What: The carnival enjoys a few days in Wismuth, a coastal city on this planet's version of the American east. However, there are a few things very unique about this version of the planet...
Warnings: The usual, wholesome fun.

PILLAR OF CREATION↴ Upon arriving, things in Wismuth will seem pretty peaceful. It's a massive city, with no shortage of things going on, but things like violent crime and homelessness are at an all time low. You can wander the streets without much scrutiny, presumed to just be tourists, and most people here come across as helpful and friendly. ► VIBRANCY: The main thing that sets this planet apart is its vibrancy - AKA, the raw creative energy its filled with, flowing from its status as a Pillar of Creation. There is no literal pillar, but Wismuth and its planet is a place where Creation's energy comes through strongest. As a result, everything here feels somehow more real, more intense in a way that's hard to put a finger on. Life is abundant, and its bleeds through in every sensation. ► ATTRACTIONS: There are plenty of things to see while going around the city. First and foremost, there is a lovely beach area bordering the ocean, and a number of tourist aimed attractions built around it. There are giant malls, movie theaters, live stage performances, museums and all kinds of other points of cultural interest. Anything you can do in a big city you can do here, but better. ► ALLOWANCES: The Ringmaster will be giving everyone a reasonable amount of local currency for a few days on the town. You can't make any massive acquisitions with it, but it's more than enough to eat out, see some shows, go to the beach, and whatever you like. You can feel free to pick up some casual supplies, like mundane clothing and souvenirs. There will be more given out later, after the performance week. ► PERFORMANCE: Performance week is starting early this time, after only a couple days of exploration. When the carnival has already been on vacation for a month, the Ringmaster figures they may as well get right to it, and then do more touring afterwards. Members of the local populace will find themselves in the carnival once performances begin, dazzled by the other worldly sights. Magic doesn't seem to exist here, despite the fact that it will flow easier for people bringing it from other worlds.

[Touring Season]

[Gongenzaka was already a relatively emotive sort, for all that he can reign himself in most of the time. But the air of Wismuth makes it impossible to abandon a smile, and he walks through the city with clear interest and excitement. With a stretch, he walks under a 'new' glamor-look close at his pomp, and you can see some braiding inside. More importantly, his eyes are both 'normal'...and the rest of him? Human. It makes wearing his new coat and custom sashes seem far easier, though he's not wearing either of his new T-Shirts. That's what Marishi, his Daemon is doing.

Not that Marishi can be seen by anyone, naturally. Which is half of why she seems so Smug, no doubt.

Regardless-his glamor is almost flawless...but naturally, those who focus, or catch a glance from the corner of their eye, can see him go from a 5'8'', alarmingly muscular 14 year old, to a 9 foot centaurine beast of fur and leaves. Amazing.] Hah-HAAAAAHHH..! [Aaaah, but what a trip already-] Such a beautiful city...! ...It almost reminds me of pictures from home..!

[Performance and Patrol]

[Back on Patrol and on the Carnival Grounds, and Gongenzaka looks quite Impressive. He wears a simple shirt-sheer black, along with his new, lion-faced belt. His sashes are the same as typical for now, but between his size (9 foot with bear forlegs on an otherwise centaurine body is Not Small), his 'silver' eye, his horns, his robotic arm, his fairly brutal fangs....................... ...Well it's the beginning of a LIST of reasons why no one seems willing to cause much trouble near him, but fortunately for him, he's alarmingly good at arriving without warning.

Dealing with a rough customer? He'll suddenly just be there to say, 'Can I, the man Gongenzaka, help you'-a low growl to his words.

Simply need to help point someone in another direction? He'll have a much more friendly tone, suffice to say.

Or maybe you're the one who needs help...?]

Touring season

[Yuya practically bounces into the city. Warm and coastal is way more his territory, and with a short break period he wants to get in as much fun as possible before he goes to work bringing enjoyment to others.]

Wow... [He skids to a stop beside Gongenzaka, taking the scene in. It's so... bright, and vibrant, and clear.

He looks at Marishi, then turns up to Gon with a grin.] It's really amazing, right?

[He shifts a little on his feet, antsy to explore.]

[betheman]

[It's as if someone put colour drops on everything, ramped up the hue/saturation, and so on, so on. Marishi purrs, and Gongenzaka nods.] Aaah! It is nice to be in a 'typical' city, without any consequence, as well... ...it feels more as if things have returned to their typical pattern for the Carnival, in this way....

[Yuya hasn't even picked up on the heightened emotions, but he does notice how colorful everything and everyone is. His gaze settles on everything a second longer, but he's quickly distracted from one sight to the next.

He chuckles, more to himself.] I thought the danger was the typical pattern... [But it's not something to dwell on now. Yuya pushes his fist forward.] Let's go look around!

[He doesn't wait long before he's charging forward.]

[betheman]

Hmm! Far from it! [He huffs, practically insulted.] Even with what time I, the man Gongenzaka, spent before my 'break', this was apparent..! And-

A-AAUAH-!

Mmhahahhaha~! Better catch up~ [Marishi laughs, watching as Yuuya bolts ahead. The two themselves are quick to follow, naturally.]

W-Wait, Yuuya..!!!

['Break' is a gentle way to put 'fucking died'.

At least Yuya's still left his skates in his trailer at this point, so he can't get too much ahead of Gongenzaka. But he does laugh, turning his head to look for Gon until he catches up.] Come on! I want to see as much as possible before the carnival opens up.

