What: With the Silver Mirror claimed and the animals of Eden relocated, it's time for the carnival to kick back and enjoy an interdimensional bathhouse and the surrounding festival city. Meanwhile, the scattered shards of the Mirror have an unexpected effect.
Warnings: Dark/Light halves acting weird.

THE BIG CLEANSE↴ As the carnival recovers, the Ringmaster has brought it to the gates of a famous interdimensional bathhouse to rest. She won't be joining you for most of it, though she will be checking in frequently and available by radio. She's fixed a large portion of the Silver Mirror after it shattered, but it seems like pieces are missing. She doesn't want to rest until the missing shards are dealt with, and the Mirror itself is locked away safely. ► YOUR OTHER HALF: The shards missing from the Silver Mirror didn't just disappear - after breaking apart in Eden, fragments of the object embedded themselves in the spirits of those not already touched by its powers, and those that had been the most fae-touched. That means, your characters. The effect of this, explained in more detail on the plotting post, is that some characters will be splitting into two versions of themselves: the Light, and the Dark. This doesn't mean good and evil, of course, it's far more complicated than that. Splits can start happening at any time after arriving in Shabon, and initially characters won't know how to rejoin with their twins. Later on, it will become apparent that they need to reconnect via the shard of the Mirror they share... of course, in order to rejoin, you have to have both halves, and not all twins will be as eager to go back to the way things were before. This plot point is optional. ► SPA DAY: When you're not engaging in metaphysical division, you are free to enjoy the many luxuries that Shabon offers. Things will mostly have an east-Asian bend, like what you would see in the movie Spirited Away, but as long as it doesn't affect the setting much, you can honestly have whatever spa-type services available that you want. Food is served both in restaurants and 'buffet' style. There are also well paid sex workers here, if that is your thing, but make sure to tip well. ► FESTIVAL TOWN: The city surrounding Shabondamashii is largely meant to catch the business of interdimensional tourists. There are frequent parades and other events held, and the architecture is very closely packed. It's easy to get lost if you leave the bathhouse, but it's definitely worth it if you like party. You can pick out a few outfits for yourself and some fun nick nacks, but nothing that would normally require mod approval.

How scary~. He wonders what her response would have been if he'd dared to refuse. Good thing he doesn't have any interest in doing that. Instead, he hums and looks over himself. "What's hurting, huh...?"

Well, some of the things that are hurting are a little more emotional and mental than anything physical, and he's pretty sure that the staff here aren't paid for dealing with that kind of thing. Still, well, if he had to pinpoint one thing... He holds one his left arm, wiggling the wooden fingers there. Among the grooves of curving food, opal shimmers in the comforting low light. "Do ya think they have anythin' on hand-" HA. "-for plantlife?"

"Mmmhmm..."

She looks over the arm, trying not to move her head once.

Hah. Hand. "Plants..? I would think so~" she hums, smiling. "They have all sorts here, and there's definitely more than one plant-thing in the multiverse..."

"As long as they don't put me in fertilizer," he jokes, even as someone who's been standing nearby finds the perfect opening to step in. It's a woman who'd be otherwise normal, if not for the flowers blooming easily in her pulled back hair... and the way her veins are notably green... and the pure pink eyes... Listen, she's humanoid, which is more than can be said for some things in the universe. Either way, she approaches Joker to tell him she has just the thing for him, and immediately starts herding him over to a nearby chair.

Well, he guesses that decision is made for him. "So, any plans for other relaxin' delights?" he asks as his yukata sleeve is carefully rolled up and the assistant investigates where wood joins flesh.

"Pffhhhhfff...I'm sure that's not what they'll do!" Well. They'll sort of do it. The creams and salves will probably have fertilizer, and she really wouldn't be surprised by it.

As it is, she sighs and soaks in her current treatment. "Mnhhh...not really...it's better to just go with the flow I think~ Whatever feels right...Maybe I'll get a drink after this, I guess..."

They will almost definitely do it, and he's honestly prepared to be completely unsurprised if someone starts misting his arm with a little spray bottle. He's seen people do that in commercials on occasional worlds that have things like television, and ads.

Well, he can't really expect anything else, he guesses, so he just relaxes right where he is. The attendant is getting something else, and he leaves her to it while paying attention to Carly. "Uh oh! Drunk supervisor warnin'~." Carly probably won't get drunk, but he'll tease her regardless.

...Probably.

Anything is possible in the multiverse.

At least it'll be nice misting. It's good to relax though, and as Joker calls out his warning, she huffs. "Ooof! It'll be a while longer before I get drunk, trust me!! There's plenty of time for it..."

Surprise, she's going to get drunk.

"So yer gettin' drunk."

Well, at least now he knows what to look out for, and he tunes out whatever is happening to his arm as he grins over at Carly.

"How much will it take, I wonder? I'm sure they have all sorts of delightful things that could get ya hammered in one gulp~."

"I sure am~!" Hell yeah!

That's a question that gets an amused huff however. "I'm sure there's plenty that could do that, but that's not fun at all! It'll be a long, and wonderful journey...~"

Thatta girl, Carly. He'd give her applause if his arm wasn't currently... Is that a lamp? Joker goes back to ignoring it.

"So you'll go for the simpler drinks, then? Or, rather, I suppose they'd be called weaker. I learn more about ya every day~."

"Simpler isn't the word I'd use.... ...But I guess they're 'weaker'..! But that just means I get more flavor- more fruit mixes, and slush, and cherries..!"

COCKTAIL PARTY TIME.

"Sounds much better," he agrees. "I mean, it'll be a helluva lot better than whatever concoction of Lambert's we were forced ta swallow down. Did ya have any of that, Carly?"

He can't remember. Joker can't remember a lot after he took down some of that swill, honestly. Lambert is from a horrifying world.

"Hoofff..! Definitely not! I wasn't one of the ones poisoned in that mess, remember?" she breathes, resisting the urge to shake her head as cucumber slices are draped over it. "...Though if I ever shoot someone accidentally, they might need it themselves..."

"Yer lucky." In more than the poison aspect. "I'm amazed that one sip wasn't enough ta knock people out. It makes me scared ta try that fae wine- got gifted that during our little trip ta the moon." Does he look like a boozer? Now he's worried about it.

"Hmm? I got some of that myself! A bottle of ale I think?" she adds, blinking. "Maybe we should have a try together sometime~ Supervisor drinking party! ...Or at least the Entertainer's crowd..." That would be...Wardrobe and Stage. Just those two.
