What: With the Silver Mirror claimed and the animals of Eden relocated, it's time for the carnival to kick back and enjoy an interdimensional bathhouse and the surrounding festival city. Meanwhile, the scattered shards of the Mirror have an unexpected effect.
Warnings: Dark/Light halves acting weird.

THE BIG CLEANSE↴ As the carnival recovers, the Ringmaster has brought it to the gates of a famous interdimensional bathhouse to rest. She won't be joining you for most of it, though she will be checking in frequently and available by radio. She's fixed a large portion of the Silver Mirror after it shattered, but it seems like pieces are missing. She doesn't want to rest until the missing shards are dealt with, and the Mirror itself is locked away safely. ► YOUR OTHER HALF: The shards missing from the Silver Mirror didn't just disappear - after breaking apart in Eden, fragments of the object embedded themselves in the spirits of those not already touched by its powers, and those that had been the most fae-touched. That means, your characters. The effect of this, explained in more detail on the plotting post, is that some characters will be splitting into two versions of themselves: the Light, and the Dark. This doesn't mean good and evil, of course, it's far more complicated than that. Splits can start happening at any time after arriving in Shabon, and initially characters won't know how to rejoin with their twins. Later on, it will become apparent that they need to reconnect via the shard of the Mirror they share... of course, in order to rejoin, you have to have both halves, and not all twins will be as eager to go back to the way things were before. This plot point is optional. ► SPA DAY: When you're not engaging in metaphysical division, you are free to enjoy the many luxuries that Shabon offers. Things will mostly have an east-Asian bend, like what you would see in the movie Spirited Away, but as long as it doesn't affect the setting much, you can honestly have whatever spa-type services available that you want. Food is served both in restaurants and 'buffet' style. There are also well paid sex workers here, if that is your thing, but make sure to tip well. ► FESTIVAL TOWN: The city surrounding Shabondamashii is largely meant to catch the business of interdimensional tourists. There are frequent parades and other events held, and the architecture is very closely packed. It's easy to get lost if you leave the bathhouse, but it's definitely worth it if you like party. You can pick out a few outfits for yourself and some fun nick nacks, but nothing that would normally require mod approval.

Hey, it's fine if she takes a little while. They have- well, not all the time in the world. They hardly ever do, now, in the Carnival. But surely they have enough time for this, he should think. So he lets her take her time in choosing what yukata she likes. While she makes a pile, Joker gets to organizing it so that it's not such a mess. Hey, no point in having the shopkeep yell at them, right? He can help keep it neat.

After a little bit, he asks, "Think this is enough for ya ta go through?" They can always get more, of course, but maybe they shouldn't overload her too much.

"Ummm..."

The daemon- who shifts into a large bird, now very, very awkwardly trailing around that initial yukata, blinks. "...It shall SUFFICE."

So that's a yes. "...It's a big pile...it's getting hard to hold."

Thanks, large and very blunt bird. He appreciates your honesty. Chuckling, Joker starts to go through the clothes and picks two at random. "Well, we'll make it a small pile soon, no worries. So!"

With one pattern in one hand and another in the other, he holds the two up side by side. "Pick one~!"

"Umnh...."

"LEFT!"

Well at least one of them has the idea.

Actually that may end up the trend. Reira hesitates- her daemon assuredly does not.

"Left it is!" Thank you, daemon friend. Humming, Joker goes to put the yukata on the right away, and puts the one that's been chosen to the side. They'll come back to that later.

"Then I'll pick another two- but, Reira?" He 'snaps' his right hand again, smiling. "Go with the first one ya think of, okay?" The daemon is helpful, but it can't be the only thing to speak up.

Well at least the daemon is getting their pick. Reira herself hems and haws over options, only to jump at Joker's request. "Ah-! T...The first one?" But what if it's just because she saw one first? Or because it was more eye catching!?

(That's the point kiddo.)

That's absolutely the point, and Joker will keep going with it as he makes his way through the pile. This will be good for her, he thinks, although hopefully it doesn't give her a heart attack.

....He will be checking to make sure she doesn't have a heart attack. At least not until they're done.

It's very hard. Not having a heart attack. This is too many choices, and she has to pick the first ones she sees???

Upsetting! It's upsetting! Her daemon grumbles a bit the longer they go, even as the pile is getting thinned out.

"Mnnhhhn..."

Alright, that sounds like a good time to pause. So, with the latest pair put aside, Joker turns around so that he go crouch down in front of Reira.

"Head hurtin'?" he asks, before pausing. "Well, maybe not literally, although I wouldn't be surprised."

Well. It doesn't hurt literally, so-

"...ummm....is that supposed to mean I'm stuck?" Because sure, she's stuck then.