[The city just accentuates his excitement, ands he's already looking around for something interesting--some sort of street performer, or shop, or... a cafe themed after aliens.]

[Listen, he just doesn't want to bring the mood down ok..!! Regardless, catching up is a breeze when one remembers there's still horse and bear legs under that glamor...it doesn't take long before the sound of muffled hoof-beats clouded by feet comes through.] Auh-!

We are to have time after the performances as well, you know..! [he insists, though he does little else to even try to pull his friend back. What's the harm after all? It's the big city, a modern city, and they're properly thinking this time around, so-

...Uh.]

Auh.... An...Alien cafe..?

[Really, such excellently speedy service! And Joker had just been about to flick on his radio to ask for help from Security to deal with the belligerent (and, judging by the red on his face and smell in the air, drunk) man that's standing besides him outside of one of the tents.]

[Well. He'd been belligerent for a moment. Now, however, he seems to stumble a bit in his intoxicated confidence as he boggles at the enormous person that's just come up and is growling.]

[Joker is much more cheerful, of course.]

Zaka~! You came just in time~. I was hopin' ya could escort this gentleman ta somewhere a little quieter, and away from my performers? He was a bit noisy durin' the show, so I asked him ta step out for a bit~.

[Suddenly, the drunk isn't so noisy. It's actually impressive. They're not even in the tent at this point-if they were, it'd be a Bouncer here, not Gon. But here they are.

Which as Gongenzaka frowning..............Even more heavily.] They behaved as such during the show, and have decided to continue their behavior, then?

[Hooooooo this patron is sweating bullets NOW...] ...Is there perhaps, something you wish to say then, before I, the man Gongenzaka, either show you, or carry you to our gates?

[He's getting better at this internalized goodcop/badcop, wow.]

[Playing good cop or bad cop is a very important talent for Security to have! Joker is quite proud. Of course, on the fly, he's more than happy to laugh brightly as the drunk stutters.]

"I didn't mean anything by it, that's not-"

Now, now, I'm sure he's learned his lesson~. [Ever been smacked on the back with a wooden hand? This patron now sure has.] Think we could put him in time out somewhere? He had a lady friend with him, but she said she'd deal with him after the show~.

[What will be scarier than Gongenzaka? Will it be the rather plain looking lady that had been looking rather embarrassed and annoyed back in the stands? Joker hopes they both get to watch and find uot.]

Mmm, a lady friend? [Gongenzaka honestly takes half a second to clue into what that means-but with a nod, decides that's fair enough.] Hmm! In that case, I, the man Gongenzaka, can certainly keep an eye upon him until that point!

[Joker isn't sure what is more hilarious: what he has to look forward to, or the way the man is shrinking back at the idea of being watched by this monster of a teenager man. So much for "liquid courage".]

I'll just wait, I'm not five-

I'd be worried if anyone served ya in that case~. But we can't just ya ta yer own devices~. Right? [Joker nods up to Gongenzaka.]

[No matter how squirmy or insisting the man is, Gongenzaka is far more STEADFAST in his own matters. He nods, and with crossed arms, simply continues to level down a stare.] Indeed-it is the duty of a member of the Patrol, to remain with those who could potentially create trouble until someone else is near to take responsibility...

...To back away from this duty...Would be UNFORGIVABLE..! [dont move buddy]

Performance and Patrol

[ Connie was struck as she saw Gonganzaka solve the problem of an ornery carnival goer, who seemed to be shouting something about getting cheated. All Gonganzaka had to do is show up and politely ask if he can help and the man sobered up and departed post haste. ]

Wow! I think you might be even better at that than Garnet is!

[It's a Skill, and a skill he's becoming quite proud of suffice to say-though he's not so hot-headed that he would simply take a compliment with pride; once he hears Connie, he actually blushes a bit, glowing a little beneath his fur as he coughs.] MNH-!

I, the man Gongenzaka, certainly do not know who this 'Garnet' is....but I am glad that the practice which has been given toward my duty is paying off..!

Are you faring well with your own patrols, Connie? [Same Job-Same hat!! He's not going to think about the t-shirt he got.]

I'm not really sure... it's actually really hard? To try to confront people, especially adults.

And I haven't really seen people doing bad things so its hard to know what you're supposed to, you know. Engage.

[Hmm. He ponders this, crossing his arms.] ...Indeed...it can be difficult to gauge where and when to step in... ...perhaps you could accompany me then, to 'learn on the job'?

[Well that's certainly an answer.

He coughs, and then nods.] Auh-W-Well! Then in that case, simply follow me! ....though, do make certain you can still see what I cam doing, naturally..!

[As opposed to him blocking that view. It would be Counter Productive.]

[Jinx wasn't necesarilly up to anything at the moment, at least not until she saw a certain familiar figure. Well, familiar in the sense that she still remembered what he looked like.

Seriously, how could anyone forget someone like that.]

[She ran over to him.]

How come you didn't tell me I'd actually be stuck here for a year! This is all your fault, you know.

[It is definitely difficult to forget someone this fuzzy.

Gongenzaka has probably the calmest possible reaction to this moment in fact, merely turning slowly with his eyebrows raised Right Up.

....As a matter of fact, I specifically stated she would keep you hear 'one year and one day'.

More than that, I, the man Gongenzaka, warned you repeatedly that there would be a steep price for damages.

Okay, but I didn't actually think you were being serious about it. You know?

I thought you were just messing with me or something.
