What: With the Silver Mirror claimed and the animals of Eden relocated, it's time for the carnival to kick back and enjoy an interdimensional bathhouse and the surrounding festival city. Meanwhile, the scattered shards of the Mirror have an unexpected effect.
Warnings: Dark/Light halves acting weird.

THE BIG CLEANSE↴ As the carnival recovers, the Ringmaster has brought it to the gates of a famous interdimensional bathhouse to rest. She won't be joining you for most of it, though she will be checking in frequently and available by radio. She's fixed a large portion of the Silver Mirror after it shattered, but it seems like pieces are missing. She doesn't want to rest until the missing shards are dealt with, and the Mirror itself is locked away safely. ► YOUR OTHER HALF: The shards missing from the Silver Mirror didn't just disappear - after breaking apart in Eden, fragments of the object embedded themselves in the spirits of those not already touched by its powers, and those that had been the most fae-touched. That means, your characters. The effect of this, explained in more detail on the plotting post, is that some characters will be splitting into two versions of themselves: the Light, and the Dark. This doesn't mean good and evil, of course, it's far more complicated than that. Splits can start happening at any time after arriving in Shabon, and initially characters won't know how to rejoin with their twins. Later on, it will become apparent that they need to reconnect via the shard of the Mirror they share... of course, in order to rejoin, you have to have both halves, and not all twins will be as eager to go back to the way things were before. This plot point is optional. ► SPA DAY: When you're not engaging in metaphysical division, you are free to enjoy the many luxuries that Shabon offers. Things will mostly have an east-Asian bend, like what you would see in the movie Spirited Away, but as long as it doesn't affect the setting much, you can honestly have whatever spa-type services available that you want. Food is served both in restaurants and 'buffet' style. There are also well paid sex workers here, if that is your thing, but make sure to tip well. ► FESTIVAL TOWN: The city surrounding Shabondamashii is largely meant to catch the business of interdimensional tourists. There are frequent parades and other events held, and the architecture is very closely packed. It's easy to get lost if you leave the bathhouse, but it's definitely worth it if you like party. You can pick out a few outfits for yourself and some fun nick nacks, but nothing that would normally require mod approval.

She can't help it. Once she comes near, it's rather clear something is wrong.

[It seems the best question and helps her figure out if she's doing the Fun thing right. Also, she got a cool new bag and a bunch of candy so that counts right.]

[His mood isn't completely stuck being downcast when Reira comes in and asks that. They briefly swing for the new distraction- but at the same time it doesn't cover up the previous feeling.

Yugo peers at the tiny child and smiles.]

It was cute. [Said while using a hand to ruffle the girl's hair.] So yeah I had fun. [Which isn't a lie.]

[Not hiding feelings Really isn't helping the case here Yuugo. But she'll push on for now, and even huff a bit when her hair is ruffled slightly.] Mngh--! It's still tied up, no-!

Umn. That's good though...I still don't know why everyone made it happen, but it was nice.

Picking a day isn't easy though, I get it. Maybe what you should go with the same day as some kind of moment you'll never forget in your heart.

[She pauses, thinking of Yuuya. 14 right...yeah.] ...Fourteen. [Yeah. But also no Reira, you're definitely gonna be 8 at some point.]

[There's an extremely long and confused pause from Yugo. Even looking over himself and trying to comprehend the idea, though it seems he could be failing at that.]

Just because no one back home would know we were running around with the carnival...! This is my third year right now with the Ringmaster you know...!

[She frowns.] ...I don't think that's it... ...that's not how everyone else said it works, anyway.

[A pause.] ...Do people really grow that fast in three years?

[You'll grow that fast, kiddo.]

Maybe not as much as me. [Visibly very proud of his own height and physique for the hundredth time, unaware of where it really came from.]

But eat plenty of food and yeah you'll be surprised three years from now.

[Reira is just going to....frown, a lot.] Mnnhh...

Your face is still mostly the same though...

[Welcome to the realities of growing up, Reira. Anyway.] You still didn't say if you have a birthday...how can you know you're more than 14 here if you didn't have a birthday?

I don't need some kind of huge celebration just to know how long a year is...!

[And it almost feels like the tiny child is calling him dumb, but that's most likely not the case. But the emotion behind it cracks like a whip regardless.]

Sort of... it's... mostly a chance for everyone to know when to celebrate that with you, that's for sure. Especially for the people that care about you.

It wouldn't be as special if getting that kind of attention happened more than once out of the year.

It's the parents that would know and tell their kid what their birthday is. So if that kid doesn't have any, there's no way for them to have any idea what that day was.

We just have to get through the rest of this crazy adventure ahead of us.
