, 'n I really wanna get somethin' ta keep m'hair back. Please?"

His mouth sort of twitches, like he almost wants to laugh at that. But he doesn't. Not even the sort of dry, humorless sound that his laughter usually comes out as. But, really - he can't sit here all day?

"Believe me, I can." He's still trying his best to wiggle away, putting whatever bit of distance between them he can. "I don't-- I shouldn't go out there."

Then he freezes. And stares.

"...What happened to your eye?"

"Hm? Oh! Innit grand?" Doll grins and tilts the previously scarred part of her face towards Ginko so he can see it better. "I woke up an' it was jus' like this! Maybe they did somethin' while I slept? Don't matter much ta me how, though." Her grin drifts down into a more placid smile, her fingers run gently over the smooth skin, enjoying the sensation. "I'm beautiful now."

And it looks like she truly, wholeheartedly believes that. No twinge of doubt, no worry that there's a price attached, no thought given to how Tamaki had reassured her she was pretty how she was. All of that is completely absent, when it probably should be there.

"Hey, maybe they c'n do somethin' for ya too!" She bounces a little on Ginko's stomach. "An' Joker! Heck, I bet they could do somethin' for everybody!"

"...Weren't you already?" He's just... he's just confused. What the hell is Doll talking about, what is happening.

He sort of winces, making a quiet choking sound. He sort of feels sick, and he doesn't know how much of that is Doll's bouncing and how much is just... everything else going on right now. "That's-- that is not going to help much, I'll just-- I'm not wasting time on that."

She looks at Ginko for a silent beat like he's just suggested she go ride a dog sled through the lobby of the bathhouse-- like he's legit crazy. After a moment she laughs. "No? Oh, come on Ginko, I know what people think. Everybody is just too nice, they don' say what they're act'lly thinking-- and that's a good thing! There's never a need to hurt anybody's feelin's outright, after all. But I'm perceptive enough ta know what goes unsaid." She smiles like it's great that she's finally figured what feels to her like a giant breakthrough concerning human behavior-- too bad it's a completely twisted version of 'People Are Inherently Good'.

"But that don't matter no more! Nobody has ta keep anythin' t'themselves, and that saves ev'rybody some trouble!" Mercifully, she stops bouncing on Ginko's stomach and watches him for a moment, that same smile still fixed on her face. "It's not a waste if it makes ya happy, Ginko. Wouldn't ya be glad ta be rid of it?"

Ginko snorts and looks away, kind of making a face. "Or you're making assumptions based on what you expect. 'S'another option." That was probably absolutely not the right thing to say to that, but it's out in the open now, for better or worse, even if it's super rude.

"Anyway, I don't--" Another face, and he goes to just straight-up lift her off of him and put her on the futon. "I don't know if I would be or not, alright?"
